Oh dear, this really hasn’t been the best year for former TOWIE star, Maria Fowler, has it?
First she was axed from The Only Way Is Essex after her sparring partner, Kirk Norcross, quit the hit ITV2 reality show to take pursue other projects, then she was stuck in the middle of a Twitter war with X Factor’s Marcus Collins after he branded her a homophobic racist when they met at a Desperate Scousewives event, then she entered into another Twitter war with the entire world after questioning why Muhummed Ali needed an aid to help him stand, and now it has been revealed that despite offering herself on a plate to Celebrity Big Brother, they turned her down for this year’s series!

For the umpteenth time this week, former The Only Way Is Essex star Maria Fowler and X Factor‘s Marcus Collins have been thrust into the limelight again over the war they began on Thursday, a row which is threatening to last longer than either career concerned at this rate.
As we reported on Friday, and then on Saturday, the pair had met at a Desperate Scousewives launch party and that after really not hitting it off well they began a war of words via social networking site, Twitter, during which Collins accused Fowler of being a “homophobic racist” (read original article here).

After we reported yesterday about the reality twitter war between former The Only Way Is Essex star, Maria Fowler and X Factor‘s Marcus Collins, Maria Fowler has now come out and publicly denied the allegations that she is a homophobic racist (read original article here).
The war between the two started yesterday after they met at a Desperate Scousewives launch party, when Maria asked for a photograph with the ‘Seven Nation Army’ singer, a request he apparently reacted to rudely, which then escalated into a full-blown twitter war where Fowler accused Collins of spitting at her and Collins accused Fowler of being a racist homophobe, saying on social networking site, twitter that Fowler had called him a ‘f****** queer c***”, tweeting: ‘not standing for homophobic abuse by anyone it’s unnessasry and I never spat in anyone’s hair.’

Desperate Scousewives has been axed after only one series it has been revealed.
The E4 reality TV series was based in Liverpool and cameras followed a bunch of well known local socialites, footballers and models and portrayed their day to day lives.
News came yesterday, as it was reported that E4 bosses were disappointed by the ratings attracted by the show for it’s first run and amid concerns that fans weren’t warming to the format or the cast, as they have to similar shows such as ITV2′s ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ and MTV’s ‘Geordie Shore.’

E4 bosses are reportedly considering axing their brand new reality TV show Desperate Scousewives after only one season.
The ‘dramality’ TV show launched last November and centered around a group of socialites, footballers and models who all lived in Liverpool.
It was supposed to be the channel’s own version of ITV2′s The Only Way Is Essex and producers had hoped that it would be a huge ratings hit, however the reality was much more disappointing. The series opened with just over 500,000 viewers but the viewing figures steadily declined as the run continued.

Desperate Scouseiwves kicked off on E4 tonight and we have to say, though we never intended it to happen, we think we might be hooked.
Much in the way that we said we could never enjoy a show as poorly acted as The Only Way Is Essex, we were determined not to get caught up in the Liverpudlian reality TV series as quite frankly, we really don’t have the time to be addicted to yet another show!
