Sibling duo Donny and Marie Osmond are reportedly planning to perform on an upcoming installment of Dancing With The Stars.
Both stars have previously competed on the American dance show. Donny won the competition last year, while Marie finished third on the fifth season of the show.
Donny Osmond has beaten Kelly Osbourne and won America’s Dancing With The Stars. The singer’s winning dance was the Argentine Tango with partner Kym Johnson.
On hearing the result, Osmond pulled his sister and singing partner Marie – who danced in an earlier series of the dance show – from the audience to enjoy his victory with him.
Head judge Len Goodman said that Osmond had “finished strong”. Carrie Ann Inaba called the singer’s tango “artistry in motion”.
Former teenage heartthrob, Donny Osmond, has insisted that he has to beat his sister’s record when he appears on Dancing With Stars.
Donny’s sister Marie finished in third place in the fifth season of the show, her most memorable moment being her faint at the end of a samba performance.
Donny told Entertainment Tonight: “People will come up to me and say, ‘Don’t faint!’ Do you know how many times I’ve heard that in the last two years? I’m thinking about doing a whole dance number doing nothing but fainting!
Former teen heart-throb, Donny Osmond has revealed that he has signed up to compete in this years series of Dancing With Stars.
Whilst taping an interview for The Bonnie Hunt Show Osmond revealed: “Well, I guess I am making an announcement. I’ll say I am seriously considering doing it, let’s put it that way,” he said, adding: “I guess I just let the cat out of the bag.”
