Gillian Taylforth, who of course left the Celebrity Big Brother house last week, has revealed that the bosses of BBC soap EastEnders have “begged” her to return to the show, even though her character Kathy Beale died in a car accident!
Apparently, EastEnders producers met with Gillian and told her that the decision to kill Kathy was “the biggest mistake in the show’s history” and added that if she agreed to return to the soap, they would find a way to write her back in.
Gillian told the Daily Star Sunday, “I was at an EastEnders party and I had a scriptwriter saying they wanted me to go back… Read more & comment »

You can hardly blame the entire I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp for losing patience with drama queen Helen Flanagan, and so it was not much of a surprise to us (or her) when instead of dishing out the ‘there-there’s’ and ‘just do your best’ pep talks before she embarked upon her sixth bushtucker trial, they issued her a ‘bring back food or else’ warning!
This was the sixth trial that Coronation Street star, Helen, had been voted by the British public to do, after the previous five had resulted in a big fat zero in the meal count so far, and as fed up as she must have been of doing them, we doubt it slightly measured the annoyance levels of her starving camp mates.

Former EastEnders actress, Cheryl Fergison, has admitted that she would ”love” to go on ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!‘
Fergison, who recently took part in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, was sacked from her role as Heather Trott quite publicly after discussing soap secrets with a magazine whilst doing a feature about her wedding to her Moroccan toy boy. Fergison was gutted, and desperately pleaded to keep her job, but bosses were so miffed with her they not only wrote her out, they had her character murdered so there would be no chance of a return to the show (well slim to none, it is EastEnders after all!)

As fans of Celebrity Big Brother will know, on Friday, former EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison became the second housemate of this series to be evicted.
After she left, her fellow housemates discussed how much they’d enjoyed having Cheryl around, with Julie branding her “the life and soul” while Coleen shed a few tears as she said, “I’m going to miss her jokes.”
However, what Cheryl’s housemates didn’t know was that for a while after she learned she was to be axed from EastEnders – and her role as murder victim Heather Trott – Cheryl became depressed and has only recently begun to move past it.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, Cheryl said, “I didn’t allow myself to have a grieving process when I left EastEnders… Read more & comment »

So last night saw the second Celebrity Big Brother eviction of the series, and in an unexpected, shocking twist the public voted not to save Cheryl Fergison!
The larger than life actress, who used to play Heather Trott in the award-winning BBC soap, EastEnders, left had been up against her CBB friend, Coleen Nolan, Julian Clary and Lorenzo.
Whilst waiting to hear the announcement the contestants could hear the crowds outside booing them all, except Cheryl, who received cheers before, and after her eviction, making the news even more unbelievable that she had been given the boot.

Reality TV star and socialite turned bodybuilding brick s***house Jodie Marsh is reportedly the latest recruit who’ll take to the rink in this year’s Dancing On Ice.
The Daily Star reports that Jodie, and EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas, will take part in the new series, which is reportedly going to be revamped in terms of its set and the judging panel.
A show insider told the paper, “The show was slammed as being boring last time around…
“So bosses are keen to pick people who will make the headlines, and in Jodie’s case, it doesn’t have to be for the right reasons.
“She loves the limelight and they reckon she’d be great on the show…” Read more & comment »
