The bitchy bespectacled one, Elton John has slammed ITV’s X Factor and BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing during a live concert. I am guessing he’s not a big reality TV fan then!
Elton was playing the O2 Arena on Saturday night during the shows live final and declared to the crowd:
“I am surprised so many of you are here. I thought people would stay in to watch Strictly and X Factor. I’d rather have my privates bitten by an Alsatian than watch those shows.”
The comments weren’t exactly a shock as two years ago Sir Elton said: “The X Factor is a cruise ship show. I’ve got nothing against the people who go on – good luck to them. But I hate how they’re treated.

Superstars Robbie Williams, Elton John and Westlife , are reportedly set to coach the X factor finalists later this year.
During the competition each if the three categorys (under 25, over 25 and groups) will be whittled down to just twelve acts. it is these lucky twelve that can look forward to some world class advice fropm some of the music business’ top stars.
The Sunday Mirror reported that Robbie Williams will assist in coaching the 16-25 year-olds, Westlife will advise the groups and Elton John will coach the over 25s.
A source told the newspaper: “Simon said he wanted this series to be the biggest and best yet. This is a massive coup.”
But before you get too excited, don’t believe all you read in the papers, these guys seem pretty convinced that Robbie won’t be doing it. Is he just trying to throw us off the scent? Who knows! We’ll just have to wait and see!

The new series of X Factor kicked off on Saturday and Simon Cowell stated that this years series would be the best yet!
Rumours have been floating around that various celebrities would be making an appearance over the next four months of the show, and today we have heard that Sir Elton John and Beyonce Knowles are amongst the stars lined up as judges.
That should make seriously good telly! I imagine that Elton John could be even more cutting than Simon Cowell if he wanted to!
