In this one, Emilia reveals more on her and Latoya’s argument.

Here’s a great clip showing just what us girls talk about when we think the boys aren’t listening! Amy and Emelia are discussing Nathan.

Nathan has just today revealed that he fancies Amy, but she is panicking that her boyfriend won’t understand and is also worried about Latoya who has feelings for Nathan.

Is it just me, or is it getting hard to keep up with who fancies who in the Celebrity Hijack house this week?

Celebrity Hijack housemate, Emilia Arata has admitted to having the hots for fellow housemate Jeremy Metcalfe.

The pair got cosy on the bed together last night and finally admitted that they had feelings for each other.

“I am closest to Jeremy in the house,” Emilia later said.

“I like the way he has made an effort with me and has been really nice to me.”

I had managed to miss the fact that all the Celebrity Hijack celebrities (does that make sense?) have been keeping a blog over on the Channel 4 website.

I just had a quick read over Matt Lucas’ final blog entry before he handed the reins of power over to football legend, Ian Wright, and I was touched by how attached he had become to the hijack housemates.

Matt wrote:

The weird thing is you become oddly attached to the housemates in a way that takes you by suprise which is strange, if something upsets them then you feel upset and if they’re happy you feel happy and its really weird as I expected to feel a lot more distant from the whole process but actually you do become a lot more emotionally attached than I thought you would.

Matt also admits that he has great hopes for the future of the housemates, he seems to think that this bunch of young talent could go very very far.

When you see what Amelia and Victor do, and the number of hours a day they have to dedicate to their craft, when you hear Calista sing and think that’s as good as anything I’ve heard Mika do this year then you realise that actually these are very promising people.

Actually, weirdly I think some of them will go on to be so big that you’ll forget they were ever in this show because their potential on screen is really great.

I actually think Matt is right. For the last few years of Big Brother I have watched some of the most stupid people in Britain become famous for being foul mouthed or scantily clad. It’s nice to watch people with a genuine talent for a change, though I admit that in time, after watching them day after day, they may well prove just as annoying!

Celebrity Hijack housemates, Victor and Emilia Arata, have endured deaths of close family members who were fellow circus performers.

The pair have lost both an aunt and uncle in circus stunts gone wrong.

“Their auntie, Eva Garcia, died when she was 38 in Great Yarmouth after she fell about 20 metres during her aerial act,” another aunt, Mariska Arata told The Sun.

“She was very experienced, who started in the circus at the age of seven, and was so fit and strong – such a fantastic artist.

“Eva was Emilia’s gdmother and what happened to her affected Emilia terribly afterwards.”

And their uncle Jilles Antares, was killed in Paris, aged 43, when his trapeze equipment broke.

Celebrity Hijacker Emilia is an 18 year old circus performer from Birmingham. A roller skating contortionist Emilia performs as a double act with her brother and fellow hijacker Victor, at circus around Europe and for January in the in the Big Brother House. As renowned performers Emilia and her brother spend half the year in Germany and travelling Europe with their shows and have performed for Princess Anne and Prince Charles.

Emilia comes from seven generations of circus performers and has been in training since she was four years old, performing professionally for the first time when she was six. Emilia has a list of work related injuries that include broken knee, shoulder, wrist, fingers and several ribs.
