Comic Relief Does Fame Academy: Colin Murray Wants Christmas Number One With Edith Bowman

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy - Colin MurrayColin Murray has admitted to the Daily Record that although he would never embark upon a serious singing career, he would love to record and release a Christmas number one with his fellow Radio One DJ Edith Bowman.

Belfast-born Colin said: “If Edith wanted a wee shot at the Christmas No.1, I’d do that, just to spend a little bit more time with her.

“The offer is there. I’d have a go with Edith but I’m not looking for any serious singing career, even if I finished first which I don’t think I will.

“We could do Ebony And Ivory or Islands In The Stream.”

Now thats one Christmas single I would actually pay for!

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy: Fred Macaulay Takes Vocal Training

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy - Fred MacaulayThe Evening Times has reported that Fame Academy student, Fred Macaulay, has been taking vocal training from RSAMD’s head of vocal studies Christopher Underwood. He hopes this will help him to perform well in tonights live show on BBC One.

If Saturday nights performance was anything to go by, I think he will need all the help he can get!

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy: Rowland Rivron First To Leave

Poor Roland. He was a crap singer, but he wasn’t the worst. That prize would have to go to Miranda, who was funny but so out of tune it was painful.

Rowland found himself tonight in the bottom three with Miranda Hart and Angellica Bell. Angellica was saved by the judges and 10 out of the 11 contestants voted to save Miranda. It was actually quite uncomfortable viewing as Rowland was obviously embarrassed to be there and grew more red as more and more of his fellow singers voted for Miranda to stay.

So its goodbye to Rowland with the fake boobs…I don’t think the song choice (Stand By Your Man) did you any favours mate!

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy: Richard Parks Wants Rid Of Patrick Kielty

Fame Acadmey judge, Richard Parks, has admitted that he wishes the BBC would get rid of Patrick Kielty and he has suggested Fame Academy hopeful Fred MacAulay to take his place.

Richard said: “If we can find someone who has performed in it like Fred, and if he’s risen to the occasion and people have seen his personality, why not make the change?

“Fred has every chance of presenting Fame Academy.

“So let’s see how he does on the show because who knows what the opportunities might be.”

On the departure of Cat Deeley from the show he commented “Unfortunately Cat Deeley can’t be involved because of US commitments (she’s replaced by Claudia Winkleman) and in my view they lost the wrong one.” Meow!

Fame Academy: Fred MacAulay Can’t Sing A Note!

Fred MacAulay has revealed to The Daily Record today that his singing skills are not all they should be, and he is getting more and more worried about entering the Fame Academy mansion.

Fred revelaed that in Primary school he was kicked out of the choir for being so bad. He said:

“I must have been about nine and was at Rattray Primary School and wanted to be in the choir because there was a day trip to Perth for some singing competition.

“But I was dropped from the choir for not being good enough.

“It was a good lesson for Fame Academy because I did what every man would do in that circumstance – I burst into tears.

“I made such a fuss I got back in. I remember being on the bus.”

Like The MacDonald Brothers before him, MacAuley is placing all his hopes on the Scottish viewers.

He admitted: “There will be some blatant vote-catching by me on Saturday as I’m planning to wear a kilt. I want to fly the flag for Scotland.”

Fame Academy: Tara Palmer Tomkinson Brings Her Own Butler

How the other half live!

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy: Patrick Kielty Sounds Off At Cat Deeley

Patrick Kielty has never been one to mince his words. But he used to be quite likeable. His latest nasty tirade to The Sun about his former co host Cat Deeley left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

He told The Sun: “If she wants to make vast sums of money in one of the few countries that didn’t sign up to the trade agreement, then she doesn’t care about aid at all.

“I’m glad I’m hosting with Claudia Winkleman now.

“It’s good to be working with someone who wants to be here.

“Cat’s turned her back on us. Good luck to her and her capitalism.”

I spy a green eyed monster at work here!
