So here&#8217;s the updated post&#8230;*</p><p>It seems that we’re in for “surprises aplenty” to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the hugely successful show.</p><p>Channel 4 has announced that the housemates will encounter “shocking and unexpected” events during the week-long anniversary celebrations which start on Monday July 13th.</p><p>In their press release, Channel 4 said of the week-night shows, “Catch up on all the latest goings-on in the house.</p><p>“In the week of Big Brother’s tenth birthday, there’ll be surprises aplenty to celebrate a decade of the most talked-about TV programme of the noughties&#8221;.</p><p>And for the eviction night on Friday July 17th, they say that “a host of extravagant surprises” are in store for us and the housemates.<span id="more-13330"></span></p><p>The 9pm show’s synopsis reads, “It’s the eviction night of Big Brother 10.
