After The Only Way Is Essex star, Joey Essex, finally proposed to co-star girlfriend Sam Faiers during the last series finale, we had all started to get our hats out contemplating the first ever TOWIE wedding, but it seems we may be disappointed.

Joey and Sam kept the nation guessing for the last two series’ as to whether or not they would get engaged, but we were all delighted when, during last week’s series finale, Joey dropped to one knee after whisking Sam away for a surprise holiday in Dubai, and asked her to be Mrs Essex.

James ‘Arg’ Argent decided, in true Essex style, that the Irish holiday should be marked with a huge, champagne-filled party, to which all the cast turned up in force.

After last week’s shocking display of human cruelty, when they made an obviously very uncomfortable Joey Essex talk about his mother’s suicide, The Only Way Is Essex has yet again taken things one step too far by marching him down to her graveside for all to see.

During last Wednesday’s episode, with most of the gang out doing the Essex Shake at Darrell’s Essex club, Frankie Essex began talking to Bobby Norris about her mother’s suicide when she was just 13 years old.

Last night’s episode of The Only Way Is Essex was unusually uneventful, until the end that is, but with some scenes seemingly much more forced and scripted than ever; we have to ask ourselves have producers gone too far this series?

We have always known that whilst watching The Only Way Is Essex ‘some of what we see has been set up purely for our entertainment’, mainly because Denis Van Outen tells us so at the beginning of every episode, but whilst that usually meant watching a staged slanging match, or Joey Essex try to walk on water, last night saw things go a bit too far.

It’s a subject he doesn’t talk about much, but in tonight’s The Only Way Is Essex, Joey Essex is set to break down in tears over his mother Tina who committed suicide 12 years ago.

In the past Joey, who is dating his TOWIE co-star Sam Faiers, has always kept quiet on the subject of his mother’s death, whilst his sister, Frankie Essex, has talked openly about the moment their mother took their own life, in hope that it might help others going through similar situations.

It seems that The Only Way Is Essex star, Chloe Simms, rather liked dressing up as Barbie Girl during the recent live charity TOWIE episode, as she has had all her hair dyed blonde, as the Daily mail reports.

Fans of the hit ITV2 reality show would have seen Chloe, dressed in a skimpy pink swim suit, dancing and singing (albeit horribly) along to the 90′s Aqua hit, Barbie Girl, with the help of her BFF James ‘Diags’ Bennewith, last Monday evening.

The Only Way Is Essex star, Frankie Essex, may finally have accepted her new breasts after having them enlarged, but she insists there won’t be any more surgery for a while, especially not a bum enlargement like her cousin and co-star, Chloe Simms!

Frankie, whose brother is TOWIE favourite, Joey Essex, recently revealed that she was unhappy with the results of her recent breast enlargement op, claiming that they now seemed too big, and too fake, and regretted taking them up to a whopping 34E!

The Only Way Is Essex star, Lucy Mecklenburgh, is so terrified that her fiancée, and co-star, Mario Falcone will get up to no good on his stag do, she wants to know every detail, and wants a face-to-face meeting to issue her terms and conditions before the trip, according to Now Daily!

This revelation comes from Mario’s best man, and TOWIE co-star, Lil Chris who has said that the brunette is so worried, she wants a meeting with him to lay out some ground rules before the lads fly out to the notorious stag do location.
