Tonight MP George Galloway became the fourth person to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother House.
George emereged from the house to a chorus of boos and jeers, I am no fan of his but I had to feel a bit of pity for him, he obviously expected the public to love him. Boy was he wrong!
When asked what he thought his big moment in the house was he told Davina that he was certain it was his moment on Richard and Judy’s prime time chat show, and looked shocked to be shown the footage of his pussy cat antics with Rula.
By the end of the interview with Davina George Galloway looked uncomfortable and nervous and is obviously dreading reading what the papers and public though of his Big Brother antics.
Maybe now he has left the house the remaining housemates can live in peace without constant bullying by a mean spirited man with a HUGE ego, oh no I forgot, Pete Burns is still in there…Keep up the good work Pete!

The three nominees for eviction have been chosen, but the process will take a bit of a twist this week!
Instead of the usual one contestant being evicted this Wednesday two of the nominees will be leaving the show.
The public has a choice between Dennis Rodman, George Galloway and Chantelle Houghton. During this weeks house nominations Galloway received four votes, while his fellow nominees received three each.

The housemates have been warned at least once now about discussing nomination, but it seems that George and Preston took no notice and they faced the consequences early this morning!
Waveguide reports that
“At just after 00:05 today, George Galloway and Preston were called to the diary room in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
They were advised that they had broken the programme rules by discussing nominations and were to be given a punishment.
Unbeknown to them, their conversation was being shown to the rest of the housemates on a plasma screen.
Galloway and Preston were told they were to nominate three housemates who will be next to face the public vote for eviction. They were also asked to give their reasons.
After discussion they nominated Maggot, Rula and Traci.”

A group of Labour MPs led by Martin Salter, MP for Reading West are calling for George Galloway to be punished by the Queen as is laid out in an ancient law.
Waveguide states that anyone absenting themselves from Parliament can be “amerced” - arbitrarily punished - under the 1382 Summons to Parliament Act.
The anti-war Respect MP faces that threat if the Queen decided he has not “reasonably and honestly” excused himself.
So that is three of the current housemates that could be facing legal trouble when they leave the house. Pete for his Gorilla coat, Michael for the pool incident and now George for playing truant from parliament.
I wonder what criminal charges will face Maggot when he emerges….perhaps he could be charged with causing extreme boredom to the general public, or Chantelle could be charged for being much too blonde!

I am squeamish about old people getting it on at the best of times but to watch the ‘gorgeous’ (?) George Galloway and randy Rula Lenska pretending to be animals last night was just too much for my weak stomach!
Big Brother had set Rula a task to communicate with animals and in order to help Rula do this she and George decided to embark upon some rolepalying. George quickly transformed into Rula’s gently purring cat, licking her hands while she stroked his ears and spoke softly and lovingly to her pet.
It sounds innocent but it wasn’t. Many viewers found it gut churning and cringe worthy and George Galloway has just lost any small chance he had of winning this contest (I Hope!)

I’m no fan of Jodie Marsh. I think she is a foul mouthed slapper who went in to convince people that she wasn’t a tart and has just proved every tabloid and journalist that has ever written about her right.
However I really feel that the housmeates in this years Celebrity Big Brother are taking things a step too far. If they spent more time as a group trying to build bridges and make Jodie feel more included in the group instead of bitching and complaining ever time her back is turned, the atmosphere in the house would be much more pleasant.
Sure the girl is annoying, but each thing she does is made ten times worse by the older members of the group poring over her every word and action. They are demonising her to the point that everything she says is taken as having some hidden meaning or point. To be fair to Jodie I don’t think she puts as much thought into what she says and does as they are giving her credit for.
Jodie was doing a good enough job of making the public hate her before George, Michael and Pete turned on her. All they are achieving now is winning her a sympathy vote from those who feel she is being victimised. For three and supposedly intelligent grown men of the world they are acting like a pack of bitchy 16 year old girls at the minute!

I’ve often watched the Big brother show and thought how much I would love to thump one of the housemates.
Never more so than after I watched Jodie making a fool of herself tonight. She wonders why the British public think she is a slapper…well thats an easy one! That would be because she talks and acts like a complete tart. Her language is filthy (and believe me I’m no old fuddy duddy!). She’s exactly the sort of girl that all the lads want to sleep with but no one wants to marry!
Anyway rant over. If you would like to pack George Galloway, Michael Barrymore or Jodie Marsh a punch then I reckon this website is the closest you are ever going to get.
Have a go, i know I enjoyed it!

I came across a great post today on the Politics Watch Blog.
The writers there drew my attention to a fact that hadn’t yet crossed my mind, not only is George Galloway getting a fee from appearing in Big Brother, but every day he is there he is also earning an MPs salary paid for by US!
People feel so strongly about this waste of public resources that some kind soul has even set up a website that estimates exactly how much George Galloways holiday is costing us.
Now I don’t know about you, but I certainly could think of better things to do with my money than pay that chancer to sit on his bum for two weeks oogling Jodie Marsh.

Polly Hudson in the Mirror always gives a hilarious review of the current Reality TV show and she certainly didn’t disappoint when it came to Celebrity Big Brother 2006.
I love her description of Jodie Marsh as “likely to be the new McCririck with tighter pants.” and her view on George Galloways entry is “he says he’s in “to show a large and different audience what I’m really like”. This member of the large and different audience wishes he’d stayed home instead.”
Hilarious!

If like me you have been wondering who the people in Celebrity Big Brother are, and just why they are called celebrities, then have a look at this article in The Guardian. It has a great summary about each housemate and their road to fame!
