I’m A Celebrity star George Hamilton has claimed that the camp mates asked permission from ITV bosses, before they killed and ate a rat.
Gino D’Acampo and Stuart Manning have since been charged with animal cruelty and will appear in court next February, but Hamilton claims that the blame really lies with I’m A Celebrity producers.
George Hamilton has predicted that things will get nasty in the I’m A Celebrity jungle over the last few days of the competition. As the battle heats up and winning is in the camp mates grasp, George thinks that the stars may start to turn on one another.
George told The Sun: “People are going to turn against each other and I don’t want to be a part of it. I didn’t want to become the kind of guy who needed to be mean to win.
George Hamilton has admitted that he left I’m A Celebrity jungle, as he was starting to worry for his health.
George’s girlfriend had begged him not to take part in the show as she worried that it would make him sick. George told The Sun that he began to think she had a point saying:
“I felt so low physically that I wanted to lie down all the time.

Sadly, we’re shedding a tear here at Unreality TV as George Hamilton made good on his threat to quit the jungle. We all loved George and he was one of our favourites for the final… I wonder if that’s why they didn’t kick anybody out yesterday.
The show opens with some emotional departure scenes, and then goes back to the earlier rumblings from George about leaving. Kim tells Justin that George is thinking of going, and Justin thoughtfully shares this with the rest of the contestants.
In the Bush Telegraph, George tells us that he’s decided that he doesn’t want to compete against his friends in the camp. He reveals this to the campmates, and Stuart emotionally tells him that he’ll be missed. The celebrity tributes come pouring in. It’s really touching to see the bond that the celebrities have forged in the last couple of weeks. Normally, I’d be cynical about it, but George seems to have made his decision for a noble reason.
Though a sobbing Justin pushed it a little far with “And that’s why he’s George Hamilton…” Don’t be surprised if Justin starts a wee cult around Hamilton Worship.
Hollywood star George Hamilton has quit ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.
With only five days to go until the show’s final, george has become the third person to walk off the show. He follows dancer Camilla Dallerup and glamour model Katie Price.
George threatened to quit on last night’s show, saying that he didn’t want to take the chance of winning away from a younger celebrity.
On tonight’s I’m A Celebrity, George Hamilton admitted that he is thinking of leaving the show.
Talking to Kim Woodburn, George said: “Here’s the thing, I’m going to tell you what I’m thinking, they’re people who are starting careers, I’m at point where this is fun to do, I’m not going to go head to head, so I’m thinking about leaving, pulling out tomorrow.”
Kim “You’ll do what? You can’t leave.”
I’m A Celebrity camp mate George Hamilton was given the chance to call his girlfriend after the celebrities successfully won a Treasure Hunt challenge.
A laminate brought into camp contained a clue to find a scroll hidden in camp, each scroll led to the next clue until they found the buried treasure.
Yesterday, all the I’m A Celebrity camp mates were asked to speed date George Hamilton, who then chose his favourite date.
Joe was first to visit George in his caravan and was asked by the Hollywood star if he had come to see him or to take him out. Joe said: “I’m a cheapskate; you have to take me out. I want to know how much money you have, I want a rich bloke.”
I’m A Celebrity camp mates George Hamilton and Justin Ryan got up to their elbows in sardine guts yesterday, as they went to retrieve the Celebrity Chest.
Arriving at the site of where they were to retrieve the Chest, the two campmates read the laminate: ‘Three of these fish have swallowed a key, crack them open and set them free.’
Whilst resting in the I’m A Celebrity jungle camp, TV chef Gino D’Acampo discovered a tick on his neck. Gino and his pal George Hamilton went straight to Dr Bob to have it removed. While they were there George thought he had a tick on his bottom and pulled down his shorts for Bob to have a close up inspection. ‘I have this feeling I have one (a tick) on my ass I haven’t dealt with it.’
