ITV Bosses are reportedly planning to celebrate the show’s tenth anniversary by making an Ultimate Jungle camp and including some of the shows most memorable camp mates.

The channel is keen to run with the all-star concept but it has been reported that they are having a difficult time convincing the personalities, as many have deep issues with other celebrities being considered for the show.

Possible campmates so far include Gillian McKeith, Janice Dickinson and Katie Price, although it it is thought to be very unlikely that Gillian would put herself through that again, after facing every fear a human could possibly have in her brief stay last year.

Other past celebrities have expressed an interest in joining the lineup, but none of them without proviso’s. Kerry Katona has reportedly said that she would be interested in doing it, especially if Peter Andre or Joe Swash take part, but only if Katie Price does NOT.

Of course, from a public morbid fascination point of view, the whole world will be waiting with baited breath to see if ITV bosses could manage to get Katie Price and Peter Andre to sign up, we might have ourselves another Preston and Chantelle situation?

Gillian McKeith is determined to keep her public profile high and what better way to do that than to land a place on another reality TV show.

The ‘You Are What You Eat’ presenter had found herself in a bit of a career wilderness until she joined the lineup for I’m A Celebrity…..Get Me Out Of Here! last year. She may have become hated and reviled but at least she’s being noticed and now she wants to try her hand at another ITV show.

McKeith told The Daily Star:

“I just want people to see the real me and I don’t know if that has come across yet.

“I would definitely be open to doing another reality show.

“Maybe Dancing On Ice. I’m a good dancer and I can skate actually.”

However, she added that maybe she’d be safer on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

She laughed:

“I prefer dancing on the floor – it’s less dangerous – so maybe Strictly.”

However, while he was in the jungle, Shaun only admitted to having had one fantasy about Gillian, and that of drowning her in the pool.

Nonetheless, Gillian said, “He [Shaun] came up to me at the end and told me that he really liked me and that I was really sexy.

“He has a very nice side. But there is this other side and I think that there’s something about me that triggers something in him that isn’t good.”

Gillian later criticised Alison Hammond for her claims that Gillian’s fainting episodes were faked.

Dom Joly thinks Gillian McKeith “behaved very selfishly” on ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of Here!’.

The comedian – who arrived in camp four days after the rest of the contestants – is not surprised the public continued to vote for the TV nutritionist to take part in trials because of her attention-seeking antics on the show.

He said: “Everybody was quite open and friendly, and I was quickly filled in about the ‘Gillian situation’.

“It turned out that Dr. Gillian McKeith – a woman famous for analysing people’s stools on television and not being a doctor- was afraid of everything.

“The public had smelt fear and, like a bloodthirsty crowd at the Coliseum, was baying for blood.

“Gillian didn’t help herself. She had a medical excuse for everything and behaved very selfishly around the camp. My favourite fact about her was that her husband had been unable to join her poor children in Australia… because he had a phobia of flying.”

Despite not getting along with Gillian, Dom bonded with his other campmates and was delighted former ‘X Factor’ finalist Stacey Solomon was crowned Queen of the Jungle as he had tipped her to win from the moment he joined the show.

He told The Independent newspaper: “The first person I saw when I entered it was Gillian McKeith, who stared at me with sullen, hostile eyes. Others were more friendly – I recognised Stacy Solomon, the sweet girl from ‘The X Factor’, and adored her straight away. She was very welcoming and made me feel at home.

“As usual, the public got it right. From the moment I met her I was sure Stacey Solomon was the winner. She was truly a freak of nature – a lovely, funny, gifted person who managed to dissolve all my inner cynicism within seconds.”

Gillian McKeith has admitted that she DID fake her faints in the jungle.

The ‘You Are What You Eat’ star – who became notorious for her reluctance to take part in Bushtucker Trials on this year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!’ – told fellow contestant Alison Hammond she “had to” faint to escape taking part in the gruesome tasks she was subjected to on the ITV1 show.

Alison said: “I’m not an uncaring person, but it was hard not to giggle when Gillian fainted. I was so pleased because it meant we were going to eat.

“But when I told her afterwards that I was glad she fainted, she just said, ‘I had to’. If you want to call that faking it, then so be it.”

The TV presenter – who first shot to fame after appearing in ‘Big Brother’ in 2002 – also confessed she suspected Gillian was making up her many phobias.

She told Reveal magazine: “It seems like things she did were premeditated. Gillian’s daughters knew the Jungle Gill song before she even sang it on the show, yet she said she made it up as she went along.

“She also knew to hide seasoning in her pants, yet she claimed she’d never seen the show before.”

Gillian McKeith claims she was “TV gold” during her time in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.

The TV nutritionist left the ITV1 show on Monday night, with her eviction attracting 10.6 million viewers and since her departure ratings have gone down, something Gillian believes is down to her not being in the jungle.

She said: “I thought ratings would go down now that I’ve gone. Somebody has said that I was TV gold and I think I was.”

Gillian – who fainted twice on the show and had an irrational fear of most things – claims producers gave her little airtime once viewers could no longer vote for her to do Bushtucker Trials.

She added to the Daily Star newspaper: “I think they stopped voting for me when I stopped doing the trials. They didn’t see me enough on the show, so they stopped picking up their phones. People wanted to see me to trials.”

I’m A Celebrity reject Gillian McKeith thinks that viewers voted for her to do numerous Bushtucker Trials, because she was “entertaining”.

The ‘You Are What You Eat’ star was voted off the ITV show on Monday night and admitted that she knew her constant screaming and fainting in the face of hair raising trials, would make the experience more “interesting”, as the other contestants are “dull”.

She said: “Viewers voted for me because I am interesting. They love seeing someone scream or faint at trials. They don’t just want to see someone go through the motions. They want entertainment.

“They don’t want dull people.”

The ‘You Are What You Eat’ star also confessed she thought she would be living in a plush hotel – rather than the Australian jungle – when she first agreed to take part in the show.

Gillian added to the Daily Star newspaper: “I thought I’d be swinging in a hammock with a hunky actor from ‘EastEnders’ tending to me. I wanted a break. Australia sounded good. The weather is nice and I figured this could be the break I needed.

“When I landed in Australia and I discovered that it was a little different to what I was expecting, I started to get worried. To be honest, I didn’t think we were camping in the jungle. I thought you needed a tent to camp.

“I thought we did the jungle thing during the day, but then sleep in a hotel.”

Jenny Éclair is convinced that former I’m A Celebrity camp mate Gillian McKeith is a witch, as the You Are What You Eat presenter correctly predicted that she would leave the jungle.

The presenter had packed her bag and got herself all prepared to go and even told Aggro that she had left the insect repellent on her bed for him.

Jenny later said, “She packed her bags, she had her coat ready, she’s a witch…she knew when she was going.”

Once the announcement had been made that Gillian would be leaving camp, a thrilled Shaun said “what a good choice public, I love the public. The public made the right decision, the public are so fair and good and decent.”

As she prepared to leave Shaun and Gillian shook hands and they all made their way to send her off as she crossed the bridge.

Linford shouted “Don’t faint across the bridge.”

A thrilled Shaun declared, “I’m so relieved she’s gone…all fair in love and hate,”

Later Shaun commented, “It was wonderful to say goodbye to Gillian, absolutely great. I thought the public made the right decision. The public are very intelligent, wise.”

He continued, “I’m glad it was Gillian that went, personally for me, pure selfishness, couldn’t have been better.”

A grinning Shaun’s happy mood which included singing and dancing, was noted by all the camp mates. Stacey commented, “Shaun is as happy as Larry. I don’t know if its just cause Gillian’s gone but he’s had a really good morning and I think he’s going to have a really good day today. Singing, dancing, smiling, that’s the Shaun we know and love.”

I’m A Celebrity reject Lembit Opik has defended Gillian McKeith, saying that she didn’t fake her fainting fits.

The former Liberal Democrat MP said that he thinks the ‘You Are What You Eat’ star was incorrectly accused of pretending to have phobias and revealed that he chatted about the issue with Gillian after she was eliminated from the ITV show yesterday.

Speaking on Daybreak, Opik said: “I actually cross questioned her this afternoon as I have been quite a defender of hers and I’ll tell you now live on British television that I think Gillian McKeith is innocent and she wasn’t faking it.”

On what his career plans are for the future, Opik added:

“I had thinking time and that’s what I needed between what I did before in parliament and whatever I do next,” he said. “No reasonable job offer refused! If anyone is looking for someone who can keep a camp in good order, I’m looking for work – give me a break!”

Britt Ekland has blasted her former I’m A celebrity campmate Gillian McKeith, saying that she wants nothing to do with the star.

The former Bond girl endured three weeks in the jungle with the dramatic star and now has refused to even take her email address, saying:

“I think she has been so incredibly appalling that I won’t take her email address. I won’t have anything to do with her.”

Speaking to The Sun, Britt continued to criticise Gillian, blasting her for being “fake” and a taker. She continued:

“I found her behaviour and lack of knowledge about the show absolutely astounding for a professional woman. She is a fake – a bloody good fake but a bloody annoying one.”

“Gillian wasn’t a team player. I understand saying no to the trials but she didn’t have the skills to cope.

“She didn’t want to share, she didn’t want to give, she only took.”

Saying that taking part in the reality TV show was the ‘toughest thing’ she has ever done, Ekland added that the small food portions and bad weather took their toll on her health. She said:

“I started a diet to prepare myself for the show. I also did a lot of weight training and pilates. When I went in I was in top physical form, but at one point I didn’t eat for 24 hours. I lost a massive amount of weight. I felt all my strength had gone.

“It was very wet and cold in there. It was the toughest thing I have ever done.”
