Gordon Ramsay has revealed that he had a very close call after plunging off a 280ft high cliff in Iceland whilst filming for his TV show, ‘The F Word’.
Gordon told The Sun last night: “I thought I was a goner.
“They say cats have nine lives. I’ve had 12 already and I don’t know how many more I’ll have.
“I remember thinking, ‘Oh f***’. My boots and my waterproofs were dragging me down.
“I’m an extremely good swimmer, but I couldn’t get to the surface. I was panicking and my lungs were filling with water.
“When I got to the top after getting my boots off I was dazed and my head was totally numb.”
When he didn’t emerge for 45 seconds the TV crew threw him a rope and pulled him to safety. Read more & comment »

Gordon Ramsay has revealed that he plans to turn his back on a massive TV career, and emigrate to Australia, where he will open just one restaurant.
The star of F Word and Kitchen Nightmares told The Sun: “I want to quit while ahead and move on. I’m 41 — how long can I go at this pace?

The Sun has reported that Gordon Ramsay reportedly ate a conteastants thumb on Hell’s Kitchen USA.
The cook sliced the tip of his thumb whilst preparing a dish and then left the kitchen to get it dressed. Unknown to him, his fellow chefs fried the thumb along with the rest of the meat and served it to Ramsay as part of a challenge.
When Gordon, 41, realised, he said: “Oh God – finger pancetta.” But he didn’t stop the challenge and sampled the dish, saying: “It tastes weird.”

Gordon Ramsay blasted Delia Smith on GMTV last Friday, saying he was ‘insulted’ by her lazy cooking.
“You know, it’s really hard for me because she was an icon,” Said Ramsay. “She removed all that intimidation out of food, gave the nation an amazing amount of joy for years, and you know it’s a real insult now. So more than anything I’m frustrated that we have to teach the nation to cook from a tin – tinned mince. Tined mince! So I’m insulted and I share that view with a lot of top chefs in this country that are fed up with that level of laziness.”

Hell’s Kitchen star, Gordon Ramsay has revealed that next year’s London Marathon will be the last one he runs.
Ramsay completed his ninth marathon yesterday in central London in just three hours and forty five minutes.
He told the Daily Star: “I always said I’d do ten for the charities, so next year is the last one.
“There were thousands of people who came out – they were fantastic. As I was coming over Tower Bridge, someone shouted, ‘Run, fat boy, run’ – I don’t know if they were talking to me.”

Celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, has revealed that he tried to get ‘Posh Spice’, Victoria Beckham to appear on his last series of Hell’s Kitchen USA.
Ramsay told Access Hollywood: “I thought about having Victoria on as one of the ladies from Beverly Hills in [a] cooking lesson.
“She decided to tour with the Spice Girls. It was a shame because we missed each other by literally a week, otherwise…it would [have been] quite nice to see her attending one of the cooking classes in the kitchen with me breathing down her neck.”
Gordon also shed some light on his friendship with the Beckhams saying: “They’re great foodies. Victoria eats…in a very healthy manner, nothing over-drizzled with olive oil, fat, cream or butter and things lightly steamed. Read more & comment »

Celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay has offered to teach his pal David Beckham how to hone his cooking skills.
He told the Daily Star: “David absolutely loves his food. You’d be surprised, but Victoria’s a real foodie too. David has mentioned a few times he would love to be able to cook properly.
“I think he could be very good and I wouldn’t hesitate to give him a helping hand in the kitchen.”
A source said: “Apart from cooking, one of Gord’s favourite things is helping others improve their cooking skills. He knows David loves his grub – and he loves entertaining when he’s not on the football pitch or working out. Read more & comment »

Robbie Williams and his friend Max Beesley are said to be considering appearing on a celebrity version of Gordon Ramsays hit cookery TV show, Ramsay Kitchen Nightmares.
The Sun has reported that the pair will go into a failing restaurant and try to turn it around under the watchful eye, and foul mouth of super chef, Gordon Ramsay.
