Last night’s fish and chip supper and letters from home meant that the Big Brother housemates were all in a good mood, and of course, that couldn’t last long…

As the evening wore on, a row kicked off between Bea, Marcus and Charlie, and – for a change, not – it was all about Bea’s negativity, or as she argued, her “intimidation” at the hands of, primarily, Freddie.

It all started when Siavash and Freddie were yet again discussing how Bea is “playing a game” by making friends of Lisa and David. They never tire of it do they??

Later on, Marcus felt behoved to add his twopennorth and he told Bea that she needs to “think” before she says anything and that she should stop being nasty to Halfwit. He also said that as far as he can see, Siavash is at the heart of every row in the house…

While all that was going on, Halfwit went to the diary room and told BB that he was much happier but added that Bea was “unattractive” now. He also reported that he plans to “emotionally phase Bea out” of his life. And in yet another stroke of absolute arrogance, he told Big Brother that he was “100% positive” that he wouldn’t be evicted tomorrow night.

Later, when everyone else was in bed, Bea, Charlie and Marcus sat up and yet again picked at the scab of their earlier argument with Marcus telling Bea that she “may not like what the viewers think” of her.

This set off yet more heated exchanges that resulted in a fair amount of yelling before Bea went to the diary room to have a cry and a rant. All the hoohar brought Halfwit almost running out of the bedroom only to find himself on the wrong end of Charlie’s sharp tongue. He told Freddie that he should stop interfering and stop going on about game plans and schemes… change of record required there too then.

It all ended when Marcus told Halfwit he should go back to bed or it would look bad on him while Charlie ranted that Halfwit was “laughing at Bea.” Oh dear…

It’s a battle of the titans in the house this week, with Marcus and Halfwit both up for eviction, but who do you want to see doing the walk of shame on Friday?

Both housemates took the news fairly well and David was just delighted that his name wasn’t called by Big Brother when the results of this week’s nominations were revealed.

After BB announced that Marcus and Halfwit were facing the boot, David screamed out,

“Is that it?!”

To his evident joy, that was indeed it, so he and Lisa, along with new pal Bea, all headed out to the garden for a cigarette.

“I feel happy now” David told Bea and Lisa.

“You never know with this game” said Lisa, yet again stating the glaringly obvious.

It’s going to be a tough one to call this week because both Marcus and Halfwit are of course very strong characters, so let us know who you’ll be voting for – we’re allowed to discuss it now, Big Brother says so.

Media reports today indicate that Big Brother bosses could be about to launch an investigation following viewer complaints that Sree had “taunted” fellow housemate Freddie about being dyslexic.

The incident occurred when Sree and Freddie got into a row over Sree’s use of garlic last week. During their row, Sree said, “You’re a dyslexic student from Oxford. “What’s 15 times 15?”

Following their many rows, Lisa and Halfwit have made up this morning, as he predicated they would.

“I don’t dislike you and I don’t envy you because your family are rich” Lisa told Halfwit in the garden.

“No, I know” replied Halfwit.

“Sometimes people are scared to approach me” said Lisa, adding, “but I’m probably one of the softest people in the House”

Soft? Erm, ok, if you say so, scary skinhead lady.

“You wanna be careful with the acid tongue though” said Halfwit who it seems isn’t bothered whether he lives or dies…

“That is my protection” Lisa explained.

“It’s quite an intimidating kind of protection…” replied Halfwit.

“It’s just because I’m a loud person” said Lisa, quietly, adding, “I haven’t spoken to anybody [about you]. That upset me.”

Perhaps she’s forgotten the millions of times she’s spoken about him to other people…

“Can I explain?” said Halfwit. “It’s so difficult in this house because it’s hard to think straight. I wanted to explain how I felt. I didn’t intend to start an argument.”

“I think we’re probably reading you wrong because you don’t smile” said Lisa who again, seems to be struggling with memory issues because Halfwit’s Cheshire Cat grin is world renowned…

Halfwit then told Lisa, “Today, openness is going to a new level for me!” to which she replied,

“You’re not a nasty guy. You haven’t got a bad bone in your body. Your approach is good. I see that.”

“I’m chilled but it’s not from a place of weakness at all” said Halfwit. “I choose to be that way.”

Doing the shopping list has rarely been a time for harmony and peace in the house, but this year – so far – it’d all gone pretty smoothly. Too smoothly possibly and today, things erupted shopping list styly, big time, as many of the housemates might say, like.

No details of what caused the row are available yet but we do know that Marcus got so riled up that BB had to call him into the diary room to calm down, and quelle surprise, it seems Sree was involved somewhere.

And while Marcus was off on his enforced calm down, Halfwit decided to analyse his actions…

“Marcus is not generally an aggressive person, but he does have this very strong view that there are good people and bad people in the world.”

And by the sounds of it, some bad people were trying to shop…

“If you fall into the bad person category in Marcus’s world, then he won’t be so polite to you and he won’t be respectful to you” he continued… and continued.

“To Marcus’s credit, he doesn’t draw the line arbitrarily – it’s not just people he likes and dislikes, it’s according to his moral standards.

“Personally, I don’t agree. I don’t think there are just good people and bad people in the world – I think there are shades of grey.” So possibly aliens wound Marcus up?

He wasn’t done yet by the way…

“The more you understand people the harder it is to make harsh judgements.

“To know all is to forgive all” he – finally – concluded doing a fair impression of God. He may not be omnipotent but, hey, he gets around man.

Bookies across the land are predicting that Sree will be evicted on Friday.

Irish bookies Paddy Power are offering odds of 1/50 on Sree staying and 10/1 on Halfwit remaining in the house after Friday’s eviction show.

A spokesman for Paddy Power reckons that it’s Sree’s whining that’s put us all off him and he added that he’s “absolutely certain” that Sree will be voted off the show this week…

If that happens, Halfwit will be victorious for the fourth time in a row. Will it go to his head I wonder or will he realise that so far, he’s probably only stayed because we dislike who he’s up against more than we dislike him!

Who’s getting your vote this week?

Following on from Lisa and Halfwit’s row yesterday, Karly added her opinion to the debacle when Halfwit rather unwisely asked her what she thought about it all…

He asked her to explain what she thinks is the difference between a good gameplan and a bad gameplan. If I’d been there, I’d have said to him, “Havers mon, are ye touched in the heed?!” because he’s already riled Karly up earlier in the day during their singing practice.

Anyway, he said, “The bad gameplans are the ones which are designed to make certain people look bad and make people fight amongst themselves.

“Dude, if I had a gameplan like that, do you think I’d be up for eviction four weeks in a row?”

“A gameplan to me is a gameplan, and that’s just it” replied Karly.

“You’re a smart girl though…” whined Halfwit.

“Exactly!” said Karly, getting more het up by the second.

“Just because I’m intelligent doesn’t mean to say I’m gonna agree with you. I’m intelligent and I’m clever and I’ve got my own mind, so I can think whatever the hell I want to think!”

Halfwit should be now have been running for the hills but instead, added, “You can, but…”

“I’m my own person!” Karly interrupted.

Halfwit then offered a return volley on the subject of trust…

“The people who are really untrustworthy in here have kept very quiet about the subject of gameplans” he said as Karly stared at him.

“You ken what I mean?” Halfwit said, seemingly trying to speak Karly’s language.

“Honestly I’ve just not got any more energy for this any more. It does my head in.”

“It does my head in too” agreed Halfwit. “My thoughts become a prison but honestly Karly, I’m really trustworthy, honest and open.

“Anything I’ve said to people behind their backs I’ve also said to their face. Anybody who didn’t trust me in here, when they come out of here will see that.”

Deary me… it’s like an action replay every year isn’t it?

Just as everything seemed quiet on the Western front – or Italian front – Lisa overheard Halfwit telling Charlie that he didn’t think she liked him much, and she doesn’t it seems.

“There are elements of this that are just nasty” Halfwit said to Charlie, to which he replied, “I don’t see nastiness from the people in here. No one doesn’t like you” he added, somewhat insincerely since he knows his best buddy Kris wouldn’t pee on Halfwit if he was on fire.

“I don’t think Lisa likes me” said Halfwit as Lisa walked up behind him.

“I don’t think you like me, Freddie” she said, hackles rising nicely and fake facial hair a’wobbling.

“I dislike you scheming against me and bitching behind my back” said Halfwit, taking his life in his hands…

“I’m not bitching against you and I’m not scheming against you, so you wanna get that out your head.

“I don’t know where you’re getting that from” she ranted, adding, “You’re paranoid. You’re not a fool. You’re playing the victim of the house.”

Well, that lit Halfwit’s blue touch paper…

“I’m playing the victim?!” he spluttered. “You’re the source of the reason why a lot of people don’t like me and don’t trust me.”

“I do like you, you can just be aggravating!” shouted Lisa back at him. “I’m allowed to have my opinion in the house” she yelled, adding, “I’ll tell you something; you don’t like me, I don’t like you, so I’ll tell you what, let’s not talk to each other.”

by that time, several of the others had gathered to watch the fireworks and Karly decided to add her twopennorth.

“Maybe it’s to do with the fact that you told people in here you’ve got a gameplan. Have you thought of that?”

Halfwit didn’t get much chance to respond while everyone else debated his gameplan.

“He’s gonna make out he’s the victim in this” Kris announced then told everyone they should just leave it.

“We’re not talking to you Freddie. We’re not talking to you Freddie. We’re not talking to you Freddie” he repeated in truly adult style as he stalked away.

Once everyone had shuffled off, Halfwit told a bemused Charlie, “My gameplan was to have as much fun as possible.”

“You single yourself out from everyone else” Charlie told him by way of response. “You don’t interact with the group.”

A fed up looking Halfwit sighed, “Certain people want somebody to take a fall here, because if somebody takes a fall, that means they don’t get nominated.”

Oh dear… I bet they’re not going to let that one lie.

The housemates were told last night that Sree and Halfwit are up for eviction this week. Halfwit wasn’t in the least bit surprised but it seems Sree was very shocked.

However, he’s confident that he’s not going to be the one to go. In a diary room visit following BB’s announcement, he said he was “200% positive” that he’s going nowhere.

In the main house, the others were talking about why they thought Sree had been nominated with Marcus and Halfwit coming to the conclusion it was because Sree’s irritating and he never listens to anything anyone else says…

However, Kris told Halfwit that he’s the one who’s annoying and added that he thinks he’s patronising, to which Halfwit replied that he and Kris just hadn’t “bonded”. Halfwit also said that he thought people were voting for him because he was “a tactical vote”. Kris wasn’t having any of and insisted it was only because Freddie’s annoying.

So who do you want to see the back of this week? My vote’s going to Sree.

Yesterday the housemates were struggling with the heat in their rather lavish costumes which are part of the Italy task.

Karly, Rodrigo and Halfwit were dressed up as the Three Tenors for which the trio had to wear fat-suits with Halfwit’s being the fattest for his role as Pavarotti. And he especially sweltered with a big false face beard.

The music started and all three sung their hearts out, really wowing the audience of housemates; Lisa and Charlie looked like they might cry as the tenors warbled, while Noirin looked like she’d sat on a nettle and Sree just appeared to be confused. Here’s a clip from the performance…

Once the performance was over, the housemates threw roses at the performers but Karly wasn’t sure it’d gone well.

“I’m sure the music was different” she said, adding, “Hopefully we’ll get it though, basing it on how much we practised and everything.”

I’m sure the real Three Tenors always say the same after their shows. Not.
