Mia and The Moon were one of the groups featured in the early stages of The X Factor, however when the bootcamp roudns came along, the girls were barely seen.
They have explained their disappearance from the show, revealing that they walked away from the chance to make judges houses because they believed the show is fake and not at all ‘real.’
The duo told This is Leicestershire that producers were desperate for them to stay on the show and were keen for them to proceed with the judges, but they had ‘had enough’ and confessed:
“When we decided we’d had enough, we were literally seconds away from finding out who was going through to the next round. The producers were chasing us down the street and trying to stop us getting into the taxi – they said we were making the biggest mistake of our lives.”

On tonight’s X Factor show, viewers will become aware that there is a problem brewing backstage for contestants Hayley Evetts and Nicola-Marie.
On the first night of bootcamp the girls were grouped together with Tammy Cartwright and told they would be performing as a trio for the judges. However, just before their performance, Tammy was nowhere to be seen having decided to leave the competition for personal reasons.

This weekend’s Xtra Factor looks set to be packed full formerly famous talent show contestants.
We have already reported that former Big Brother star Stephanie McMichael – who also took part in Pop Stars: The Rivals alongside former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole – will be seen auditioning as part of girl group ‘Poisonous Twin’ and we can also reveal that former Pop Idol finalist Hayley Evetts will also be featured on the ITV2 show.

Most people would find it the ultimate insult to be called a cross between Cher and Pete Burns, but X Factor hopeful Collagen Westwood was left thrilled when Louis Walsh made the comparison!
Before her audition, the 22-year-old revealed: to The Sun newspaper: “Collagen is not my birth name but it feels more me because I love big lips and I have big lips.
