Hayley Tamaddon has claimed that viewers will be ‘shocked’ by Sam Attwater’s solo routine on Sunday’s Dancing On Ice.

Immediately after last weeks live show, Johnson Beharry, Laura Hamilton, Chloe Madeley and Sam were told by mentors Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean they must choreograph and plan a full routine themselves and then perform it alone on Sunday.

Speaking on This Morning, Hayley tipped Sam as having the best routine and told Ruth Langsford:

I think we are going to see a good one from Sam for definite. He is so strong on his blades and I think his solo routine is going to shock us. Sam he just needs to keep doing what he does.

Hayley also commented on the fact that Sam found himself in the bottom two for the first time last week, all because he dropped his hat during the routine. She said:

He was amazing on his blades but he was in third place last week. So he is competing with the girls now. He said to me afterwards, “I caught the hat with two hands because there was no way I was going to lose it again.”

And Tamaddon doesn’t think we should write the former Eastenders star off just yet. He may have been in the bottom two last Sunday but he’s still bookies’ favourite to win. She added:

He’s still the bookies favourite though, so the girls are on his tail a bit even though their scores were higher than his last week.

Hayley Tamaddon has agreed with the public and the judge’s decision to eliminate Denise Welch from Dancing On Ice last night.

The Loose Women star found herself in the bottom two with Johnson Beharry on yesterday’s show, despite having her earlier scores doubled after performing as part of winning Team Laura. After skating well in the skate off, the judges still unanimously chose to send Denise home and speaking on This Morning today former show winner Hayley said they made the right choice.

She explained:

It’s a shame that she had to leave but I do think the public made the right choice last night.

Speaking about the challenge and the fact that after Denise, Laura Hamilton and Jeff Brazier has their scores doubled, Tamaddon added:

You never know with the scores, when they tipped them upside down, were the public going to save their favourite person or the best skaters? Everyone backstage was so worried that it would be a Chloe and Sam skate-off.

But Team Denzy fans shouldn’t despair, you will see your girl on the ice again. Welch only gets a week off before she has to start rehearsing for the nationwide tour and she’ll be popping back for the series final later this month. Hayley added:

We haven’t seen the last of her because she’s coming on tour with me. So, in actual fact she’s only got about a week off because she’s got to start training again. So that’s great for her.

Hayley Tamaddon has admitted that Chloe Madeley had a bit of a “meltdown” while rehearsing for Dancing On Ice last week.

The former Emmerdale actress, who won last year’s series of the ITV show, revealed on This Morning that the ‘Ultimate Skills Test’ made Chloe so nervous that she was in tears before Sunday’s live show.

“The tension really mounted this week and everyone felt it,” Hayley explained.

“Chloe had a real meltdown with her confidence. She was in tears with me yesterday. I was telling her that she was great at what she is doing.”

Tamaddon said that Madeley struggles with her confidence, believing that other celebrities are much more skilled than her on the rink.

“She said that it makes it harder for her watching everyone else skate. But she is fantastic and I told her that.”

Tamaddon also revealed that the rows between Chloe and her partner Michael Zenezini weren’t the only ones that occurred behind the scenes.

“They are not the only two arguing,” she added “There was a lot of tension this week.”

Hayley Tamaddon thinks that Sam Attwater may have felt pressured to pretend he was in a relationship with his skating parter Brianne Delcourt.

The Dancing On Ice duo had claimed to be dating but after pictures were released of Sam kissing another skater last week, many suspect the whole romance was a ruse.

Talking about the whole furore, former series winner Hayley Tamaddon told The Sun’s Buzz magazine:

“I think he may have felt pressured into saying there were together…You’re under a lot of pressure to stay in the competition and he’s obviously not used to having to be so careful with what he says.”

Hayley hosts the backstage action ITV.com and insisted there was nothing but support for Sam in the studio adding:

“None of us really know what did or didn’t happen…I think he’ll definitely learn from this experience.”

Jeff Brazier on ITV's Dancing On Ice

Hayley Tamaddon has admitted that although Jeff Brazier is the bookies favourite to leave Dancing On Ice this Sunday, she thinks he will avoid the chop.

The former series winner was chatting with Gethin Jones and Gloria Hunniford on This Morning, when she revealed that the TV presenter has been working on his dance moves for the upcoming live show. When asked who she thinks will be eliminated next, Hayley said:

I don’t think it will be Jeff. He was in the bottom two last week but he’s been to dance class this week to get in training for his routine, which apparently is looking great.

Sharing some gossip on what else we can expect to see from the stars on Sunday, Tamaddon added:

Denise Welch has got the fastest routine in the world and she’s felt sick all week with dizziness. Hopefully she’ll get over that on Sunday.

Vanilla Ice has got a technical routine this week and also quite sensual. Him and Katie get on really well so their rapport is brilliant on the ice.

Johnson has four lifts. Amazing lifts in his routine this week. He started off not being able to do any lifts , so four in one routine is amazing.

ITV have confirmed some of the lineup for this year’s Dancing On Ice Tour.

The news was revealed by former show winner Hayley Tamaddon on This Morning today. She told Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that Chloe Madeley, Laura Hamilton, Sam Attwater, Comedy Dave, Johnson Beharry would all be taking part when the show hits the road. More names will be announced later in the series.

Better than all this was the news that Kerry Katona will NOT be joining her co-stars. She is too busy filming for her new ITV2 reality TV show and on her decision to opt out of the tour, the mum of four admitted:

I’ve declined the tour. I’ve got four kids to look after.

Taking Kerry’s place at Daniel Whiston’s side will be Hayley Tamaddon. She and Dan skated to victory on last year’s series of the ITV show and also performed together on the 2010 tour.

Jason Gardiner has avoided being sacked from Dancing On Ice, after his spat with Karen Gardiner last weekend and two women happy with ITV’s decision are Gaynor Faye and Hayley Tamaddon.

Both actresses have starred on the reality TV show and speaking on This Morning, agreed that the show would be boring without the caustic comments of their favourite fashionable judge.

Former Coronation Street star Gaynor, who won the show in 2006, was chatting with Eamonn Holmes about the recent furore, trying not to refer to Jason in person in case they caused any offence. When asked the judges should be forced to be pleasant and complimentary all the time, she said:

I hope not to be honest with you because that would make the show quite boring. It needs to have constructive criticism and it’s just the way you say it….you know I love the person that you’re talking about. He’s fabulous and some of things he says I agree with, some I don’t but it’s just the way he says it.

Hayley Tamaddon, who also won the show in 2010, added:

Without him it would be a very dull show.

The Dancing On Ice contestants will all skate to Vegas themed tunes on Sunday’s live show and Hayley Tamaddon has revealed that this week’s required element will be ‘skills.’

The former DOI winner was doing her weekly interview on This Morning when she revealed that all of the celebrities (even rubbish ones like Kerry Katona) will have to attempt step sequences, spins and jumps in their routines.

Hayley told Ruth Langsford and Eamon Holmes:

This week’s required element is skills. They are introducing step sequences, spins and jumps. Which myself, Ray Quinn and Chris Fountain have all had to demonstrate. That’s been fun being back on the ice this week, it’s been great!

As well as welcoming back three previous stars of the ITV show, viewers can also look forward to a spectacularly glitzy routine from former Olympic champions Torvill and Dean, which takes inspiration from the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World.’

Tamaddon added:

It’s Vegas week. This week we get to see Jayne and Chris do a pro number which is going to be fantastic, I’ve heard it’s amazing. Also the contestants will have a Vegas-y number to do which is really good.

Last year turned out to be a roller-coaster ride for former Emmerdale actress Hayley Tamaddon.

She started the year on a high, being crowned the winner of Dancing On Ice with her childhood pal and skating partner, Dan Whiston, 34. But her world came crashing down shortly afterwards when she discovered that her fiancé, Darren Charles, had been cheating on her.

Hayley, 34, has now admitted that she blames the ITV reality TV show for tearing apart her relationship.

She tells this week’s Closer: “My work schedule was partly to do with it. I got very worked up during Dancing On Ice. When I was a kid, I wasn’t allowed to go to skating lessons, so it’s one thing I’ve always wanted to do and I didn’t let anything get in my way. I was totally focused on it and hardly ever at home. It was a crazy time.”

And Hayley admits that the pressure of spending so much time with her skating partner Dan probably contributed to the breakdown of her relationship, even though there was never any romance. Hayley says that Darren, 36, who she was due to marry this year, told her in June he’d cheated on her while she’d been busy trying to win the competition.

“You’re spending 24 hours a day with your skating partner, for three months – I suppose it’s like jumping headfirst into a serious relationship,” she says.

Like his current Dancing On Ice partner Kerry Katona, 30, who’s described Dan as “restoring my faith in men,” Hayley gushes about the professional skater, saying he’s “the type of guy you’d love to marry.”

She adds: “Dan gets on with everyone. He’s the best partner for Kerry because he’s really patient and gives her a lot of support.”

However, Hayley is convinced that despite pictures of Kerry cosying up to Dan, there’s no romance there. She says: “I’ve got to know Kerry and I genuinely don’t think she’s after Dan. She just wants to do well. Her kids come to watch her every week and she wants to impress them. She’s got a lot of pressure on her to prove herself and she knows that. She’s doing extremely well. She looks fantastic – but I don’t think there’s any romance between her and Dan!”

Hayley refuses to criticise her ex, even though she says there’s “no chance” of a reconciliation.

“Darren’s not a bad man,” she says. “When you’ve spent six years with each other you can’t just say, ‘That’s it.’ We had a house together and we’re sorting that out. But we’re not getting back together.”

Hayley Tamaddon has admitted that she thinks Kerry Katona is doing “amazingly well” on ‘Dancing On Ice’.

The former Emmerdale star, who won last year’s competition, confessed that she finds it “strange” to see her old skating partner Daniel Whiston performing with someone else. However she thinks the couple are well suited.

She said: “This year’s contestants on ‘Dancing On Ice’ are fantastic its hard to know who is going to go because they are all so good. It is very strange to see my lovely Daniel Whiston skating with somebody else but him and Kerry are doing amazingly well together and he is definitely the best partner for Kerry.

“Kerry is doing great her footwork is very good, she is presenting everything really nicely when she skates so she could go quite far in this competition.”

However, Kerry isn’t the only star tipped by Hayley to do well in this year’s competition.

She added to the Daily Star newspaper: “There are quite a few contestants this year on ‘Dancing on Ice’ who are doing extremely well, Sam Attwater, Chloe Madeley to name two, are doing very very well, so keep your eyes peeled they might be dark horses.”

Patsy Palmer plans on returning to ‘EastEnders’.

The 38-year-old actress – who portrays feisty Bianca Butcher in the BBC One soap – is currently on maternity leave from the show after giving birth to her fourth child Bertie last month, but insists she will resume her role as the mouthy mum “when the time is right”.

She said in a statement: “I have not quit ‘EastEnders’ over the current storyline as reports suggest. My contract came to an end soon after I gave birth to Bertie and, as I have already said, I just want to spend every minute with him.

“I love ‘EastEnders’ and have every intention of returning when the time is right for me and the show.”

Patsy – who is also mum to Charley, 18, Fenton, 10 and Emilia, nine – recently revealed the show’s current tragic cot-death plot upset Emilia so much that she begged her to leave the show.

She explained to Hello! magazine: “We all cried when we watched it. But it really affected Emilia, because she adores her new baby brother and simply couldn’t believe something like that could happen. She was sobbing her heart out and kept saying, ‘Please don’t go back there mummy’.

“I had to calm her down and explain that it wasn’t for real and that it was all pretend. But being only nine it was difficult for her to understand. It affected me too, especially after having Bertie, so I can imagine how other mums have felt.”
