Diners beware! Hell’s Kitchen chefs will be required to flambe for the first time ever on this years series, watch out those with bushy eyebrows!
Two chefs named the worst by Marco Pierre White will be made waiters and will have to set the desserts on fire.
An ITV source said that show bosses will have fire extinguishers on standby in case of accidents.
“If you’re in Marco’s bad books you’ll be in charge of the sweets trolley or cheese board,” the insider said.
“If they flambé the desserts well, they could be saved. But if someone loses an eyebrow, they’ll be for the chop.”
Another tricky dish that is going to be tackled will be steak tartare, which is made with raw beef.

Comedic actor Adrian Edmondson has admitted that he isn’t out to make people laugh on this years series of Hell’s Kitchen.
Adrian said: “I am not going on as a joker, I aim to have fun, I am kind of treating it quite lightly.”
He went on: “I don’t know if that’s the right way to do it, but this is my natural way and I don’t know what’s gonna happen if I get told off like a small child because I haven’t been told off like a small child since I was one. If they do that, if [host Marco Pierre White] gets a bit cross I don’t know, I don’t know how I will react until it happens.”

Marco Pierre White has denied rumours that this year’s Hell’s Kitchen will face huge cuts due to the ongoing credit crunch.
Speaking on ITV1’s This Morning, Marco denied that the set would be cheaper and ingredients of the value variety.
“That’s nonsense. Firstly the set is the most glamorous set I’ve ever seen, secondly the kitchen that I’ve got is a much better kitchen than I was given last time, and thirdly we’ve still got all the luxurious items like lobsters, turbots and quails’ eggs,” he explained.

ITV bosses are said to be having problems signing up any celebrities to this years series of Hell’s Kitchen.
Channel bosses have put a salary limit of £8,000 for anyone appearing on the show. When you consider that in 2007, Abbey Clancy was said to have signed a £100,000 contract for the ITV1 reality show, £8000 does seem rather paltry.
An insider told The People: “There isn’t any money to pay for celebrities this year. Money is so tight at ITV that even though Hell’s Kitchen is one of its top shows, the budgets can’t be stretched.

Anthea Turner and her husband Grant Bovey are said to have signed up for this years series of Hell’s Kitchen on ITV.
“It will be the first time they have worked on TV together,” a source told The Daily Mail. “Grant happily agreed to take part because, like everyone else in the property business, they have been hit heavily by the recession.”
The pair certainly need the funds as it emerged earlier this year that they had been hard hit by the current property slump and may be facing bankruptcy.
