Runner up of this years Hell’s Kitchen programme, Adele Silva, has spoken out against the alledged homophobic remarks made by fellow chef, Jim Davidson.
“I’ve never witnessed a personal attack like Jim made on Brian – it was so wrong,” Adele told the News of the World. “There’s a lot of things that haven’t been seen. I know there were worse things he said than the shirt-lifter – stuff that wasn’t shown.
“He said to Brian in the kitchen, ‘Are you working on pastries because you’re a poof?’ and ‘Are you sleeping in the girls’ bedrooms?’ Why would he? He’s a man. Read more & comment »

Former boxing champion Barry McGuigan was last night crowned the winner of Hell’s Kitchen and he’s already got some thoughts about his culinary future.
“Mcguigan’s mash,” he laughed on GMTV this morning (Tues 18th), “I’m certainly going to do something. Mcguigans’s sauce maybe but we’ll see!”
“I would never do it again (go back into Hell’s Kitchen) but (I’m) definitely going to ring Marco and ask him for some classes so I can reinforce it.”
McGuigan pipped Emmerdale actress Adele Silva into second place. Both had said they were useless at cooking before the competition and Barry laughed that: “I’d never cooked a thing in my life and now (I) know all the names of the utensils in the kitchen.” Read more & comment »

Actress Adele Silva and former boxer, Barry McGuigan will go head to head in tomorrow night’s final of ITV1 reality TV show, Hell’s Kitchen. The pair found themselves in the final after fellow chefs, Brian Dowling and Paul Young were voted out by the public.

Alan Titchmarsh has revealed that he turned down the chance to appear on ITV1′s Hell’s Kitchen as he didn’t like the thought of being swore at.
“I like to watch TV to be informed or entertained but I don’t find reality shows enjoyable. Television is such a young medium and they seem to tire of people easily,” Alan told The People.
“I sent Hell’s Kitchen packing very quickly. The prospect of walking into a kitchen so that Gordon Ramsay or the likes could swear at me doesn’t appeal at all. I don’t see any point in going on television just for the sake of going on television – I’m on to share my enthusiasms. Read more & comment »

Hell’s Kitchen chef, Marco Pierre White has revealed that although he cooks for a living, he creates no culinary masterpieces at all at home.
He admits that he agreed to appear on the ITV1 TV show so that his kids could see what he does for a living, as all their food is prepared by Marco’s wife, Mati.
Marco told The Sun: “I want them to be proud of me.
“I don’t cook at home really. My wife’s an excellent cook.”

Lee has returned to Hell’s Kitchen, but this time as a diner, and declared that he had no regrets.
Lee, who ate in the restaurant with his mum, said: “I don’t really regret things in life. It was a great experience, although it was short lived.
“But I stand up for what I believe in. I don’t regret anything. I stand by what I said. I didn’t walk out. I would have stuck it out but Marco asked me to leave and I did.”
Lee added: “I have no balls with Marco at all. Like I said when I first brought the issue up I respect him I respect the man he is and what he’s achieved. I haven’t got anything bad to say about him.” Read more & comment »

Abigail Clancy last night became the third celebrity to be kicked off hell’s Kitchen 2007. But she revealed on this mornings GMTV show that she never wants to cook anything again!
Abbey declared: “I’m never going to cook again, at least not for a while because I’m sick to death of food.”
She added: “We worked for 17 hour days with only an hour break – I’ve never worked so hard in may life, and I don’t intend to again!”

Most of you Hell’s Kitchen fans will already know that Jim Davidson left the ITV reality TV show yesterday amidst a gay jibe row with fellow contestant, Brian Dowling.

Yesterday’s morning meeting, and the celebrities arrived promptly for a surprise which Marco had promised the night before. But the surprise soon turned into a shock when Marco revealed that their very next service would be from a totally new menu – and their very next service was that night.
Marco said: “I told you you’d like your surprise didn’t I; because there’s less of us now I’m not saying I’m making it easier, I’m making it different. What we’re going to be doing now is English.”
Abbey said: “Sausage and mash!”

Chris Evans has blasted ITV reality TV show, Hell’s Kitchen in today papers calling it “incredibly annoying.”
Chris hates the way the show focuses on the celebrity contestants and not the chef and his creations.
Evans, 41, moaned: “I am not interested in whether Jim Davidson is a bigot, I don’t care how sensitive Brian is. I just want to be inspired by Marco.
“What’s the point in hiring Picasso to teach painting if all you focus on is if the students get on.”
