X Factor girl group Hope, have tried to use their feminine wiles on music moghul Simon Cowell, in the hope that he would give them a record deal.
It would seem however, that the girls have overestimated their powers of sexual persuasion, as Mr Cowell to date has refused to be drawn on the future of their career.
“I went to see Simon in his dressing room after the final show to say goodbye to him,” singer Raquelle Gracie told the Daily Star Sunday. “When I was in there I gave him a goodbye kiss and tried to persuade him into signing us up to his label.
“Terri was there as well and unfortunately Simon wasn’t having any of it. He said we would have to wait until after the X Factor tour to see how well we do.” Read more & comment »

It looks like Leon’s management have gotten to Emily Biggs from rival band Hope. She has now denied that there was ever any romance between her and the X factor winner. She told The Sun:
“There’s no romance but I’m pleased he won. He wanted to do it for his Mum. We spoke yesterday and he’s over the moon.”
If there never was any romance, then why have the pair only decided to deny it now? It all seems a bit fishy to me!

X Factor rejects, Hope have revealed that they are backing opera singer, Rhydian Roberts to win.
Speaking to The Sun Leah said: “We are so blessed to have been on The X Factor and are now rooting for Rhydian.
“He’s such a nice guy.
“Although the competition is open at the moment we really want him to win.”
Raquelle also backed The Riddler, saying: “Rhydian is just a wonderful, humble and chivalrous guy.
“You can’t get a nicer person and he is a super singer.” Read more & comment »

The British public have prevailed, and Hope have finally left the X Factor.
The band have been in the bottom two on two other occasions, a sure indicator that no one actually liked them.
Can they last the week? With the amount of in fighting that seems to go on, I would say probably not. By Christmas Phoebe will have her own recording contract and the rest of the girls will fade into oblivion.
Although, that may just be a case of wishful, or should I say hopeful thinking on my part!

Louis Walsh has revealed that he regrets encouraging X Factor rejects to form girl band Hope in this years auditions.
Speaking to Heart 106.2, Louis revealed:
“It was my idea and it was a mistake. They started off good but girl bands are hard work. It’s very hard for the five of them to get on. They all want to sing lead vocals, that’s the problem.”
He added: “They’re not going to sell a million records, there’s no way.”
Thankfully, the band are the favourites to be booted off tonights show. Bye girls!!!

X Factor judge Simon Cowell is furious with girl group Hope, and fed up with their diva demands. Last week Simon eventually allowed the girls to choose their own song and style, but warned them that they would have to live with the consequences. Subsequently the girls found themselves in the bottom two yet again.
A show insider told The Daily Star: “Simon was angry with the girls.
“They basically said they know more about the business than he does. Read more & comment »

X Factor contestants are said to be fuming with the shows bosses, as they believe that girl group Hope is getting preferential treatment.
An insider told the Daily Star Sunday: “It seemed as if their mentor Simon Cowell was pulling strings to try and keep them in.
“It could be that - because there are five of them - they need the extra rehearsal time. But the general feeling is that each act should be treated the same, regardless of the number of members. The ‘favouritism’ certainly ruffled a few feathers with the other contestants.”
About the show’s result last night the source said: “Beverley has impressed everyone but it was still Hope who stayed. Questions will be asked. It was the opportunity to get rid of them once and for all.”

Next week’s X Factor show will see the final five acts get double the chance to impress the Judges and the public as they have two songs each to sing and the theme is “Best of British” and the contestants will be joined on stage by the iconic Duran Duran.
So with double the chances to impress all the contestants are keen to get the right songs to show off their vocal abilities, and no act is feeling the pressure more than Hope. With Phoebe taking the lead vocals last night there is obvious rivalry between the girls and they are determined to pick songs that show off all, not just one, of their voices. Read more & comment »

Love was in the air last night on The X Factor as the six remaining acts blasted out their power ballards in a bid to impress the Judges, and the viewing public. In a nail biting Results Show, Hope and primary school teacher Beverely Trottman went head to head in the sing off, only for Beverley to lose out when the Judges reached a deadlock.
Sharon explained her reason to let the vote go to a deadlock last night, “It took a lot of thinking tonight. Both acts are so different and both talented in their own ways. Hope represents the youth and Beverely, I think, is like the next Jennifer Hudson. So Ii could not call it so it was like, let the public decide.”
To be honest I think Sharon made the right decision. Both acts have been in the bottom teo before, and neither are able to win the show. It was only fair to gauge what the public support for the acts were. Hope may have survived another week, but it’s now only a matter of time before they leave…..
