Aaron Carter for I’m A Celebrity 2011?

ITV bosses are said to have signed American star Aaron Carter for their upcoming series of ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’

The former child star is said to be keen to get his teeth stuck into the scary challenges set in the jungle based show, while producers are hoping he will spill the beans on his former famous girlfriends Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan to name a few.

Caroline Flack and Joe Swash will be reunited for ITV2 quiz show

Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here Now! presenters Caroline Flack and Joe Swash are to be reunited on Minute to Win It.

The Sun reports that the pair, who co-hosted the I’m A Celeb spin-off show, will be team captains on Minute to Win It later this summer.

The panel based game show, which sees two teams facing “madcap challenges”, is a big hit with viewers in the US where it’s aired on NBC.

Comedian Darren McMullen, who fronts the Aussie version, will also host the UK version.

An insider said, “Caroline and Joe made a great double act on I’m a Celeb and producers couldn’t wait to reunite them.”

Caroline is also presenting the The Xtra Factor with Olly Murs later this year. Read more & comment »

Imogen Thomas wants to be on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’

Imogen Thomas, who is of course a former ‘Big Brother’ housemate, says she’d “love” the experience of being a contestant in the ITV1 reality TV show, ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’

She told BANG Showbiz: “I’d love the whole experience of jumping on a helicopter and getting in there and just having a really good feel for it.

“I’d be starving, but I’d be eating in a few weeks time, it doesn’t really matter, I just want to try it.”

But the 28-year-old doesn’t envisage her fellow contestants having full stomachs if she was given the task of winning meals during the Bustucker Trials, which have previously seen celebrities eating various jungle foods such as a kangaroo penis and testicles. Read more & comment »

Popstar To Operastar 2011: Claire Richards turned down I’m A Celebrity…..Get Me Out Of Here

Claire Richards has confessed that she refused to sign up for ITV’s ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’ so that she could join the lineup of ‘Popstar To Operastar’.

The former Steps singer has blossomed on the reality TV series and explained that she doesn’t think she could cope with eating bugs and death defying challenges.

She said: “I’m not into camping and eating bugs is not my idea of fun.”

I’m A Celebrity: Aggro Santos accused of rape!

Aggro Santos has been accused of rape, after bringing two sisters to his hotel room following a recent gig.

The former I’m A Celebrity contestant and his cousin Terell were questioned by police, after the siblings spent some time in his room after a university show, then on their way out told a porter that they had both been raped.

It has been reported that the rapper and his relative went out for a few drinks with the girls, then at 1am took them back to where he was staying. By 4.30am the women had emerged, making their accusations and the police were called in to question the men. Read more & comment »

Amy Childs has revealed that she would love to be offered a place on this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’

The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star – who was seen struggling when she went ‘glamping’ on the ITV2 show earlier in the series – admitted that she would get stuck into all the trials and jungle life if she took part.

She said: “I would love to go in the jungle for ‘I’m A Celeb…’. I would take off all my make-up and really get stuck into the trials.

Alex Reid to star in I’m a Celebrity, get me out of here 2011?

Well we knew it was only a matter of time before this obvious media fuelled next career move for Alex Reid, and it would seem we are not to be disappointed.

Alex Reid, estranged husband to Katie Price, has been signed up for the 2011 series of I’m a Celebrity get me out of here, which will be filmed this winter.

Reid, who previously won the hearts of viewers when he competed in and won Celebrity Big Brother, in another strategic career move, is said to be thrilled at the invitation, The Daily Star reports.

Stacey Solomon says being a TV presenter is “harder than it looks”

Former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ and ‘X Factor’ contestant Stacey Solomon has revealed that being a TV presenter is “harder than it looks.”

Stacey made her remarks while discussing her role as a presenting on the forthcoming ITV1 reality TV show, ‘Sing If You Can’ which debuts this coming weekend.

She said of presenting the show with co-host Keith Lemon, “It’s harder than it looks…

“I have had about 100 people helping me and telling me how to say things – it’s really technical.

“Wearing an earpiece is funny because you can hear everyone else’s conversations.”

‘Sing If You Can’ will feature a host of celebs attempting to win money for charity by singing as long as possible while carrying out challenges.

Dom Jolly working on new reality show

Dom Jolly, one of last years I’m A Celebrity contestants, has admitted that he is obsessed with reality TV, despite wanting not to be, and his experience in the jungle has inspired him to develop his own.

He told Digital Spy: “Yeah, it’s terrible. In my position, I think I’m supposed to hate reality TV, but I’m obsessed by it.

“Not all of them, but well-made reality TV is a real skill I think. Big Brother was my favourite.

Jason Donovan would return to ITV’s I’m A Celebrity

After hearing talk of an ‘all star’ version of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, former campmate Jason Donovan has admitted that he’d love to go back.

The former Neighbours actor took part in the 2006 series of the show and enjoyed a real career resurgence after finishing in third place.

Speaking to Signal 1 Jason admitted that he hasn’t been approached about making a return to the reality TV show, but would definitely consider it if he was. He said:
