Having an affair with Ryan Giggs seems to have been the best career move Imogen Thomas could have made…who would have thought?
The former Miss Wales and Big Brother star was well along the path to obscurity until she became embroiled in the scandal with the famous footballer last year and now she’s rolling in it again and back at the height of her fame.
Natasha Giggs and Imogen Thomas both have a lot in common. They made a fortune from just talking about their affairs with Ryan Giggs for a start and they are both big fans and former contestants of reality TV shows, however they still don’t seem to get on.
Before Natasha was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house last week, model and former Miss Wales Imogen took to Twitter to tell her followers:

British bookies seem to think that Big Brother star Imogen Thomas is the most likely to enter the reality TV show, while other interesting possibilities include Wager from X-Factor at 6/1, Louis Spence at 10/1 and Paul Gascoigne at 12/1. With producers worried about the weather, Hills are 6/1 that a live show is cancelled due to extreme conditions.
“The I’m A Celebrity line up is always the subject of enormous speculation and the early betting sees both Imogen Thomas and Kris Smith likely contenders to enter the jungle,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
A new survey suggests that two of the people the Celebrity Big Brother house this year are Imogen Thomas and Katie Price.
Imogen shot to fame on the 2003 normal Big Brother series on Channel 4 and hit the headlines again this year, when she was revealed to be having an affair with married football player Ryan Giggs.
Katie Price is no stranger to reality TV either, having her own fly on the wall series on Sky Living and having previously starred in I’m A Celebrity…..Get Me Out Of Here, twice.
Imogen Thomas was embarrassed when she worked on her This Morning summer segment yesterday, when a passer by threw a water balloon at her.
The former ‘Big Brother’ housemate was judging a a Hunks in Trunks contest in Great Yarmouth for the ITV show, alongside’The Only Way Is Essex’ star Amy Childs, when the missile was aimed at her and she was forced to change outfits, because she was completely saturated.
However, despite the humiliating incident, Thomas claims that she had fun on the job, taking to her Twitter page to reveal:
Imogen Thomas was spotted out and about in London with a mystery man on her arm last night and today, while nursing a hangover, the former Big brother start admitted that she is ready for love again.
Thomas hit the headlines earlier this year, when newspapers reported that she had been sleeping with a married footballer, but a super injunction denied them the right to reveal his identity.
She did the rounds and conducted a huge number of TV and magazine interviews, before it was finally confirmed that Ryan Giggs was her mystery lover.
Imogen Thomas is of course gutted that her name has been trailed through the newspapers in relation to her seedy Ryan Giggs affair over recent months, but she’s not turning down any of the work that is offered because of it.
For someone keen to shy away from the spotlight and who never intended to sell her story on her footballing ex-boyfriend, she is certainly popping up everywhere and it has been reported that her next TV appearance will be on ITV’s This Morning.
The former ‘Big Brother’ housemate will join The Only Way Is Essex’s Amy Childs and X Factor’s Stacey Solomon on the entertainment programme and will give viewers a range of tips and advice on fashion and beauty.
Imogen Thomas, who is of course a former ‘Big Brother’ housemate, says she’d “love” the experience of being a contestant in the ITV1 reality TV show, ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
She told BANG Showbiz: “I’d love the whole experience of jumping on a helicopter and getting in there and just having a really good feel for it.
“I’d be starving, but I’d be eating in a few weeks time, it doesn’t really matter, I just want to try it.”
But the 28-year-old doesn’t envisage her fellow contestants having full stomachs if she was given the task of winning meals during the Bustucker Trials, which have previously seen celebrities eating various jungle foods such as a kangaroo penis and testicles. Read more & comment »
The Daily Mail today reports that former Big Brother star Imogen Thomas has a new tattoo which runs along the left side of her ribs, and reads “Liars and cheats will never have my heart.”
So one might assume that it’s a not-so-subtle message to former lover Ryan Giggs, who of course tried, and failed, to keep his identity a secret.

Natasha Giggs – wife of Rhodri Giggs and sister-in-law of Ryan Giggs – has reportedly bought herself a guard dog as she lives in fear of Manchester United fans hounding her… pun entirely intended.
The Daily Star states that Natasha tweeted, “Off to buy myself a big dog! Lookin at a Dogue de Bordeaux.”
The breed, which was made famous in the movie Turner & Hooch, can grow up to 3ft tall and weigh around 9st.
Natasha admitted to the Daily Star that she was daunted at the prospect of living alone following her split from Rhodri.
