Katie Price has landed a new contract with ITV2, which will see her make two new TV shows.

As well as another series of her reality TV show, Katiehas also been promised a brand new format, yet to be revealed.

A pal told The People: “Katie is really excited. It will be completely different to her reality show or a style makeover programme.”

Katie seems to think that the contract will be one in the eye for ex-husband Peter Andre. Her pal said: “It will dent his ego to learn ITV are desperate to keep Katie on their books.”

This brand new series for ITV2 sees Fearne Cotton getting up close and personal to starlets Paris Hilton, Peaches Geldof and Alesha Dixon.

With exclusive access to the celebrities’ lives and inner-circles, Fearne hangs out with them when they’re on stage, at home, in the office, in the studio and while they’re relaxing with friends. And, as she gets to know them, they open up to her about their families and love lives.

Before embarking on her inquisitive journey into the celebrities’ lives, Fearne studies the way the press portray them and says she hopes to find out whether their media images are true to them or not.

Fearne says: “The whole lifestyle behind the public image is fascinating. I love piecing together the jigsaw puzzle of what lies beneath the surface. The series will be a real chance to peel back the layers of the celebrities’ lives.”

Fearne and Paris Hilton
Episode one

The first episode in the series sees Fearne gain an exclusive insight into the life of the controversial heiress Paris Hilton.

As she jets out to join her in her LA mansion, Fearne hopes to discover the truth behind the headlines about the model, actress and pop star.

With her glamorous lifestyle the 28-year-old is pursued by paparazzi wherever she goes and has become a fixture in the world’s magazines and newspapers.

Coming from the Hilton Hotel dynasty Paris is rumoured to be worth in excess of $50 million. Her name is now a brand in its own right, which includes clothing and handbag ranges, a perfume collection, record label and even a dog accessories range. But Fearne sets out to discover how much Paris is involved. Is she simply a figure head or is she more than just a pretty face?

Paris has starred in five series of the hit reality TV show The Simple Life as well as her own hugely successful Paris’ British Best Friend and My New BFF shows. She has made guest star appearances in the OC and My Name is Earl as well as big screen guest roles in films like Zoolander. But is the Paris we see on screen the same Paris behind closed doors?

She’s written a best selling book – Confessions of an Heiress as well as launching a pop career achieving the top 10 in 17 countries with her single, The Stars Are Blind.

Fearne wants to find out what’s next for the star, and if she really believes she can achieve success in everything that she does.

In a case of life imitating art, Alex Reid has challenged Peter Andre to a cage fight. We think he saw Unreality TV’s article and mock poster on the massive TV fighting event, earlier this week.

The Sun reports that Reid challenged Andre:

“Come and have a go if you think you’re hard enough.”

A spokesman said: “It would be the biggest fight of the year.

“The potential for a fight both financially and crowd-wise is limitless. But it would be too much of a mis-match.

“Alex is a legitimate sportsman and although Pete is not in bad shape himself he’d need six months training to keep up.”

Of course the whole thing would be aired live on ITV2!

Peter Andre is back with a brand new series and ITV2 has been given exclusive access into the lives of one of TV’s most talked about stars in Peter Andre: The Next Chapter.

This week we see Peter on cloud nine as he signs his long awaited record contract! His kids join him on his photo shoot for his new album ‘Revelation’ but the singer is soon brought back down to earth with a thud as he hears news that his estranged wife has been on morning television.

With ‘Team Andre’ growing week by week, Peter continues his publicity tour for his new album. First stop sees the singer meeting up with old pals from Heart FM who lighten his mood. He then heads off for an interview with a Sunday magazine, the first ever since the split, but he’s still unwilling to spill the beans and just wants to concentrate on talking about his single.

Peter then gets the chance to tell the world that he won’t be messed with when he reads a statement outside the High Court. A victory for Pete as a Sunday paper earlier on in the year printed untrue stories about him having an affair whilst married to Kate.

With a pause in his publicity trail, Peter makes the most of his time off with the kids and decided to them strawberry picking. Junior has other rich pickings on his mind though and instead of strawberries he brings home a new friend, Billy the snail.

That evening, whilst rehearsing for a gig, Pete’s marital disputes are shaken up and he and brother Mike reach the end of their tethers.

Katie Price is reportedly angry that ITV2 aired an ad for Peter Andre’s new album, during her reality TV show.

“She was really cross about it and accused Pete of using her popularity to sell his records,” a source told The People. “Katie and her team thought it was a real low blow and tried to see if they could put a stop to it. But Pete’s management had bought the advertising time fair and square.

“Katie has a real problem with people using her to further themselves and she thought that was what Pete was doing.

“She definitely didn’t see the funny side – she thought he was taking advantage of her.”

Holly Willoughby is rumoured to be leaving the Xtra Factor next year and favourite to replace her is One Show host, Christine Bleakley.

“Holly’s enjoyed Xtra Factor but feels the time is right to step aside and let someone else have a go,” a source told The Daily Star.

No doubt Holly is feeling a bit overworked. Between her new role on This Morning, her presenting stint on ITV’s Dancing On Ice and her weekly slot on the Xtra Factor, she can’t have much spare time spend with her new son Harry.

Christine Bleakley is said to be Simon Cowell’s preferred choice for the ITV2 spinoff show.

Holly Willoughby was worried when she returned to work on The Xtra Factor, only months after giving birth to her first child, Harry. However, she needn’t have panicked as it seems like she has quite the accommodating boss!

When Holly flies out to film the judges home stage of the show, her husband (Dan Baldwin) and baby will be joining her. Baldwin told The Telegraph:

Harry and I will be coming along when Holly is filming at one of Simon Cowell’s houses in sunnier climes next week.

I can’t say which one, but I won’t have much time to get a tan, anyway, as I’ll be looking after Harry while Holly is working. I’ll probably get 10 minutes’ on the sun lounger at a time if I am lucky.

Holly, 28, says:

It will be lovely to have them along. I’ve been flying backwards and forwards all week for filming.

Katie Price is not a happy bunny. After years of believing that she was the famous one in her and Peter Andre’s marriage, it turns out that may not actually be the case at all.

Both parties did a fly on the wall style show about the weeks after their marriage breakdown, however while Katie Price’s made a decent debut on ITV2 on Thursday night, it failed to beat Peter Andre’s one-off show Going It Alone.

During her hour long show, Katie pulled in 1.28m (6%). Pete’s show managed to attract 1.72m (8.9%) between 9pm and 10.30pm last Thursday.

Not so cocky now Kate, eh?

Joe Swash will co-host this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now on ITV2.

The Sun, reports that the former King Of The Jungle will present the show alongside Caroline Flack.

“Joe will be running around doing things like trying out the Bushtucker Trials ahead of the stars,” said a source. “The idea is to use his enthusiasm to give the show some extra energy.”

I’m A Celebrity… returns to ITV1 in November.

Caroline Flack will present ITV2’s I’m A Celebrity’s coverage, it has been reported.

Caroline will replace former show winner Matt Willis and his wife Emma Griffiths on ITV2’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Now when it returns in November.

Caroline told The Sun: “I have been a huge fan of I’m A Celebrity since it began and I’m really looking forward to presenting the ITV2 show.

“It’s always been my favourite reality programme and I can’t wait to get all the gossip out of this year’s celebrities when they come out of the jungle.”

An insider said: “Caroline is perfect for the job as she’s bubbly and enthusiastic.”

Caroline has previously worked on Gladiators and Big Brother’s Big Mouth.
