The I’m A Celebrity contestants had a close call in camp when they spotted a deadly Funnel Web spider – which can kill within an hour – under Janice’s bed.

The drama unfolded when J spotted the shiny black spider scurrying around. He yelled out: “Oh dear, it’s one of the bad ones folks. I think we’ve got a bad spider in camp, quite a big black shiny spider in camp.”

Janice immediately started panicking and yelling: “Get it, get it, get it.”

J tried to catch the spider under a frying pan, but it crawled out and disappeared.

But the spider soon emerged again and Janice became quite hysterical as J tried to catch it.

He said: “Stop panicking me while I get it.”

J scooped the spider into a glass jar and took it to the Bush Telegraph.

Biggins said: “Well done J, you’re my man.”

Later Gemma explained to the Bush Telegraph: “We tried to get it but it escaped. It escaped under Janice’s bed. J was a hero because I wouldn’t have got near a venomous spider, no way.”

Biggins said: “Very brave J, he was rummaging around very bravely with a glass canister to find the spider and we couldn’t find it at all and Janice was getting mad because it was under her bed.”

Janice added: “There was a spider under my bed the size of a little baseball. It was making its way towards my bed, the last thing I need is a huge spider bite on my arse.”

J said: “I think I may have indeed just gained superhero status. I may be the next, I think its Peter Parker who is Spiderman, if so it may be now J Brown.”

Janice and J put on a splendid performance and took ten meals back to the camp after their I’m a Celebrity Bushtucker Trial and Janice stayed quiet the whole way through.

As the pair went to do the trial they were greeted by Ant and Dec who were stood at the edge of a ravine next to a motorbike and sidecar.

Dec said: “So, it’s Uneasy Rider. Do you want to know what it’s all about?”

Ant said: “Before I tell you the rule, are you any good at driving?”

Janice, who bragged about how brilliant she was at driving when she was doing the Nip Pluck trial with Lynne, declared: “I’m no good at driving.”

Ant said: “Do you think you will be any good at driving a motorbike 100ft over a ravine?”

J said: “I’ll get that thing going over there, yeah. Absolutely.”

Ant said: “Well this is Uneasy Rider, as you can see we have a motorbike and a sidecar, you have to both get on here. You can decide amongst yourselves who’s going to ride it and who’s going to sit alongside, and you have got to drive out across the ravine.

“As you can see we’ve got 11 stars hanging from the high wire, you have to use this very glamorous baton to and you have got to use this to bash the stars.”

Dec said: “There are 11 stars there, so the amount of stars that are visibly smashed at the end, that’s how many meals you’ll take back to camp.

“Just be careful because any erratic movement will send the bike hurtling towards the floor. So, who’s doing what?”

J said: “I’ll ride.”

Janice said: “I’ll smash with all my heart.”

The pair climbed onboard the bike and set off across the ravine. J managed to keep the bike steady while Janice bashed the stars. Occasionally J checked that the wheels were ok on Janice’s side.

He said: “Are the wheels ok?”

Janice replied: “Perfect, I’m balancing for you.”

J said: “Yes, perfect Janice keep doing that.”

Janice: “We can do this. Don’t look down.”

After just two minutes the pair had got six stars and they went on to get a further four. But in between the 10th and the 11th star the wheels slipped off the track and the bike fell from under them.

Janice jokingly yelled at J: “I could have got that last one J, you fucked it up.”

But J was triumphant and said: “We did that in about two and a half minutes.”

Afterwards Dec told Janice: “You were savage at those stars.”

Janice said: “I was savage. You know, you don’t want to mess with Janice.”

I’m A Celebrity’s J has spoken about his relationship with Spice Girl Mel C. Talking to Lynne in front of the camp fire he said he went out with the famous singer in 2000.

J said: “She’s absolutely lovely.”

Biggins asked: “Do you still see her, J?”

J said: “I haven’t seen her. I bumped into her about two years ago. I’ve not seen her.”

Biggins joked: “Can you get us tickets to the Spice Girls show?”

Lynne commented: “She went through a similar situation as you didn’t she? I heard her talking about it on TV the other day. She was burnt out.”

J said: “It kind of happened at similar times yes.”

Lynne: “And that was when you met?”

J: “Yes we had a sort of kinship.”

Former model Janice Dickinson livened up the Snake Rock camp last night as she offered to go skinny dipping and then sleep on top of heart throb, J.

As the Snake Rock team – Janice, Gemma, Lynne and J – arrived in camp after their long journey an excited Janice exclaimed: “Wow cool I like it…this is cool.”

But J’s attentions were already focused on the beds which were sodden with water due to the rain.

“Aren’t the f**kin beds a bit wet,” he said.

Ever the gentleman he asked Lynne which bed she wanted.

Janice then joked: “I’ll sleep on top of J.”

J appeared not to react to her suggestion and continued to check out the camp.

But Janice had another idea up her sleeve.

“Let’s go for a skinny dip.”

J then came up with a more sensible idea.

“I’ll get started on the fire.”

Janice tried to organise her fellow campers saying: “Okay you do the fire, then you do the toilets then you give me a massage.”

Janice and J then each made a Tarzan style jungle calling by singing out and Janice shouted: “I’m waiting for Tarzan baby.”

Later as the team settled into their new home Janice complained about her clothes being wet.

She said: “It’s soaking everything is soaking wet…I just don’t like my fanny all wet.”

J asked: “Is that the British or American version of fanny when you say that?”

Janice replied: “Pussy.”

J responded: “Okay.”
