Jackiey Budden, mother of that sweet young thing, Jade Goody amnd former celebrity Big Brother housemate has been forced to pay back £250,000 of benefit money which she claimed fraudulently.

Daughter Jade has defended her saying:

“She made a mistake. It was never done deliberately, it was a matter of not knowing.

“Some people are educated, some people aren’t. Some people don’t know what to do and some people do. It was clearly by not knowing.

“However the best thing she did was paying it back. She’s said ‘Sorry I’ve made a mistake and I didn’t realise I had to contact you. This is how I much I owe, here you go’.

“She’s made a mistake, they’ve caught her making that mistake and she’s paid the penalty. She’s not going to court. The social security department have investigated, she’s admitted her mistake and they don’t find it necessary to take it any further.”

She may be stupid, but even Jackiey must know that you can’t work when you’re on the dole!

Jackiey Goody, Celebrity Big Brother housemate and mum of Jade Goody, was set upon by a group of four asian men on Friday who pushed her up against a car and called her a racist b***h.

Jackiey told The People, “I’m absolutely petrified. I thought my life was getting back to normal after everything that happened with Big Brother and all that.

“But what happened on Friday has come as a real setback. I don’t want to let these people force me out of my manor, that would mean they won. Anyone who knows me knows I’m not a bad person.”

Jackiey Budden, mother of Jade Goody, has revealed that she is living in fear of losing her council flat due to benefit fraud.

It recently emerged that Jackiey had earned thousands of pounds while still claiming benefits and living in her council flat. The Celebrity Big Brother contestant is rumoured to have pocketed more than £50,000 from TV shows and magazine deals.

Jackiey’s spokeswoman said: “Jackiey has yet to be paid for her appearances on Big Brother, but I don’t know about her other magazine and TV deals.

“She does eventually intend to move back to Bermondsey, but she fears she will lose some of her benefits.

“Jackiey knows she has to inform social security about her earnings and does fear hits to her benefits.”

I am finding it hard to have any sympathy for Jackiey or to believe that she really needs a council flat anyway. If she wanted to keep her flat then she should have declared her earnings and not claimed benefits that she wasn’t entitled to. Maybe she will have to move in with Jade for a while….if she’ll have her!

So we’ve seen our first eviction of Celebrity Big Brother, and surprise surprise it was one of the Goody Clan. What was a surprise was that it was Jackiey, rather than Jack.

Yes, we can all heave a sigh of relief that the excrutiatingly uncomfortable antics of Jade’s mum will hopefully fade from our memories as she fades from our screens. So why the surprise? How on earth did Jack amass any votes at all? I don’t think I’ve seen him speak, I certainly haven’t seen him do anything, so I can’t believe that people picked up their phones and voted for him.

Perhaps spelling Jackiey’s name right caused problems? Perhaps many lost the will to live and just shortened it to Jack? Well, it would explain a lot!

Having said that, I don’t think the experience was any good at all for Jackiey. She seemed to be constantly on edge, very paranoid, easily upset and quick to pick up the wrong end of the stick. The others seemed to lose patience with her very quickly, for instance when she was trying to sort out the takeaway order, or when she asked for lemon juice. Perhaps she seemed like an easy target? After all, even Jade didn’t do much to defend her in the house. (Mind you, there is absolutely no way I would go into Big Brother with my mother. And she’s relatively normal and a very intelligent woman. My kids have also said I’d be their idea of a nightmare housemate)

The eviction itself was very cruel, and not just for Jackiey. Why couldn’t BB announce it while they were sat at the dining table, and at least let the woman have 30seconds to put her shoes on and say goodbye? Why am I even surprised after watching the horrible way BB evicted Vanessa two years ago? It looks like there will be a variation on the same theme today when Cleo and Carole receive their punishment for talking about nominations. At least for them its just to go up for eviction, not actually be evicted.

I’m seriously hoping that Leo Sayer will be up for eviction after the nominations. It looks like he’s winding up most people in the house with his constant self-aggrandizement – its been a long time since I saw someone that far up their own backside (well, not since Sezar, perhaps)

One final word on Jackiey’s eviction.. I only wish it had been before she inflicted that swimsuit on the civilised world…

Jackiey Budden has tonight become the third celebrity to leave the 2007 Celebrity Big Brother house, but the first to be evicted by the public. Did I hear a huge sigh of relief?

The result couldn’t have been better. Jackiey has managed to annoy and irritate not only every celebrity housemate (including her own daughter) but she has driven the British viewing public mad with her every, very deeply spoken word.

Jackiey has also helped to lose the show millions of viewers and two original housemates since she joined the show….if she had stayed in much longer they would have had to cancel the whole thing and pulled the show off air at the end of the week.

Three cheers for Jackiey leaving ……..Come On LOUDER!

Shilpa Shetty is coming to the end of her tether with the loud mouthed Jackiey.

She confided in Carole today, while on a bathroom break, that she just doesn’t know how to deal with the woman any more!

“I’m feeling low and then she says something to me and I think, ‘why are you talking to me’,” Shilpa says. “What would you do?” she asks Carole.

“I’d have a go,” Carole says. “You’ve been elegant and diginified. That works where you come from, it doesn’t work here. You have to have a go back.”

Methinks Carole is just trying to create more trouble and more stories for her to write about when she leaves the house. How long will it be before she writes her new book, Celebrity Big Brother: Inside The House.

Ken Russell has revealed to The Sun today that he left the Big Brother house early as he was worried that all the tension would cause him to suffer from another stroke.

Russell said: “I grew up in the slums of Southampton and we had a word for people like that – guttersnipes.”

Jade Goody has revealed that she isn’t enjoying her Celebrity Big Brother experience as much as she would like, mainly because her mum is in the house.

Speaking to her boyfriend Jack Tweedy in the garden this evening, Jade admitted that she can’t truly be herself in the house with mum Jackiey around. She says she feels like the adult looking after her kid.

Jack admitted to Jade that he suspected things would be this way whenm they got to the house, Jade said:

Jade adds: “I’m not really enjoying myself”.

Things are beginning to hot up in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and this year it looks like the first crush is occurring between Jackiey and S Club 7 singer JoO’Meara.

In the servants kitchen tonight, Jo admitted that when she was waiting on Jade’s mum in the main Big Brother house Jackiey told her, she has a “thing for her!”

Jackiey Budden (also known as Jackiey Luckens and Jackiey Goody) is the mother of reality TV star Jade Goody.

She made the national press during her daughter’s time in the Big Brother house due to being a lesbian and having the use of only one arm due to a motorbike accident that she had when Jade was just 5.

In April 2006, she appeared on a home makeover TV show with her daughter where they made over her council flat in Bermondsey.

On April 12, 2006, Jade appeared on the chat show Davina speaking about her autobiography. Here she mentions that Jackiey lost two years of her memory after her aforementioned motorbike crash and that she was upset that she was unable to remember that her daughter went into foster care.

In Autumn 2006, she underwent a considerable cosmetic surgery for the Living TV programme, Extreme Makeover.[1] The surgery cost the show £30,000. Budden was forbidden from seeing her friends and family for three months from the time she had the surgery to when the show was aired.

On January 5, 2007 Jackiey participated in the fifth UK edition of Celebrity Big Brother along with her daughter Jade Goody and Jade’s boyfriend Jack Tweedy.
