Lucy Spraggan decided to show a totally different side to herself when she performed at judges houses earlier this month.
The singer songwriter shone at previous audition stages, when she performed her own quirky songs and self penned numbers. However, when she travelled to St Lucia, to sing for Tulisa Contostavlos and Tinie Tempah, in the hope of winning one of the three places in the live finals, she decided to take a different approach.
Instead of singing one of her own songs, Lucy took on the classic ballad ‘I Will Always Love You’ but tried to out a different spin on it than the usual Whitney Houston version we are used to.

Tulisa Contostavlos had a tough time at X Factor judges houses this year, almost as tough as the contestants.
The former N-Dubz star was probably the only judge on the ITV show that had to choose between six acts that were all talented and all capable of performing on the live shows. There was no dross, no also rans and she will be seen struggling to decide between her finalists on this evening’s show.
Viewers haven’t seen much of Leanne Robinson in the series so far and the performer has only been featured in some montage footage on previous episodes, however she will prove that she desevres her place in judges houses on tonight’s show as viewers watch her sing Hurt by Christina Aquilera.

On tonight’s X Factor show, the final six girls are seen being whisked away to St Lucia wit Tulisa Contostavlos, for what could be their final performance on the show.
Jade Collins, Jade Ellis, Ella Henderson, Amy Mottram, Leanne Robinson, Lucy Spraggan only found out that they would be mentored by the former N-Dubz star just moments before they left the UK and Ella confessed that she was happy with Simon Cowell’s decision. She said:
“I’m really really happy that Tulisa is our Judge.”

Jade Collins has claimed that she has no idea why her dad has been in and out of prison for most of her life.
The teenage singer shot to fame on the X Factor recently, after impressing the judges with her rendition of ‘Sweet Dreams’ at her audition for the ITV show.

The X Factor series moved out of it’s bootcamp rounds and into judges houses last night and finally we know which six girls joined Tulisa at the last audition stage of the show.
Ella Henderson, Amy Mottram, Jade Collins, Lucy Spraggan, Leanne Robinson and Jade Ellis travelled to St Lucia with the blonde beauty and her famous assistant Tinie Tempah and as we type, three of them are safe in the knowledge that they’ll soon be taking part in the live shows, while three of them will have been eliminated from the show.
Jade Collins revealed that she is desperate to make it through, so her jailbird dad can hear her sing live for the first time, while Jade Ellis wants to succeed for the sake of her six year old daughter.

Tulisa was pretty darn pleased to land the girls category on tonight’s X Factor show.
The N-Dubz star was informed by Simon Cowell who she would be mentoring, after both she and Nicole Scherzinger expressed an interest in working with the ladies.
The music mogul phoned her and while lounging outside a villa in Miami, he informed her than he would be granting her wish.

On tonight’s X Factor bootcamp drew to a close and the panel were seen deliberating as they whittled down more than 70 contestants to just 24.
After all the hopefuls took to the stage and sang for a crowd of more than 5,000 people in Liverpool’s Echo Arena, the judges first chose their final six boys for judges houses and then, it was the girls’ turn.
Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Tulisa and Louis Walsh spent quite a while debating about who was best suited to the ITV show but finally, they decided that the six acts they were sending through were Ella Henderson, Amy Mottram, Jade Collins, Lucy Spraggan, Leanne Robinson and Jade Ellis.

Louis Walsh was pleased and chuffed on tonight’s X Factor show as another Irish hopeful came to the fore.
We reported earlier this year that Belfast born teenager Jade Collins‘ wowed the panel when she tried out for the ITV show recently and this evening her performance was shown in full, on the penultimate audition show of the series.
Before singing, the cute hopeful revealed that she has struggled with family problems in her past and mentioned a few times that her dad isn’t in touch with her right now and has been in and out of prison for much of her formative years.
Jade’s mum accompanied her to the tryout and told producers that her daughter is incredibly focused on her music and dedicates all her spare time to rehearsal and learning new songs. The pair seemed to be very close and had a lovely dynamic, which made us invest even more in Collins before she had even sang.

We reported earlier this year that Jade Collins would be one to watch on this year’s X Factor series and tonight you’ll get to see why.
The Belfast born teenager tried out for the ITV show earlier this year and at the time, insiders told Unreality TV that the judges had been blown away by her strong vocals and sense of musical identity.
On tonight’s penultimate audition show the 17 year old will be featured and before taking to the stage, she told producers:
“I started singing when I was back in school probably about 8 or 9. I would always be interested more in in music than anything else. I’ve came to The X Factor because I’ve watched it for years and years and I want this to be my day job this is what I want to do. I live at home with my mummy, my sister and my two younger brothers.”

Since the X Factor auditions didn’t come to Ireland this year, it seems that the Irish people are determined to bring their talent to the show!
Yesterday the judge visited Glasgow for the latest round of tryouts for the ITV show and one of the stand out acts of the day was Belfast born teenager Jade Collins.
The 17 year old singer – who is from our neck of the woods by the way, so get ready for a big Unreality TV / Jade campaign if she reaches the live shows – sang for Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, Louis Walsh and guest judge Anastacia and audience members told Unreality TV that all four were blown away by her vocal ability.
