Well, ok, perhaps “fairytale wedding” doesn’t lend itself to being in the same sentence as “got married at Durham registry office,” but nonetheless, the bride and groom looked beautiful on their big day.

And as we reported yesterday – which was their wedding day of course – the caring sharing couple tweeted and updated their fans throughout the ceremony and in fact, the entire day.

They even streamed footage of the day live via their own website, and uploaded pictures of themselves and their wedding guests throughout the occasion.

For those of you who don’t know, Jay and Louise first met during Big Brother 12, which was of course the last airing of the show on Channel 4. Channel 5 of course subsequently bought up the rights to air BB for at least the next few years… Read more & comment »

Big Brother 12 was made extra special by the romance that blossomed between housemates Jay McKray and Louise Cliffe, who got engaged last year…

And today, it’s been revealed that they’ve wed in a ceremony that took place this morning!

Via their own website, Jay and Louise have tweeted updates throughout the morning, with Jay tweeting, “I am sh***ing my pants” which, given his proven propensity towards rectal gas emissions may in fact have happened.

Louise meanwhile – about an hour ago, so that would make it just after midday – tweeted, “Just arrived, I’m so nervous everyone x”
