It was an emotional weekend as The Voice UK reached the live semi finals. For the first time all four coaches teams’ united and performed live to survive – and the shocks came thick and fast.
The stakes and the pressure had never been higher, as the eight remaining artists fought for one of four places in the final. The choice was purely in the hands of the public at home, and for the first time the coaches lost their power to save one of their own team.

Tyler James and Jaz Ellington may have had a mostly stress free week, given that they didn’t have to perform on last night’s live episode of The Voice and were safe in the knowledge that they had a place in the competition for at least one more week.
The final two contestants in Team Will did get to showcase their vocal skill this evening, with a performance of ‘Roxanne’ but thankfully, they weren’t doing it for the public vote.

It was revealed by BBC bosses last week that team coaches Will.i.am and Tom Jones would be joining their contestants for a group performance on stage tonight and we have to admit, it definitely raised the level of excitement for us here at Unreality TV.
