Fans of X Factor boy band JLS will of course know that the band members, Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, JB Gill Oritsé Williams, have announced they’re splitting and will part ways after their upcoming tour ends in December of this year.
And while fans are still reeling over the news, the lads have been talking exclusively to The Sun about how they’re coping with the breakup and what lies ahead for them once JLS is no more.

Strictly Come Dancing decks the halls with glitterballs as JB Gill wins the 2012 Christmas special.
Just a few days after the grand finale of the 2012 series, Strictly Come Dancing quickstepped back to screens to deck the halls with glitterballs for a one-off seasonal special, which saw JB Gill crowned King of the Christmas Ballroom.
Opening with a special sketch, seeing the judges enjoying their Christmas dinner together – Head Judge Len carving the turkey, Darcey offering her trademark tips (punctuated by “yah!”), before Bruce appears to whisk them all off to the ballroom.

Fans of both X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing will of course know that ITV and the BBC are in constant competition with each other to get the most viewers and to sign up the biggest stars…
And recently, Robbie Williams – who spent time mentoring The X Factor finalists this week – revealed that he’s going to be singing live on Strictly, as is former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.
So it’s sure to be another blow to ITV that JLS star JB Gill has revealed that he’d love to take part in the BBC ballroom dance show.
JLS – in which JB sings alongside Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold and Oritse Williams – of course shot to fame on The X Factor, and since leaving the show, they’ve enjoyed global success and have been invited to take part in dozens of reality TV shows.
But of Strictly, JB is quoted by TV Guide as saying, “I like the idea of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, but you wouldn’t get me in the [I’m A Celebrity] jungle!” Read more & comment »
X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes – Jedward – were of course the “novelty” act during their year on the show, but nobody can accuse them of being a joke act now; and certainly not if they check out their bank balances!
And just to prove the point that they do have a serious side, the boys have uploaded acoustic performances of Adele’s Bond theme tune and Plain White T’s track, Hey There Delilah, and they’re really not too bad…
As you’ll see in the videos after the jump, the lads have also ditched their trademark – and largely inexplicable – quaff/stand-up-straight hairdos for relaxed down-dos.

It’s been reported today that JLS band member Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill is in the process of converting his country house and estate into a deer farm, and he’s currently shopping around for deer that aren’t too dear…
See what I did there? This is why they pay me the big bucks.
Anywho, The Sun reports that JB said, “I’ve decided I’m going to have a deer farm.
“I’ve been doing my research and there [are] certain times in the year when it’s best to buy them.
“I’m going to have a few females and one stag. Not only are they beautiful to look at, I’d like them to reproduce.”
JB has certainly embraced the country lifestyle, and recently bought his very own tractor for the rambling estate in Kent… Read more & comment »
