It seems that friendships forged on reality TV shows can last forever, or for a few months at least, as this week former Celebrity Big Brother housemates Tara Reid and Jedward enjoyed some fun times together in LA.
The X Factor twins are currently in the states doing some promo work and caught up with the American Pie actress, who they became close to when they appeared on the Channel Five show last year.
Jedward are hoping to represent Ireland in the Eurovision song contest for the second time, it has been reported.
Last year they boys headed to Düsseldorf, to perform their track ‘Lipstick’ in 2011 competition and ended up finishing in eighth place.
The X Factor stars are keen to repeat the experience and have chosen a track named “Waterline”, which was penned written by Nick Jarl – who has previously written with Westlife – for their 2012 Eurovision entry. The track will also feature backing vocals from Leanne Moore – the winner of the 2008 series of Irish talent show You’re a Star – and former “X Factor” finalist Melanie McCabe.
Jedward are investing their new-found wealth in property and buying themselves an LA mansion it has been reported.
The X Factor stars have been earning money more quickly than they can spend it, since they finished on the 2009 series of the ITV show and revealed this weekend that they have put in an offer for a new American home.

Earlier today, in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Denise and Natalie were set a secret mission by the cheeky Jedward. Denise and Natalie’s mission was to collect specific souvenirs from certain Housemates, to deliver back to the garden Cherubs without getting caught.
Denise and Natalie were asked to collect Michael’s cowboy hat, a sandwich that Karissa has taken a bite out of, and a lock of Frankie’s hair, and secretly return them one by one to the Cherubs via a secret hatch in the garden.
X Factor twins Jedward are returning to Celebrity Big Brother as Cheeky Cherubs for Tuesday?s task. The duo’s love of celebrities means that they collect autographs and souvenirs from as many as possible, where possible – so they are setting Denise and Natalie a secret mission to collect specific souvenirs from certain Housemates, to deliver back to the garden Cherubs without getting caught.

The singing twins – real names John and Edward Grimes – appeared on the last series of the show and finished in third place in September 2011. They were so popular with fans of the reality TV show that Channel 5 bosses have asked the siblings to comeback for a one off task and this afternoon they will speak through the gnome models of themselves in the Elstree garden to give secret orders to housemates.
David Walliams has been signed up for the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel, it has been reported.
The Little Britain star, who caused a bit of a furore when he insulted and jibed at X Factor stars Jedward on a recent episode of Alan Carr’s Chatty Man, has reportedly agreed to join the ITV show and commence nationwide auditions later this month.
