19 year old Sophie Habibis impressed Kelly Rowland once more when she performed at judges house last month.
The London born barmaid was elated to have been chosen as one of Kelly’s final eight contestants and before singing for the famous duo in Miami, told Dermot O’Leary:
Melanie sang Bruno Mars’ Grenade at X factor judges houses recently, but both Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson were left wanting a bit more from the performance.
The pretty Irish singer was chosen as part of the final eight female contestants and performed in Miami for the famous duo.
Before taking to the stage, at Kelly’s beachfront mansion, McCabe told Dermot:
“Never in a million years would I have dreamt I’d get this far, it’s just what dreams are made of…I’ve been watching X Factor since the very first episode and to think I’m actually one of these people that could be going to the live shows is unbelievable. I really feel like this is my moment this is the build up to what I’ve been dreaming of since I was a tiny little girl .”

However she really hit the headlines after she made her film debut in the 2006 film Dreamgirls, which won her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, an NAACP Image Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Jennifer Hudson has reportedly agreed to help Kelly Rowland at X Factor judges houses.
The Sun claims that the Destinys Child star was due to be assisted by R&B star Usher, as she whittle down her eight hopeful contestants to just four for next month’s live shows. However, he is now thought to have pulled out at the last minute and Hudson has offered to fill in.
X Factor star Leona Lewis and one time American Idol hopeful Jennifer Hudson have gotten together and recorded a song for the soundtrack of Sex And The City 2.
Leona is no newbie to the world of Hollywood soundtracks, having sang for both Avatar and Precious in the last year alone. And lets not forget that Jennifer won a best supporting actress Academy Award for her role in the 2006 musical movie Dreamgirls.
A source told The Sun: “The pair have recorded the song and it’s being discussed as either the main theme or to feature on the soundtrack.
Jennifer Hudson has admitted that she will try to emulate the parenting skills of her late mother, when raising her new son David.
The American Idol star’s mother Darnell Donerson, was shot dead last year.
Hudson told Bang Showbiz: “It’s never easy to be a mother but I have said to myself that everything I do will be guided by love. If I can be half the mom my mother was to her children, then I’m doing more than alright.”
