Jennifer Lopez is reportedly planning to stage a large concert in India next month, before the American Idol live shows kick off in The States.
The singer, actress and Idol judge has joined forces with Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra according to the Mumbai Mirror and will spend only one day in the country.
One insider told the publication:
“She will be here on March 6 and stay at a suburban five-star. Due to her rehearsals, they will ensure her hotel is not too far away from the venue.”

Jennifer Lopez will soon be adding another feather to her cap and will be doing a bit of presenting next month.
The American Idol judge has been named as one of the presenters for this year’s Oscars ceremony.
The news was confirmed yesterday by producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer, who revealed that the ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker would have a role in the upcoming 84th Academy Awards ceremony.

It’s the best news we’ve heard since Kerry Katona was eliminated from Dancing On Ice, Jennifer Lopez has signed a new contract for next year’s American Idol series.
The newly separated star – who announced her split from husband of seven years Marc Anthony last month – had previously admitted that she was unsure if she could commit enough time to the reality TV show and may decide to tour or take on more acting roles instead. However, this evening it has been confirmed that the ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker will be back.

Jennifer Lopez has given her first interview after her split from husband Marc Anthony.
The American Idol judge announced their impending divorce last month and confessed that leaving the Latin singer was the ‘hardest decision’ she’s ever made. However J-Lo does still ‘believe in love’ and admitted that her marriage problems mostly resulted out of problems with her work/life balance.
She said: “This was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to face. I really wanted this family to work. That was my biggest dream, and I worked hard at it. We both did. Sometimes it doesn’t work — and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love…It’s still my biggest dream.”

It was an unlikely result, however it has today been revealed that legendary actress Dame Helen Mirren has been voted the Body of the Year, beating stars such as Pippa Middleton to the accolade.
The 66 year old ‘Calendar Girls’ actress received 17.65% of votes in the poll, placing her just ahead of Britain and Ireland’s Top Model judge Elle Macpherson at 10%, model Kelly Brook who finished in third place, former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole in fourth and American Idol star Jennifer Lopez who came in fifth place.

Jennifer Lopez has been procrastinating over her American Idol future and many have speculated that she is holding out for a payrise before she agrees to another season.
Insiders today have claimed that executives are considering laying out a deal which would see her walking away with £21 million, if she takes up her seat alongside Steve Tyler and Randy Jackson on the hit FOX talent show for 2012.

It was a weird exchange of birthday messages, but last night, American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez tweeted a special celebratory message to Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall.
The singer and actress has spent the last three days celebrating turning 42 in Miami – enjoying a posh dinner, a boat cruise and a night on the tiles of an exclusive club – while the Scottish singer celebrated his 25th birthday in a rather more low key manner we would assume.

Jennifer Lopez seemed to be well and truly over her recent marriage breakup, when she stepped out for her 42nd birthday party last weekend.
The American Idol judge was reportedly “very happy” as she celebrated with family and friends at the Scarpetta restaurant inside in Fontainebleau hotel in Miami on Saturday and onlookers say you would never have guessed that she will be shortly heading for the divorce courts.
A source told People: “Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening dress. And when they brought out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing.

Mariah Carey was looking hot when she hit New York last night and as she was spotted enjoying a girly night out, speculation began to grow about her reported role on the X Factor USA panel.
Simon Cowell recently revealed that he is trying to find a role for Mariah Carey on his new TV talent series.
The 41 year old diva gave birth to baby twins in April of this year and so couldn’t join the panel for the auditions stages in early 2011, however the music mogul has admitted that he wants her on the show in some form or another and her idea is to become the ultimate ‘judge of judges.’
