ITV have confirmed that British rockers Coldplay will be performing on the X Factor final next week.
The ‘Fix You’ hitmakers – consisting of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion – had previously claimed that they would never appear on the ITV show but must have changed their mind, as it has been reported that they will duet with one of the three finalists on next Sunday’s show.
The grand finale will be staged in Wembley Arena and also in the linup are former show winner Leona Lewis, former runners up JLS and One Direction, along with Canadian crooner Michael Bublé.

The boys of JLS and One Direction joined the X Factor finalists last month, to film the music video for their charity single ‘Wishing On A Star.

The girls of Little Mix have ruled out any chance of a romance between them and the One Direction boys, admitting that they prefer the chiseled good looks of JLS.
After surviving tonight’s X Factor eliminattion the girls were in bright and bubbly form and when asked by an Xtra Factor caller to pick their favourite One Direction or JLS member, they all opted for the older men.

Aston Merrygold has admitted that he thinks the judges made the right decision on The X Factor tonight.
The JLS singer was on the live show this evening, performing this year’s charity single with the final 15 acts and witnessed the sing off between Misha B and Janet Devlin first hand.
When asked later on The Xtra Factor if he agreed with the panel’s decision to send Janet home, he confessed:

The X Factor finalists returned to the stage tonight, to perform their rendition of Rose Royce’s ‘Wishing On A Star’.
The group were joined by former show stars JLS and One Direction for the performance of the song they have released today as the X Factor’s 2011 charity single.

Gary Barlow has admitted that when he met JLS a few weeks ago, they very much reminded him of his own boyband Take That.
JLS met the X Factor judge when they performed on the ITV show a few weeks ago and it seems like they made quite the impression. Barlow praised them on Loose Women today, saying he admires ‘how nice’ they are to their fans and supporters and claimed they are very like him, Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Robbie William and Howard Donald when they were younger.

Simon Cowell roped in the former stars of the ITV show – probably two of the most successful acts to have ever moved on from the series – to join the lineup for the new version of Rose Royce’s ‘Wishing On A Star.’

Marcus Collins is currently the bookies favourite to win this year’s X Factor series and it seems that he is getting strong support from a whole host of former contestants too.
The Liverpudlian singer revealed that he has been getting advice from JLS – one of the most successful acts to ever come from the ITV show – and also last year’s runner up Rebecca Ferguson, who releases her debut single this month.

Oritsé Williams has revealed who he is backing on this year’s X Factor series.
The hunky JLS singer – who returned to the ITV show last weekend to perform their new single Take A Chance On Me – told The Liverpool Echo that he has been blown away by the former Eton Road singer’s talent and thinks he is on a ‘different level’ from all the other contestants on the show.

JLS singer Marvin Humes has hit out at Frankie Cocozza for ruining his own chances on The X Factor.
The 18 year old singer was sensationally axed from the ITV show on Tuesday, after he was accused of breaking one of the producers’ ‘golden rules’. It has since been reported that he was kicked off for drug taking.
Former show runners up JLS have claimed that the Brighton lad messed up a massive opportunity for his career and Marvin Humes told The Daily Star:
