Christopher Biggins, who of course took part in I’m A Celebrity in 2007, claims that Joan Collins turned down an offer of £1million to go into the Celebrity Big Brother house…

And he also revealed that if Joan signed up, he too would become a contestant, bagging a very nice fee of £300,000 for his participation.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Christopher said, “I was offered £300,000 to take part in the most recent series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ on Channel 5.

After last Wednesday’s fishy declaration of love, which saw The Only Way Is Essex star James ‘Arg’ Argent turn up at new girlfriend, Gemma Collins house wearing nothing but a thong and bow tie and carrying a pink fish tank to cover his modesty, this week fans of the show will see him replace the tank between his legs with a tail, as he apologises to Gemma’s mum, Joan Collins, saying:  “I think I might have to apologise about what you had to see the other night.”

However, Joan doesn’t seem to phased by the display, and tells him: “I’m used to it. I don’t blush at all at anything like that – I’ve seen it all before.”
