Boxing champion Joe Bugner has claimed that ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is fixed.

Joe claims that he had no chance of winning his task against Stuart Manning, as it involved reading letters using an ultraviolet light and he has bad eyesight.

Bugner told The Sun: “I’m convinced it was a fix. In fact I know it. Do I think they wanted to keep Stuart because of his lovey-dovey friendship with Sabrina? Well, of course I do. It’s obvious. It was rigged – absolutely!”

However, an ITV spokesman said: “I can categorically tell you that Joe’s eviction was not rigged.”

On whether a romance is brewing between Manning and Washinton Bugner said: “There is definitely something in the air. All they have to do is come out and say they like each other.

“The reason there has been no romance on the set is because there is no place you can hide. My advice to Stuart is this – Don’t be a coward. If you are going to move on a girl, then move.”

ITV bosses are said to be disappointed that Joe Bugner was put out of I’m A Celebrity this week and worry that his departure will lead to another drop in ratings for the show.

The jungle based series already lost viewers when Katie Price walked out last week and producers are worried that now controversial Joe has gone, more will tune out.

A show source told The Sun: “Joe leaving was the last thing bosses wanted.

“He has been the centre of attention and has helped to create quite a few arguments. Stuart’s a nice guy but is seriously dull.

“They can’t have the interesting people picked off. Ratings might tumble even further.”

Joe said: “I didn’t want to go. I wanted to stay till the end.

“I’ve had a wonderful time. I knew from the word go that the youth would take over here and I’m happy for Stuart.”

Joe Bugner has become the sixth celebrity to leave the I’m A Celebrity jungle, after he lost to Stuart in the Bushtucker Trial Jungle Jail.

On hearing the news the former boxing champion said: “I didn’t want to go, I wanted to stay to the end.

“I’ve had a wonderful time, I knew from the word go that the youth would take over here, but the experience alone was fantastic. I can now go home to my grandchildren and tell them what it was all about. ”

The worst bit had to be that Joe had to leave without saying goodbye to the other campmates.

Strangely the other contestants had predicted that Joe would win.

George said: “There’s a winner and a loser, Joe will take the attitude that he will win it, he has the mentality of a champion whereas Stuart is a team player.”

Gino added: “One to one, Joe has to win.”

Even Stuart didn’t have much faith in his ability to win, he said. “Joe’s so mentally strong and used to going one to one. He’s a formidable opponent, a big lad and very strong minded.”

The actor and boxer polled the lowest amount of public votes and Ant explained:

“When you get to jungle jail, you’ll face a head-to-head trial. The winner will return here to camp. The loser will leave.”

It is one of the most vile and stomach retching trials to date and the public decided that the Bushtucker Trial dream team of Kim Woodburn and Joe were the perfect pair to be put through it.

Kim told the public: “You are very mean, it’s my fourth one – it’s a test of my mettle.”

Dec welcomed Kim and Joe to The Jungle Arms and the first two drinks were then brought to the table. Dec explained: “This is Castlemaine Four Legs, its pulped cockroaches and mealworms with a couple of live cockroaches as a garnish. Each drink is worth one star; to win it you have to drink the entire contents of your glass, don’t worry about the live cockroaches.”

Kim and Joe toasted each other ‘chin, chin’ before attempting to drink the cocktails. She said to Dec: “It doesn’t blow my skirt up, I’m not passing I wouldn’t give you the pleasure,” as both she and Joe down the drink.

Ant described the second round: “This is a Foreskin and Tonic, its pulped crocodile foreskin, garnished with a crocodile penis stirrer, once again each one is worth one star. You only have to drink the drink.”

Kim looked disgusted and said: “In the name of God. It’s vile.” Joe claimed it tasted like washing up liquid.

For round three, Dec said: “In front of you are a couple of Bum and Coke’s that’s pulped kangaroo anus and water. There’s also a kangaroo paw in there if you want to give it a stir. Knock back the lot and that’s one star each. You only have to have the drink, don’t worry about the paw.”

The fourth round was Croc-Tail, pulped crocodile tail with a croc tail stirrer.

“The smell is atrocious, it smells like poo, it’s so bad you can die,” said Kim. “Tastes like popcorn to me,” said Joe.

The fifth and final round, the last two drinks and this time the celebrities have a choice.

The first one was a Sam-Puka. That’s pulped Witchetty grub, with a Witchetty grub garnish.

The second one was an Eye-Ball, a glass of crushed crocs eyes with a croc eye garnish. Dec explained that if they managed to drink both – making it 10 stars in total – it could win the camp a chocolate treat.

Kim and Joe agreed that it would be worth downing the drinks for the chocolate and opted for the Sam-Puka – which is exactly what Kim did when she downed it. As soon as she drunk some of the vile concoction, it involuntary came straight back up spewing green slime over her.

“I’ve sicked a little bit but not much,” she confessed to Ant and Dec who could hardly contain their laughter. Ant said: “We can’t take that one, will you give it another go?”

Joe chipped in: “My girl will take the other one, don’t look at it first though Kim and don’t make me fall out with you.”

Clearly made of sturdy stuff Kim took hold of the glass and said: “When it hits my throat it makes me gag,” and with that drank the glass of witchetty grub down in one.

Joe said of the challenge: “It was disgusting but if I had to live on it, I would. It’s good that we’re able to feed the kids back at camp but I wouldn’t do it again. It’s a thrill for us to take the chocolate treat back home.”

Kim added: “If I had to live on it, I’d hang myself from the nearest tree.”

The dream team returned triumphant to camp. When Kim told George about throwing up the drink then managing to keep the next one down, he said to her: “You are some piece of work – amazing.”

Last night on Live From Studio Five, Strictly Come Dancing judge, Alesha Dixon sensationally suggested that I’m A Celebrity… contestant, Joe Bugner is “either racist or doesn’t like women” whilst discussing her ex band mate Sabrina Washington’s progress on the show.

When asked about Joe’s treatment of Sabrina, Alesha said:

“He has been a bit mean to Sabrina…Well he is either racist or he doesn’t like women, one of the two.”

“He was calling her, calling her thick- she is far from it and he said she couldn’t cook – she is a great cook! I thought why is he picking on her, what’s he playing at but, she will not take any crap from anyone.”

Alesha also gave her opinions on who she thinks should win Strictly Come Dancing:

She said: “Well I’m hopping secretly that Ali or Ricky are gonna get to the final. And then at that point I don’t mind, although the others are improving each week Ricky and Ali are a little bit further ahead. They are the furthest ahead, so you know. And you want the final to be exciting.”

On tonight’s I’m A Celebrity the campmates sat around the fire as they waited for their dinner to arrive and started a game of Truth Or Dare. Colin immediately asked Stuart if he fancied Sabrina, a question that Stuart dodged answering by diplomatically saying “I don’t know her well enough to know.”

Kim was next when Justin asked whether Kim had ever found herself in the ‘nappy position’ (He explained to Sam that it was when you had your ankles around your ears!). “I can honestly say that for the whole of my life, never” Kim replied.

Jimmy asked Joe if he’d ever been with more than one woman at the same time. “Yes” replied Joe straight away. Joe asked Gino if he’d ever had sex with a man. “Me with a man alone?” Gino asked. “Never me with a man alone” he answered.

Gino asked Colin if he and Justin had ever made love with somebody else, man or woman together. “No never” replied Colin.

Sam confessed that she’s had sex outside with her partner, Stuart said that he’d never had a threesome and then asked Sabrina if shed ever been unfaithful in a relationship to which she answered no. Gino joked that if he was going to marry someone it would be the first thing that he asked.

And Joe said “I’ve been in an orgy with more than five women. I wasn’t worried about the men there trust me.” And Sabrina said that she would never have sex with a woman.

Colin asked George who the greatest lover he had ever had was. George replied “This is gonna be a tough question. I think the question is be honest and discreet. You have to give me a second because I have a rather large directory. I was 18, she was 28. In the words of whatever she turned me out. She taught me everything I know. It was unbelievable and it served to benefit not only me but many others.

Katie Price and Joe Bugner were voted to do today’s I’m a Celebrity Bush Tucker Trial but as Katie left the jungle, someone else had to replace her in the challenge.

After returning from the bush telegraph hut, Colin McAllister read a note from producers. “This morning Katie and Joe were voted by the pubic to do the trial. As Katie decided to leave the jungle before she could earn food for the camp, the trial must now be completed but Joe and the next placed Celebrity. This is Kim.”

Kim said “When I found out I was doing the trial with Joe. I didn’t mind at all. We had our words last night but we’re adults. You know, heat of the moment. I said what I said and he said what he said but we’re friends, we’re adults.”

Joe added “I’m really excited because it’s my first trial and I don’t know what I’m going to confront. And people think because I’m 6 foot 4 and weigh 120 kgs, I can handle everything but quite the opposite. I don’t like taking on the little critters. I’m sure there’s going to be some beast in there. I think Kim and I will make a great team because for the simple reason that we don’t take any nonsense and unfortunately she’s a tall lady and I’ve got to watch myself because I don’t think I’m as fast as I used to be because if she throws a right cross I might be caught under the chin.”

“Or a kick in the wotsits with my boot” she added.

Kim and Joe head to their Bush Tucker Trial. Greeted by Ant & Dec, the pair were told the rules of the challenge.

This challenge involved teamwork and would see one of them blindfolded and controlling a weighted crane which hoisted the other celebrity in and over a floating pit filled with 8-10 feet long black headed pythons guarding the 11 possible stars.

Working together, the celebrity placed in the hoist must verbally direct the celebrity at the crane’s controls to get the stars and meals for camp.

Kim and Joe were warned by Medic Bob: ‘Whoever goes in the pit must go slowly, the pythons have six rows of teeth, about 90 teeth all pointed backwards. If one should bite, be calm and I”ll come in and detach the snake.’

Said Ant: ‘It’s a tough one this, who’s going in and who’s going to operate the crane?’

Kim quickly offered to operate the crane. Joe said: ‘I’m going in the pit because I don’t think it would be fair to send Kim in.’

With 15 minutes to get the 11 stars out of the pit and join them to the markers surrounding the pit, Joe was hoisted into the air and horizontally over the pit. As he put his hand into the pit, Dec said: ‘Be careful Joe, they look angry.’

Kim struggled to lift and move the heavy crane and with Joe not being crystal clear with his lefts and rights, Joe ended up being raised up instead of down and left instead of right and almost dropped straight into the pit. However by time up, they had successfully collected 9 stars and anchored them safely to their markers.

Asked by Ant and Dec how he felt it went, Joe said: ‘It was hard enough being in the pit but with a lady doing the driving up, down, left and right it’s really difficult.’

Kim added: ‘We hit it off, Joe I’m awfully proud of you.’

I’m A Celebrity’s Kim Woodburn had another of her infamous rants on tonight’s show, this time directed at boxing champion Joe Bugner.

The bush hamper arrived in camp and contained racks of Australian lamb. Stuart offered to cook but when Joe began interfering and putting Stuart down, Kim jumped in, all guns blazing.

Kim blasted: “Joe, you do it.”

Joe replied: “No, he’s got to learn darling.” Kim replied: “No he doesn’t want to learn”.

Kimcontinued: “I’d rather you do it. You’ve done no cooking. He’s done so much [Stuart].

Joe replied: “No, I’m not going to cook.”

Kim interrupted: “No, just a minute. You’ve come down here telling us exactly how to cook. You’re in the group as well. Please cook this meal. Either shut up or do it but leave that young man alone. Too many cooks spoil the broth. If you’re not going to cook, hop it and let this young man do it. I will not have you talk to him like that.” and she stood and approached Joe.

Joe tried to calm Kim to no avail.

Kim, angry now, shouted: “Don’t you dare speak to me. Don’t you dare speak to me like that ever.” “Oh Jesus, well sit down,” said Joe.

Kim continued “You disgust me and I’ll tell you why.”

She then referred to an earlier comment that Joe made. “My darling, when I heard a boxer of six foot four today looked across at that young girl [Katie] and say, ‘Because you’re willing to do some of the trials aren’t you? if we can’t do them.’ Oh my goodness me. Joe you should be ashamed of yourself. That’s shameful what you said to that girl.”

But Joe defended himself, adding: “I praised that little one. Praised her. You shoot your mouth off for no reason.” But Kim replied: “A six foot four boxer wants little Katie to do more?”

“Yes absolutely, she’s the bravest one of all of us,” said Joe. “Well you’re not darling are you?” Kim said.

Joe told Kim: “You’ve really embarrassed me now Kim, I thought you were a nice lady. I think you’ve got a couple of loose ones,” as he pointed to his head.

Justin tried to mediate and said: “Why don’t we calm this down and the three of us will cook it.” Joe replied: “That’s a good idea, beautiful,” but walked off.

Later Kim returned to the camp fire and Joe immediately got up and sat next to her, placed his arm around her and kissed her neck in an attempt to make peace.

Yesterday in I’m A Celebrity jungle camp, Katie Price asked Joe Bugner if in his hey day he had lots of women as he had previously commented that he was “a bit of a boy?”

Colin interjected that was his “Rolls Royce picking up the chicks?” and Katie shocked the former boxer when she said, “In the club, ‘champong’ all round you. They’re all taking the piss out of you nicking your drink. You thinking, ‘Yeah I’m going to take you home tonight, open your legs and give you one, you dirty bitch.’ Then you’re f*cking off.”

A stunned Joe replied: “That kind of language has never come out of my mouth dear. I never had to go that far.”

Justin then asked Joe: “What’s the most amount of girls you’ve ever had ever in your life, ever at one time?”

Joe answered: “I’ve been accused of a thousand.” Justin asked in total but Joe replied: “No, at that period, 20 years ago.”

Katie then added: “I can guarantee, I don’t know about you [to Sabrina] I know exactly how many people I’ve slept with, do you?”

Admitting that she was a “good Catholic girl” Sabrina revealed that she had: “two or three serious partners. It was long term for me.”

Katie then asked: “So you’ve only slept with three people?”

Sabrina nodded and Katie then replied: “That’s so pre you’re going to have so many men after you. What I mean is its ‘virginey’. Whereas me I’d rather a man slept around like you would not believe so then they’re experienced. They’ve tired it, tested it and now they’ve got me. Been there done it worn the t-shirt.”

Going back to Sabrina’s previous revelation, she said: “That’s really good that is, bloody good. I haven’t had that many even though everyone thinks I have. The only one night stand I’ve had he done that story on me a couple of months ago. That Brazilian.”

Colin interjected: “Sex is just sex isn’t it.” But Katie chastised him by saying: “But that’s where you’re wrong Mr Sunshine. It’s the chemistry.”

Colin then added: “People talk too much about sex because they’re not doing it.”

But Katie replied: “Well we’re talking about it because we’re bored.” Colin then joked: “We ain’t having sex and we ain’t eating!”
