Presenter LAURA WHITMORE, former King of The Jungle JOE SWASH and award winning comedian, RUSSELL KANE are heading to the jungle next month to host ITV2′s I’m A Celebrity.Get Me Out Of Here Now!

Our lively trio will be joined by a celebrity panel to give their verdicts on this year’s jungle antics, discussing and dissecting the events from the camp live after every show.

Laura Whitmore, who is best known for presenting on MTV Europe will be showing ITV2 viewers her vivacious personality for the second time after she previously hosted the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts on the channel.

Former King of The Jungle Joe Swash will know first hand what its like to survive in the harsh conditions of the camp whilst taking on those dreaded Bush Tucker Trials.

Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Russell Kane returns and will be on hand to give us his view on all the jungle antics. He’ll also explore the viewers’ forums, tweets and Facebook comments to see what the fans really think of the latest batch of celebrities.

Laura Whitmore said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ family. I can’t wait to get stuck into jungle life, though I will try my best to avoid all those creepy crawlies. I’m really looking forward to getting into all sorts of mischief and mayhem with Joe and Russell. The excitement level is officially off the scale!”

Joe Swash said: “”I’m really chuffed to be part of the team again this year and I can’t wait to be reunited with Russell again and this year we’ve got sexy newbie Laura joining us – now all we need to know is the line up!”

Russell Kane said: “I’m as stoked as a Victorian fireplace to be going back jungle-side. Sharing a portacabin with Joe: what’s not to love. and as for Whitmore… Phwoar!

Even though he’s going to miss her on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now, Joe Swash has admitted that he thinks Caroline Flack was the perfect choice for ITV2′s The Xtra Factor.

The former Eastenders actor, who fronted the I’m A Celeb spinoff alongside the brunette beauty said that Flack was linked to the show last year, even while Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq was still fronting it in her own very wooden style.

Joe told BANG Showbiz: “Caroline’s name was being banded around for ‘The Xtra Factor’ even when Konnie was still doing it. She’s the only person who could hold it together and be funny and cool enough for that job. If I was a producer I would go hell for leather for Caroline.

“Konnie was doing it on her own, which is difficult. Some jobs just aren’t suitable for you. Konnie is good at other stuff and she’s an amazing presenter when she’s on the right show.

“They needed someone more edgy, Caroline is perfect for that show. She’s got a dirty sense of humour and I think ‘The Xtra Factor’ needs that.”

Joe however won’t be apart from Caroline for long, as they are both now presenting ITV2′s ‘Minute To Win It’and while he would have loved to continue their on screen partnership on The Xtra Factor, Swash did concede that Olly Murs is doing a good job in his place.

He added: “You know what, I would have loved to have gone on ‘The Xtra Factor’ with Caroline. But I suppose Olly’s got the history with ‘The X Factor’ and a massive fan base, there are girls chasing him around everywhere.

“Caroline and Olly get along like me and her do so you can see how it would work straight away.”

‘Minute To Win It’, presented by Cadbury Spots v Stripes, is on Tuesdays at 8pm on ITV2.

Presenter Joe Swash was apparently worried that he would lose his ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here, NOW!’ presenting job when his co-host Caroline Flack quit the show.

The 29-year-old TV host – who’s presented the ITV2 spin-off series alongside Russell Kane and Caroline for the past two years – admitted that when Caroline announced she would be leaving to present ‘The Xtra Factor’ he was concerned show bosses would use the opportunity to “shake up” the show’s format.

Joe exclusively told BANG Showbiz, “It’s absolutely the best job in the world…

“And when Caroline said she was going, I was a bit worried about what they’d do with me, we come as a pair.

“I thought they might use the opportunity to shake up the format and get someone new on there.

“I’m just over the moon that I’m still on it.”

Joe, who also presents new ITV2 game show ‘Minute To Win It’ alongside Caroline, added that if another guy joins him and Russell on ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ it will become a “c**k fest”, and he’ll be disappointed because he won’t have anyone to flirt with.

He added, “They might well get a guy, but if they do it’s going to become a total c**k-fest.

“I think they just don’t want people to compare whoever it ends up being to Caroline.

“If they do go with a boy it will be a shame because I’m not going to have anyone to flirt with for a month.

“But they don’t trust me with anything, so I have no idea who’s going to be co-presenting. I only find out about the contestants from what my mum reads in the papers!

“I can’t be trusted with any important information because I get drunk and tell everyone.”

Nahum Effiks made his TV debut this evening, on ITV’s Born To Shine.

The talented teenager took to the stage and demonstrated his beat boxing skills, to Ben E King’s classic track ‘Stand By Me.’

Looking pretty suave is his light purple shirt the young hunk easily produced drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds with his mouth and looked pretty darn pleased with himself as he won a massive round of applause at the end.

However, Nahum was also on the show tonight, to support former Eastenders star Joe Swash, who he has been teaching beatboxing to for the last month.

During rehearsals Joe looked perplexed by the amount of noises he was expected to make and as he messed and joked, 16 year old Nahum laughed:

‘He’s a teenager in a man’s body!’

On the live show, Swash performed to Reel 2 Real’s ‘I Like To Move It’ and after watching his practice sessions our hopes weren’t high for Joe, but in the end, the bits we could hear over the backing track weren’t too bad and he only seemed to lose timing once or twice.

Judges Comments:

Denise Van Outen: The timing was out but you put your personality into it and got the whole crowd going and that’s why we love you Joe.

Jason Gardiner: Joe I have to say, we worked together and I am just impressed that you can shut up long enough to do something else with your mouth. You started off really, really well, I was so impressed, because that’s not easy but it kind of got away from you but you had the attitude and it was entertaining, it really was.

Chipmunk: Joe you’re cool, well done mate and do you know what, you are definitely a crowd entertainer man.

The Sun reports that the pair, who co-hosted the I’m A Celeb spin-off show, will be team captains on Minute to Win It later this summer.

The panel based game show, which sees two teams facing “madcap challenges”, is a big hit with viewers in the US where it’s aired on NBC.

Comedian Darren McMullen, who fronts the Aussie version, will also host the UK version.

An insider said, “Caroline and Joe made a great double act on I’m a Celeb and producers couldn’t wait to reunite them.”

Caroline is also presenting the The Xtra Factor with Olly Murs later this year.

Caroline Flack and Joe Swash were the second act to perform on tonight’s Let’s dance For Comic Relief.

The pair are best known as the hosts of ITV2′s I’m A Celebrity get Me Out Of Here Now and earlier today we revealed that the former Eastenders star just can’t keep his hands off the telly beauty!

The news was less of a shock when we found out that they would be performing to My Humps by Fergie.

Caroline looked AMAZING and really put Joe to shame. She could actually move while Joe looked like my dad, at a family wedding. Flack’s skintight top left little to the imagination and would put money on her getting a LOT of calls from lads mags wanting to feature her tomorrow.

John Bishop quipped: “I am loving the polo neck, loving it! You were a cross between Torvill and Dean and My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding!”

Felix Dexter joked:

“The fact that you could make a dance that was titled My Hump not have any innuendo at all was marvellous.”

While Jo Brand said: “I thought it was like proper dancing Caroline and Joe I loved you too because you just walked around trying not to laugh and that’s what Comic Relief is all about.”

Joe Swash has admitted that he can’t keep his hands of his Let’s Dance For Comic Relief partner Caroline Flack.

The pair – who co-host ITV2′s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of here Now – have been busy rehearsing for tonight’s charity dance special and the brunette beauty admitted to The Sun that sometimes Joe suffers from a case of wandering hands.

She laughed:

“Joe sometimes gets a bit lost. He says it’s accidental, but… ”

Joe joked of the partnership: “It’s like a marriage with none of the perks.”

The former Eastenders actor also admitted that he has strained some of his bum muscles while practising. He said:

“My bum cheeks are really sore. There is a muscle there I’ve never used before.”

ITV Bosses are reportedly planning to celebrate the show’s tenth anniversary by making an Ultimate Jungle camp and including some of the shows most memorable camp mates.

The channel is keen to run with the all-star concept but it has been reported that they are having a difficult time convincing the personalities, as many have deep issues with other celebrities being considered for the show.

Possible campmates so far include Gillian McKeith, Janice Dickinson and Katie Price, although it it is thought to be very unlikely that Gillian would put herself through that again, after facing every fear a human could possibly have in her brief stay last year.

Other past celebrities have expressed an interest in joining the lineup, but none of them without proviso’s. Kerry Katona has reportedly said that she would be interested in doing it, especially if Peter Andre or Joe Swash take part, but only if Katie Price does NOT.

Of course, from a public morbid fascination point of view, the whole world will be waiting with baited breath to see if ITV bosses could manage to get Katie Price and Peter Andre to sign up, we might have ourselves another Preston and Chantelle situation?

Kara Tointon has revealed that she is still great friends with her ex-boyfriend Joe Swash, but admitted that they don’t spend a lot of time talking about her new relationship with Artem Chigvintsev

The Strictly Come Dancing winner has been dating the Russian dancer since late last year, he has even been to meet her parents and family. However, the beauty admitted that if she and Joe want to remain pals, they had to agree not to discuss their respective romances.

‘Joe and I are very good mates,’ Kara, 27, told Now.

‘We always will be.

‘We tend not to talk to each other about relationships, so I suppose it was a bit of a shock when he read about Artem and me because I hadn’t told him myself.

‘But I think if we want to remain friends we just don’t go there.’

Joe, 29, admitted that he was ‘hurt’ when he discovered Kara was with Artem and stopped watching Strictly as he couldn’t bear to see them together.

However, Kara claims that they are over the issue now and added:

‘We get on really well and after he did that interview we spoke and had a joke about it.’

‘It’s always awkward with an ex.’

Former King Of The Jungle, Joe Swash has reportedly been declared bankrupt. Despite landing a TV deal with Living which saw him shadowing Pamela Anderson for a fly on the wall show, Joe was unable to pay £20,000 that he owed the taxman.

The bankruptcy was made official today at London’s High Court of Justice. Thankfully Joe will escape much of the media furore as he is currently in Australia, for an appearance on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.

Joe’s agent Becca Barr told The Sun: “Joe has not been around to sort this out.

“The bankruptcy should never have gone through. He’s not in financial difficulty – he’s fine. There was a tax issue which will be resolved imminently. Everyone has to pay tax and Joe knows he is no exception.”

A court source said: “Joe has clearly made efforts to head off the bankruptcy but hasn’t been able to find the full amount quickly enough.

“It means the Official Receiver is now in control of his money and his accounts will effectively be frozen.

“The bankruptcy is purely down to tax debts – there are no other creditors listed on the petition.”
