John and Edward Grimes have revealed that they will return to The X Factor this year.

The former contestants told MTV that they will sing their new single on the ITV show and described what their set will look like.

John said: “We’d love to make a return to the X Factor stage this year, it’d be really cool. It will be a big surprise! We’re going to be singing a new song from our album. It’s our brand new single.”

Edward added: “We’re going to create a big hotel, like build a massive building and then the wall will be removed, and you’ll see me and John in a really spooky house.

“It’s going to happen. John and Edward the return! We could go back onto the stage and perform ‘Ghostbusters’!”

John and Edward Grimes have revealed that they are planning to do a Britney Spears and shave their heads.

The X Factor twins joked that their management wouldn’t be happy with the new look but added that they feel it’s time for a change.

John, 18, told The Sun: “We’re going to have a change. Go to the barber’s and get it all shaved off.

“We might get in trouble but we like breaking the rules all the time. We’ll definitely do it.”

He laughed: “I’m going to contact Britney Spears and ask her how her management dealt with it when she shaved her hair off.”

Jedward are raking in the money these days. Their debut album may have bombed and only reached number 17 in the UK charts but with their Shake n Vac campaign, their new fashion line and now a sweetie deal, the boys aren’t going to be claiming Jobseekers allowance any time soon!

Newspapers report that the X Factor twins are close to signing a deal worth £30,000, which will see them becoming the face of new line Rowntree’s Randoms. The sweet treats will reportedly be modeled on John and Edward’s quiffs.

An insider told The Sun: “The boys are so excited at this deal that during meetings to discuss it they ate ten packets.”

For this week’s shopping task housemates must fight all their natural instincts and Ignore the Obvious.

Since yesterday housemates have been doing their best to ignore various distractions Big Brother has sent into the house including a brass band, a male stripper, Mario’s grandfather, Zombies and voice of Big Brother Marcus Bentley.

Tomorrow Big Brother is upping the ante with some very special guests.

DAVINA McCALL will be presenting part of tomorrow’s Big Brother double bill from inside the house. Housemates will have to ignore the fact that Davina is there so they don’t incur any more fails in their attempt to win a premium shopping budget this week and messages from home.

Also in the house tomorrow JEDWARD will be playing their new single All the Small Things from the Big Brother garden. The Irish pair said “We are really excited to be playing our new single in the Big Brother house. The housemates have been doing really well at this task but we are going to make it really hard for them to ignore us”.

John and Edward Grimes have admitted that they want to try to launch their career in America.

The X Factor siblings told Celebritain that they want to have their own reality TV show airing Stateside and admit that they have already talked to industry insiders about the move.

“I want to have our own TV show, something really controversial, something with American artists on, like X Factor but better,” Edward said.

“I’d like to go on Good Morning America, it’s on a different level and we’ve had talks with Vanilla Ice and the head guy at Universal. We’d like to do something like our new ITV2 series, but out there.”

Edward also revealed that he and his twin are both keen to land some “serious” movie roles.

“We want to do acting, though, like a really big movie,” he said.

“We don’t want to do a musical, we want to do something that’s so far away from what we’re known from. People can think ‘Oh John and Edward would do that anyway’, so we need to do new things that people won’t expect. We want really serious movie roles.”

He added: “At the moment we’re concentrating the UK and Ireland, but next year America.”

ITV2 has commissioned a three-part special from RDF Television entitled Jedward: Home Alone, which will follow X Factor’s twin phenomenon as they take their biggest step yet – leaving home.

Jedward: Home Alone is an access-all-areas pass to their private lives as, following their success on the X Factor, the duo leave the room they share at their family home. The series will film their trial run at cutting their aprons strings and attempting to set up home by themselves for a week. And in their new flat, in the heart of a hip part of Dublin, they will live in separate rooms for the first time in their lives.

The cameras will capture an intimate look at Jedward’s lives as they try to fend for themselves and cope with simple tasks that come with living on their own. Without any help from their mum, the duo will have to get stuck into to decorating, DIY, dining and maybe even dating. Will they cope or decide to run back home to their mum?

Viewers will meet their family and get the inside track on the hype and hysteria surrounding the nation’s favourite twins. The series will also follow them as they prepare for the launch of their new album, perform onstage, and deal with their fame whilst trying to adapt to their new surroundings and independence.

Jedward said: “We are so excited that we have our own show. People find it hard to define us and hopefully the show will give viewers and our fans an insight into our world during a really exciting point in our lives launching our debut album.”

Jedward: Home Alone (working title) is an RDF Television production for ITV2. The series was ordered by Zai Bennett, Director of Digital Channels and Acquisitions at ITV and commissioned by Katy Thorogood, ITV’s Commissioning Editor Factual and Daytime. The executive producer is Jim Allen, RDF Television.

Katy Thorogoood said: “Ever since the X Factor, people have been fascinated by Jedward. Now’s our chance to find out what goes on in their unique world. We’re looking forward to working with RDF on this brand new ITV2 series which will give our viewers exclusive access to their lives.”

18 year old Edward Grimes was rushed to a London hospital last night, with a suspected broken leg.

The quiffed X Factor star injured himself whilst performing Ghostbusters at T4 On The Beach on Sunday. Fans saw him fall on stage, then struggle to get up and rejoin the routine, before medics took him off the stage.

A spokesperson for the Irish duo said: “We think he’s broken his leg and at the very least has badly twisted the ligament in his knee.”

Jedward’s manager and X Factor judge Louis Walsh told The Daily Mail:

“It was live TV and that’s what can happen on live TV. They were excited to be performing in front of 70,000 people and we hope he’s all right.”

JLS star Ortise performed after Jedward and later took to Twitter to write:

“BIG RESPECT to JEDWARD. 1 of them broke their ankle on stage & still carried on till the end! Say wat u want but that’s a performer. Oritsé.”

X Factor stars John and Edward Grimes have admitted that they would love to be adopted by Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

The singing twins think they would fit in well with Brangelina’s ever expanding brood and told Now magazine.

‘Angelina’s, like, oh-so hot. Whoa! Seriously!’ Ed admitted.

‘It would be really cool to be adopted by them.’

On his prospective new brothers and sisters Ed added:

‘They could buy us new clothes and we could hang out with Shiloh.’

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has claimed that his protégées, John and Edward Grimes, are going to be HUGE this year.

The twins were recently dropped by their record label Sony BMG but were signed by Universal the very next day. Yesterday the pair recorded a new jingle for the revamped Shake and Vac advert and reports suggest that they may be making an appearance on the final Big Brother series this summer.

Their X Factor mentor Louis Walsh, told the Daily Star: “Jedward are going to be so big this year, mark my words.

“Everyone is going crazy for them.

“These guys are on the road to make £2m this year.”

He revealed that the twins are in talks with ITV2 about their own reality TV show and added:

“They’ll also be supporting Westlife and have started recording their debut album.”

Just shows what a lack of talent and a hoard of teenage fans can do for a career!

X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes are reportedly set to make an appearance on the UK’s final Big Brother series this summer.

The ‘singers’ will not be full time housemates, as they will be spending much of the summer promoting their debut album. They will instead be brought in to shock the normal contestants along with a host of other ‘surprise guests.’

A source told The Sun: “They will make compulsive viewing. It might be for a night or maybe longer.”

John and Edward appeared on Big Brother spin off show BBLB earlier this year.
