We’ve been waiting all day and at 9.55pm this evening, this year’s first full length Big Brother promo aired on Channel 5.

It was like a who’s who of famous BB faces from years gone by and we had quite a lot of fun spotting and naming some of our favourite (and also most annoying) housemates.

We have compiled most of them in a list below, though we know there are some names missing, so feel free to leave a comment below if you can identify any more.

The video starts out with Makosi on the phone and leads into various cast members dancing and miming to an adaptation of David Guetta’s popular dance track – When Love Takes Over renamed When Bruv Takes Over and at the end, as all the BB stars gathered in what looked like a massive field, Marcus Bentley exclaimed:

‘It’s back and it’s ready to take over your summer! Big Brother 2011 starts with Celebrity Big Brother, coming soon to Channel 5.’

John McCririck has been evicted from Ultimate Big Brother. He received 50.6% of the total votes in one of the closest results ever and spent only 4 days in the Big Brother House.

John started the show on Tuesday, hoping that he would be evicted first. He took a hand made sign saying ‘Evict Me’ into the house and showed it to the cameras in the diary room during his first visit. The 70 year old even undertook a Tree Of Temptation task, after the chest of drawers threatened to make him immune from eviction tonight.

Coolio looked delighted to have survived the public vote and Davina looked elated that John actually spoke on his exit. He has been staging a silent protest for more than a day and threatening not to give an interview tonight, if he was voted off. In the end, he was too excited to be going home and forgot to stay quiet.

View the original post John McCririck evicted from Ultimate Big Brother on Unreality TV

Late on Tuesday night as the Ultimate Big Brother housemates were settling in to their new abode the Tree of Temptation struck setting John McCririck a task… to be nice.

John was told that to pass the task he must compliment his fellow housemates and be nice. If he did this he would win a broadsheet newspaper each day in the Diary Room. If John failed the task he would be immune from nomination, thus thwarting his plans to be evicted this Friday. If he failed to even attempt the task he would get fast tracked to the final.

John spent Friday night and some of Saturday paying compliments to housemates. Earlier today the Ultimate housemates were gathered on the sofa and asked to vote if they thought ‘John was a nice man’. All housemates raised their hands, voting that John was indeed nice.

John has therefore passed the task and will not incur the wrath of the Tree. He is therefore able to be nominated. The first round of nominations has just begun.

John McCririck became the first Ultimate Big Brother housemate to be set a task by the Tree Of Temptation last night.

The racing pundit was alone in the bathroom, when the tree started speaking about his time in the previous Celebrity BB house. It said:

“You were a horrid vile creature then and from what I can see you still are!”

John, 70, responded:

“What about you? Who are you to talk? Look at you!”

But he soon changed his tune when the Tree offered him a treat.

“How would you like to get a broadsheet newspaper, delivered to you every day you’re in here?” he was asked”

“Oh yeah. I’ll do anything,” he whispered, “whatever you want.”

The TOT explained:

“Ok then listen Walrus face. I want you to do the thing that comes hardest to you, for once in your life I want you to be pleasant to other people. I want you to become Mr Nice Guy!

John McCririck is back and so is his horrible underwear.

The racing pundit returned to the Big Brother house last night, for the first and final series of Ultimate BB. He is joined on the show by glamourous girls Chantelle Houghton, Ulrika Jonsson and Nikki Grahame and we can’t imagine that any of them were too happy to see the 70 year old lounging around in these baggy white pants.

As if the underwear wasn’t bad enough, the sight of those moobs wobbling around the kitchen, would be enough to put anyone off their dinner!

John McCririck was devastated this morning, when he awoke to find that two cans of his beloved diet coke had burst in the freezer overnight.

The racing pundit, who famously stopped speaking on his last series of Celebrity Big Brother because of the lack of his favourite beverage, made the discovery when he got out of bed. He exclaimed to the group:

“Oh No! Two of my diet coke’s have exploded. I cant believe it, I can’t believe it!”

As he sat on his bed he continued:

“God why? I just cannot believe this happened!”

As Josie laughed and said:

“John I said to take them out of the freezer love.”

John kept going:

“For God’s sake, I just cannot believe it. This is serious, this is a major major crisis! It’s ridiculous.”

And so the madness begins……..

John McCririck became the seventh housemate to enter Ultimate Big Brother tonight.

The seventy year old racing pundit became the second person to be evicted from Celebrity Big brother in 2005. He is best remembered for his sexist views on women, refusing to take part in tasks, walking around in his ‘white’ y fronts and refusing to talk for three days in protest at not receiving any Diet Coke.

As he returned to the show tonight, John told Davina that he was only back for the money and asked the public to evict him first, he had even made himself a banner to plead with the crowd.

He later warned fellow housemate Nikki Grahame that he would not take any of her tantrums over the next few weeks. Do you think John has a chance of winning, or will he be the first person evicted this Friday?

John McCririck has asked Channel 4 not to cancel Celebrity Big Brother this year.

Despite the channel’s decision to axe both CBB and the summer’s Big Brother series, McCririck said that fans of the show are keen for the show to stay on air.

Speaking on Live From Studio Five, the former housemate commented: “I must say, I’ve never had so many people coming up to me saying, ‘My gosh, why is it going?’. Lots of people hate it, but there’s a lot of people asking why it isn’t going on [and saying] this is the best series they can remember.

“I think Channel 4 should think about bringing it back. It’s got their highest viewing figures still. Why deny people?”

After the ordeal was over, John daly revealed: “I was taken aback. It was one of the most challenging interviews I have ever done.”
