Jordin Sparks has revealed that she would love to perform on X Factor.

The former American Idol winner told ‘You Call The Hits’ on The Hits Radio: “We’ve been talking about it. I don’t know if it’s confirmed yet, so if I am it’ll be just as a surprise to you as it is to me.

“But I’m hoping – I’m trying to make that happen because I want to.”

Former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, has called the producers of the show ‘dumb’ for letting Paula Abdul go.

“It was dumb on American Idol’s part,” the winner of season six told us earlier today at 102.7 KISS-FM’s Teen Choice Awards gifting lounge. “I love American Idol and I respect them. It’s because of them that I got my start, but Paula was one of the original judges. She helped soften the blow for contestants when we didn’t do well. I love Paula.”

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks has admitted that she was bowled over when she first caught Susan Boyle’s Britain’s Got Talent audition on Youtube.

The Tattoo singer revealed that she wasn’t sure what to expect when she first heard about Boyle but came to support the ‘underdog’ after hearing her sing.

“I’m such a fan of Susan Boyle. I was hearing all this commotion about her, so I looked her up online,” she told The Sun.

“I thought one of two things, either she’s going to be really good or really bad. So when she opened her mouth and was amazing, the look on Simon Cowell’s face was priceless.”

Last years American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks has revealed that she used to have a crush on Simon Cowell…….didn’t we all?

While promoting her very average new single featured below, Sparks told Metro: “I think there was a time when I had a crush on Simon, but it was when I used to watch the show, not when I was on it.”

The singer added: “He’s very cute, but he’s already taken.”
