It’s been revealed today that X Factor mogul Simon Cowell’s mum Julie is set to become a judge in a brand new talent show, The SusseX Factor!

87 year old Julie will be joined on the new talent quest panel by former Coronation Street star Brian Capron – who played killer Richard Hillman – and Dancing on Ice judge Robin Cousins…

However, it’s not a new TV show and is a local tongue in cheek spoof of her famous son’s show that will be held as a charity fundraiser in the grounds of grade 11 listed Folkington Manor which is in East Sussex.

The contest will take place in early September, and of it, the Folkington Manor’s owner Jacquie Storey told the Daily Mirror, “I am assured by Julie Cowell that Simon won’t be instructing lawyers over the use of the name.. Read more & comment »
