Bows win the battle of first day’s trading

With the shops attracting customers in their droves, Bows emerge victorious from the first day of trading. They took a grand total of £2,048 while Better Half racked up £1,898. Even at this early stage the competition between the two shops is heating up!

Better Half Girls Targeted in Break In

The girls at Better Half were in for more bad news when they arrived at work the next day to find their newly opened boutique had been broken into overnight. The police believe the thieves are a “crack team of boutique raidersâ€? who target shops around Bond Street. It is the first time the burglars have targeted a shop outside this area. Jadene Bircham (wife of QPR’s Marc Bircham), Charlotte Mears (girlfriend of Spurs Jermain Defoe), Cassie Sumner (ex girlfriend of Chelsea’s Michael Essien) Heather Swan (soon to be Mrs Michael Chopra, Cardiff) and Elle Isaac (girlfriend of Crystal Palace’s Paul Ifill), were left feeling scared and vulnerable following the burglary. Presented by June Sarpong, get ready for handbags at dawn as two competing teams of the ‘Wives and Girlfriends’ of Britain’s footballers switch from browsing the shelves to stocking them as they set up and run two rival fashion boutiques in central London. From designing the store and choosing the stock to marketing and perfecting their sales techniques, the ten girls will need determination, flair and a head for business if they are to succeed. After 13 weeks the boutique with the highest profits wins, with all profits going to a charity of the girls’ choosing.

To make the rivalry between the teams even more intense, the boutiques are situated next to one another near London’s uber-trendy Carnaby Street. With each team having decided on a name for their shops, both ‘Bows’ and ‘Better Half’ look set to become as talked about as Liverpool’s famous Cricket boutique. The shops will be open to the public every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 February.

Some of England’s most famous WAGs (Wives and Girlfriends) are lined up to compete in an all new reality TV show ‘WAGS Boutique’ due to begin early next year.

Page 3 girl Nicola T has revealed that she will be among ten footballers’ wives and girlfriends running rival clothing shops in ITV show, WAGs Boutique.

The Sun reported:

Nicola, 24, who has been with West Ham striker Bobby Zamora for two years, is in the show along with Julie Phillips, wife of West Bromwich Albion striker and former England player Kevin Phillips.

Model Charlotte Meares, 21, the girlfriend of Tottenham Hotspur’s and England’s Jermain Defoe and Cassie Sumner, 23, a 34DD glamour model and the girlfriend of Chelsea’s Michael Essien.
