Eastenders actress Kara Tointon is said to be considering making an appearance on this years I’m A Celebrity.

The actress plays Dawn Swann on the BBC soap opera but has been axed and will appear on our screens for the last time this summer. Kara’s boyfriend Joe Swash won last year’s series of the show.

A show insider told the Daily Star: “She’s already got a huge fanbase who will love to be able to watch her out of character and being herself in the jungle camp.

Eastenders actress Kara Tointon is said to be signing up for this years Strictly Come Dancing extravaganza.

Kara has been asked to appear on the show for the last three years but Eastenders boss Diedrick Santer banned soap stars from taking part because of the gruelling schedule.

The announcement was made last week that Kara is soon to be being written out of the show along with on-screen boyfriend Ricky Groves, who plays Garry Hobbs, so she is now free to sign up for Strictly.
