Sree’s been pouring some verbal sugar on Karly today. This afternoon, while he was trying on various eviction outfits, he handed her a rose which went down very well…

“Aw Sree, thank you!” said Karly, clutching the task remnant.

Maybe that is a flower darling, but inside you can’t measure my love” Sree oozed, doing his best Alvis impersonation, complete with hip wiggling. Ew.

“Last night I had a dream,” he continued. “I see an angel with white clothes, but I can’t see her face…

“This morning when I woke up I saw your face. You are the one last night in my dreams. And I’m waiting for you over there” he said pointing to his bed.

Again, ew.

“Wow” said Karly, apparently struggling for a suitable response.

“Water bed. Rose petals. Pink champagne” he said as he wandered off, but he wasn’t done wooing yet…

“One girl came up to me last week, and she said ‘Sree, you’re a locksmith. You’re a locksmith of women’s hearts.’ Then do I realise how good I am”

Oooh my goodness. I wonder if he’s got a separate outfit for his ego? And who was this “girl”??

Karly and Lisa are out of tobacco, and their nicotine withdrawals are showing…

In the garden yesterday, with Lisa chewing gum in a frenzied fashion and Karly pacing like a caged tiger, the two contemplated rummaging through the bins for any sign of an unsmoked ciggy, but their conversation soon turned mutinous as Lisa ranted that other houemates had exchanged tokens for booze so she reckoned she and Karly should do the same for tobacco…

Following on from Lisa and Halfwit’s row yesterday, Karly added her opinion to the debacle when Halfwit rather unwisely asked her what she thought about it all…

He asked her to explain what she thinks is the difference between a good gameplan and a bad gameplan. If I’d been there, I’d have said to him, “Havers mon, are ye touched in the heed?!” because he’s already riled Karly up earlier in the day during their singing practice.

Anyway, he said, “The bad gameplans are the ones which are designed to make certain people look bad and make people fight amongst themselves.

“Dude, if I had a gameplan like that, do you think I’d be up for eviction four weeks in a row?”

“A gameplan to me is a gameplan, and that’s just it” replied Karly.

“You’re a smart girl though…” whined Halfwit.

“Exactly!” said Karly, getting more het up by the second.

“Just because I’m intelligent doesn’t mean to say I’m gonna agree with you. I’m intelligent and I’m clever and I’ve got my own mind, so I can think whatever the hell I want to think!”

Halfwit should be now have been running for the hills but instead, added, “You can, but…”

“I’m my own person!” Karly interrupted.

Halfwit then offered a return volley on the subject of trust…

“The people who are really untrustworthy in here have kept very quiet about the subject of gameplans” he said as Karly stared at him.

“You ken what I mean?” Halfwit said, seemingly trying to speak Karly’s language.

“Honestly I’ve just not got any more energy for this any more. It does my head in.”

“It does my head in too” agreed Halfwit. “My thoughts become a prison but honestly Karly, I’m really trustworthy, honest and open.

“Anything I’ve said to people behind their backs I’ve also said to their face. Anybody who didn’t trust me in here, when they come out of here will see that.”

Deary me… it’s like an action replay every year isn’t it?

Yesterday the housemates were struggling with the heat in their rather lavish costumes which are part of the Italy task.

Karly, Rodrigo and Halfwit were dressed up as the Three Tenors for which the trio had to wear fat-suits with Halfwit’s being the fattest for his role as Pavarotti. And he especially sweltered with a big false face beard.

The music started and all three sung their hearts out, really wowing the audience of housemates; Lisa and Charlie looked like they might cry as the tenors warbled, while Noirin looked like she’d sat on a nettle and Sree just appeared to be confused. Here’s a clip from the performance…

Once the performance was over, the housemates threw roses at the performers but Karly wasn’t sure it’d gone well.

“I’m sure the music was different” she said, adding, “Hopefully we’ll get it though, basing it on how much we practised and everything.”

I’m sure the real Three Tenors always say the same after their shows. Not.

Last night, while Freddie was busy telling Marcus and Siavash that he believed Kris and Sophie’s romance was “fake, fake, fake”, Kris was telling some of the other housemates in the kitchen that he feels he’s “backed off” too much from Sophie.

He also reckons that Sophie’s isn’t bothered that he has and so he’s questioning whether she really does like him or not… maybe he should ask a dinner lady or tell on her to the teacher.

However, despite his sounding like a love-sick 7 year old, Karly had some – brief – words of comfort for him…

“She’s not that kind of lassie, she’s young” Karly said sagely prompting Sree to try to give Kris some lurve advice too, but he got short shrift; “I’m not taking advice off you!” Kris told him firmly before turning back to Karly.

“On the outside I just pull the birds, but I’ve had to get to know her in here” he said, to which Karly replied, “That’s a good thing though…”

But she didn’t get to finish her sentence because, having had a fair amount of booze and some undercooked oven chips – courtesy of Sree – she suddenly had the urge to throw up.

Nice.

Sree’s super happy today because thanks to a wash-in hair dye, he’s back to black and no longer sporting orange hair.

But there was a warning for him from Karly…

While Sree jumped around celebrating the return of his black hair and shouting, “My hair is back – it is black” Karly had to remind him that nothing last forever.

“You have to remember not to wash it as much though. It’ll wash out because it’s no permanent…”

This successfully pee’d on his bonfire but he had a solution; “Next Shopping Task we’re gonna buy dye” he declared happily, but Karly had some hair raising news…

“Sree, you’re no doing a £10 shopping budget for your hair son” she said loftily.

“Then I might stop eating for two days” Sree responded, his cheeky grin softening Karly’s heart.

“If I hear about your hair one more time, it’ll be far too soon” she berated, but with a smile on her face.

What’s the betting that next time they get the shopping list, Sree will be hovering around saying, “Personally, me, I want hair dye, howevvver, I am willing to starve also, hon-estly.”

After their big blow up earlier in the day yesterday, Sree just wouldn’t let it lie and, armed with new ally Karly, he decided to have a go at Marcus for being “disrespectful” to the women in the house.

Needless to say, Marcus wasn’t going to let that one go…

“When have I ever disrespected women in here?!

“You do it all the time, Marcus” said Karly. “You’re always at Sophie – ’show us your tits, do this, do that’.”

“That’s a joke!” an exasperated Marcus replied.

“That’s disrespectful to women though” Karly replied.

“I can’t believe you say that!” said a shocked looking Marcus adding, “If you naturally get on with someone you’re alright. You listen to Siavash and Cairon and I just think ‘oh that is terrible’!”

Which makes no sense to me but seemingly Karly understood…

“So why do you do it to Sophie then? It’s not different at all” she said.

“I say about tits because I know Sophie’s sense of humour and I know she’s cool with it” replied Marcus, still not willing to back down.

“But she’s not though!” Karly insisted and Sree agreed, “She’s not though!”

Later on, without Sree around, Marcus cornered Karly which she clearly wasn’t too chuffed about.

“For him to say to me that I’m disrespectful to women was very insulting to me” Marcus told her.

Karly replied that, “Obviously the argument between you two is between you. It’s nothing to do with me and you.”

But the he-said-she-said wasn’t over yet…

Marcus told her, “The difference between me and him is that if I’m talking about something I’ll come straight to you, but he’ll go behind everyone’s back and try and influence your opinion. I mean how many times has he run to you – ‘oh Marcus is doing this again’? It’s every five minutes!”

“He doesn’t run to me” she said, but didn’t look entirely convinced about what she was saying.

“He don’t like it ‘cos Noirin don’t like him any more, and he’s blaming me for it” Marcus stated before they both went about their business.
