Kate Garraway was the seventh person to be voted off
BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing tonight after failing to impress the judges in the dance off.
All the couples danced different numbers tonight, but once again one of those couples had to leave.

GMTV presenter, Kate Garraway, has given her thoughts on why the public are still voting for her in Strictly Come Dancing, and she doesn’t think it is merely down to sympathy.
“Look, I know I’m not the best dancer, but this show isn’t just about who is the best dancer. If it was, they would have invited 50 celebrities to audition, then picked the best 14,” Garraway told the Daily Mail.
“I honestly don’t know why people have voted for me. Is it the underdog thing? I don’t think so. I like to think that I had an unfortunate start, and the viewers understood this, and could see that I was getting better every week. Read more & comment »

Strictly Come Dancing insiders have revealed that after last weeks shock exit of Gabby Logan, nerves are running high in the SCD camp.
The contestants were prepared for the criticisms of the judging panel, but they weren’t ready for the fickle British public, who seem to be going all out to vote for lame ducks like Kate Garraway and Kenny Logan.
A show insider reveals: “This has undoubtedly been the toughest week of the series so far. Nobody expected Gabby to go. No one could have predicted that she and Penny would have been in the bottom two. It was a massive shock - there have been more than just a few nerves jangling since then.”

Reports have emerged that dancers and judges alike are shocked and disappointed by the fact that despite embarrassingly bad performances, GMTV presenter Kate Garraway has yet to be in the bottom two couples in the results show.
Judges, Arlene Phillips and Craig Revel Horwood are said toi be particularly angry at Kate’s persistance, Arlene told producers: “I can’t believe Kate Garraway is still on the show, she can’t dance.”
A source told The Sun: “All the celebrities and their partners are putting in hours of practice. It’s rather galling for them to work that hard and then see Kate sail through to the next round despite putting in an appalling performance. Things are starting to get catty.”
