A Belfast woman who has undergone drastic cosmetic surgery for her big X Factor comeback, has revealed that Simon Cowell’s comments during her first audition almost wrecked her life.

Katrina Lee, underwent liposuction and facial cosmetic surgery after Simon told her that she had a good voice, but not the right look.

Lee told The Sun: “I had to go back and re-write history. What happened to me the last time nearly tipped me over the edge. It was terrible.

An Irish woman has undergone drastic cosmetic surgery, in a bid to succeed at this year’s X Factor.

Katrina Lee first auditioned for the show in 2004 but was told by Simon Cowell and his fellow judges that she didn’t have the right image. What Simon really meant, was that she didn’t have boobs up to her chin and waist length, peroxide blonde hair.

Simon even went as far to say that Katrina may be marketable if they put her voice in someone else’s body. Who says he wasn’t harsher in the old days?

“When [Simon] first heard me sing he said he wished he could put my voice in somebody else’s body,” Katrina told the Derry Journal.
