Former Coronation Street star Danny Young has reportedly signed up for next year’s Dancing On Ice.

Danny played Mike Baldwin’s grandson, Warren and until recently dated his one time co-star Nikki Sanderson.

Danny will allegedly be joined by former Eternal singer Kelle Bryan and former Holby City actor Jeremy Sheffield.

An insider told The Sun: “Most of the celebrities have never put on a pair of skates before, so the training has been a pretty scary experience for them.

“Jayne and the other trainers have helped put them through their paces and now they can’t wait to get going on the show.”

Any fool could have guessed that Callum Best would win, he is handsome and chivalrous. Callum Best could melt the heart of even the frostiest female! He certainly melted mine when he dirty danced with Kelle.

But Bianca Gascoigne? She is a nice girl and I think the result will do wonders for her self confidence, but I just didn’t expect her to win.

Brendan Cole looked gutted with the result, he was easily the most competitive man on the island, and the one person who really really wanted to win. Not only did he not win, but he didn’t even get a girl!

Once I heard that result I was convinced that Kelle would be leaving, I was so surprised (pleasantly though) when Sophie was booted out.

Kelle adds a lot of positivity to the group, and is a great role model. Its not very often people like Kelle are allowed to shine on national TV.

However the world can surely do without Diva Anderton. I for one am glad to see her go. I just wish she would go and fade into obscurity now and leave us all alone!

Embarrassingly, the love-seeking celebs failed to recognize virtually all the photos given to them, from Tony Blair (Colleen: Is that our president?) to Abraham Lincoln (Lee: Is that Darwin?). Things got a little tense as Kelle Bryan stood up to Alicia Douvall for taking the task too seriously and ridiculing people for not knowing the answers. In the end, the competition was between Kelle and Victoria Hervey, with Kelle ultimately winning. She and her partner Brendan received chocolate ice-cream as a reward (presumably from show sponsors Bounty – clever!)

Alicia (or Jackie Stallone Junior as we call her about the house) was given the job of making dinner, managed to nick herself with a knife and proceeded to spend a wee while hamming it up for the cameras. Unconvincingly, I might add. Thank God she’s not an actress!

In other news, I’m feeling slightly sorry for Lee Otway, who is desperate to get his leg over (anyone), but has been rejected by Victoria Hervey. He just looks like a horny kid who stowed away on the boat. I read on the Love Island website that he’d have no problem ‘bonking’ on screen. Good luck Lee – just need a bonkee to do it with, eh?

She was dismissed from the group in 1999 and subsequently signed to Mercury Records and released the single “Higher Than Heaven”. However the record did not fare well and Kelle was quickly dropped by the label, fading into obscurity….until NOW!
