Kelly Brook has hinted that Alesha Dixon may end up regretting her decision to leave Strictly Come Dancing, so she can take up a judges’ role on Britain’s Got Talent.

Brook was hired for the show back in 2009 but fired after only a few days of auditions, reportedly at the request of show hosts Ant and Dec.

The actress and model also took part in Strictly Come Dancing and was partnered by Brendan Cole and told Fabulous magazine that she much preferred the BBC show to it’s ITV rival.

Brook said:

“I’ve been on both sides, and for me there’s a warmth and a niceness to Strictly that BGT simply doesn’t have.

“The whole thing is a circus and I don’t want my life to be like that. I’m quite straightforward. I’ve got enough drama in my life without having to deal with Simon Cowell’s as well! I don’t want it. I’ve got no interest in it.”

On Alesha’s move to BGT, Kelly added:

“I don’t doubt for a second that Simon deliberately stole her from Strictly. I wish Alesha all the best – it’s a fantastic opportunity.”

Kelly also hit the headlines this week, after she tweeted out quite a suggestive picture of herself, holding some coconuts. Warning….there will be boobs if you click through on this link!

Amanda Holden showed her bitchy side at this week’s Britain’s got Talent auditions.

The heavily pregnant star was being interviewed in Manchester and was asked why she thinks new judge Alesha Dixon will be more successful on the ITV show than Kelly Brook was in her ill fated stint in 2009.

She told The Mirror:

“She’s probably got something else – a brain.”

In January 2009, Kelly joined the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel, but was axed from the ITV programme after less than a week. In October 2009, the brunette beauty claimed that presenting duo Ant & Dec had been the cause of her removal as the fourth judge, as she insisted that she was asked to leave after she upset the pair

Simon Cowell addressed the whole Kelly fiasco saying:

“I think that was a whole different situation because we didn’t tell anyone, not even the other judges and Ant and Dec didn’t know.

“This time everyone is on board, they’re getting on fine, we won’t see a repeat of that.”

Kelly Brook has confirmed that she is pregnant.

The actress and TV presenter took to Twitter to reveal the news yesterday and told followers that her and rugby star Thom Evans are expecting their first child and already know it will be a little girl. She wrote:

“Thom and I are happy to announce we are expecting a baby girl. We are delighted XXXX.”

Kelly and Thom have only been dating since November, so the news must have come as a shock to both parties.

The brunette beauty, has previously dated Jason Statham and Danny Cipriani, and the latter already admitted that he heard Kelly’s news two months ago saying:

“Kelly told me in January that she was expecting. I’m really happy for her. She’ll be a great mum.”

Kelly made the revelations after she was pictured in LA looking much frumpier and chunky than usual.

It is week two of TV’s most hilarious dance contest, and presenters Claudia Winkleman and Steve Jones will once again put some of Britain’s bravest celebrity faces from the worlds of comedy, sport and entertainment through their paces in the good name of charity.

Acting as judges on tonight’s show will be comedy actor Miranda Hart, 2009 runner-up Paddy McGuinness and presenter Kelly Brook. Add to that an exclusive performance from pop sensation Gabriella Cilmi and it’s shaping up to be a good show.

Dancing on tonight’s show will be actress and impressionist, Debra Stephenson, comedian Shappi Khorsandi, TV presenter Richard Arnold dancing with Kate Garraway and Michael Fish dancing with the Weather Girls (Lara Lewington, Clare Nasir, Becky Mantin), presenters Sam and Mark and boxers Carl Froch, Johnny Nelson, Tony Jeffries and Duke McKenzie.

OK! Welcome to the liveblog – Gerard here, and I’ll be your guide through tonight’s show. To be honest, I’m only here in the hopes that Kate Garraway’s wonderful knockers will fall out of her dress. I see Paddy McGuinness is a judge on tonight’s show – he must be hoping to make his name synonymous with shitty Saturday night television!

Mark and Sam

Moronic presenting duo Mark and Sam – unknown to anyone over the age of 7 – take a masterclass from the godawful Timmy Mallet on the 80′s. They’re performing Wake Me Up Before You Go Go by Wham. Well, they’re at least more co-ordinated than Jedward and thankfully they’re not expected to sing. It’s textbook awfulness. I won’t cover the judges’ comments, mostly because they’re all hot air. But I will note that Kelly Brook finally got herself a primetime judging role. Bless.

The Boxers

Oh, I suppose we couldn’t get through a Sports Relief show without there being some sportsmen. Still, I can’t help but be slightly disappointed. I’m a couch potato, and I don’t do sports. But these boxers are unintentionally funny – you can see the concentration in their faces as they try to remember the moves! My only comment is that it’s a good job this is for charity – these guys probably do the same dancing down the pub on a Saturday night. It’s just a different venue for them, innit?

Shappi Khorsandi

We love Shappi! We watch her regularly repeated Apollo show every time it comes on telly, so it’s good to see her on the Beeb for once! She’s dancing to Mickey, in a cheerleader outfit! I’d forgotten what a terrible song this was, it’s torture! Oh, but Shappi, the sight of you trying to do cartwheels is hilarious for all the wrong reasons! If Paddy McGuinness keeps doing handmade scorecards for each result, I might fly over there, invade the studio and steal his bloody biro. Plonker.

Confession: I might fancy Shappi a little bit.

Debra Stephenson

Best sketch of the night was Debra being all schizo for that blonde doctor guy. She takes the inevitable Michael Jackson track – can’t have a dance show without a Jacko song – and does a great Smooth Criminal. She’s probably the best dancer so far tonight as well. There’ll be offers to go on Strictly next year I bet.

Weather Girls

You don’t often get an opportunity to say this on Unreality TV, but hubba hubba. Three extremely hot weather girls, plus Michael Fish. Will we be getting It’s Raining Men? Yes we will. Oh my gods, I’ve never seen three hot women dance in such an un-sexy way. I must be watching too much late night telly. Michael Fish raises the whole routine – especially when he recoils in horror from the male dancer at the end!

Kate Garraway and Richard Arnold

So, curvy Kate has teamed up with hyper-camp Richard Arnold. They’re dancing to the hand job jive song from Grease. Well, if you thought this was going to be a Garraway train wreck, think again! It’s a fantastic group number, with Kate and Richard pulling off a great comedy dancing routine. Kate’s milking equipment looks great, put me in the mood for a cuppa. Richard quips that he’d rather be a pink lady, and in his imagination, we think he already is… McGuinness’s biro has drawn a scribbly “10″ scorecard!

Best dancers of the night – the multi-talented Debra Stephenson and the GMTV twosome, Kate and Richard. I couldn’t say which one should go through. My head says Debra was the best dancer, but my loins would vote for Kate Garraway. Several times over.

It’s not over? No, we’re treated to a variety of filler pieces. Awesome. How refreshing to see Jason Donovan lending his singing talents to something other than an Iceland commercial. What a swell party, etc, etc.

There is, in fact, so much filler material here, that I found myself praying for an ad break. Wrong channel for that, matey They even give Paddy Kielty screen time. Yes, that’s how desperate they are to fill in the time between the dancing and the results. Patrick Kielty overtaking a tractor on a bike. Luckily, they’ve drafted in the very sexy Gabriella Cilmi to sing a wee song. Looks like she’s stolen Lady Gaga’s backing dancers. I’ve loving this tune though – I always thought Cilmi was a closet rocker!

Len Goodman gives a soundbyte “There are certain moments in comedy that will last forever…” and it looks like this show is one of them. They even trot out an old Morcambe and Wise  sketch.

Finally, we get the results – Kate Garraway and Richard Arnold get the highest votes, leaving Sam and Mark (seriously?) up against Debra Stephenson. The judges get to choose who to save. Hmmm, I wonder who they’ll choose… yep, with the two sensible judges send Debra through to the final. While Paddy McGuinness chooses to save Ant & Dec wannabes Sam and Mark. OK, his reasoning is sound – that they were actually funny – but I find the duo really annoying.

TV duo Ant and Dec, have admitted that Simon Cowell apologised for hiring Kelly Brook without consulting them.

Kelly was hired as the fourth Britain’s Got Talent judge earlier this year, but sacked after only six days on the job.

Speaking at the time, Dec admitted: “We were angry about Kelly. But it was because no-one asked our opinion. What was upsetting was that it happened in the first place. It was wrong from the start.”

In a new interview with Q magazine Ant commented: “We had a bit of an issue with him bringing in a fourth judge. But we sat down and talked about it and he apologised for not consulting us.”

Dec added: “Simon’s not that big a pain in the arse. He’s quite charming.”

Former Strictly Come Dancing competitor, Kelly Brook, has lent her support to Alesha Dixon as a new judge on the show.

Kelly competed alongside Alesha when she eventually won the show back in 2007 and though she mentions her affection for outgoing judge Arlene Phillips, Brook thinks Alesha will being a lot to Strictly Come Dancing.

Brook is quoted by OK as saying: “It must be so hard for Alesha but she’ll be fine. I think she will be great.

“She’s such an amazing dancer. I think she’ll bring so much to the show. She looks amazing and has a great personality. It’s a great thing for Strictly to have her.”

Confirming that she also sympathises with Phillips, the star added: “It would have been nice to have them side by side.”

Kelly Brook has admitted that she loved her stint on Britain’s Got Talent, even though she got the sack after only six days.

Speaking to Red, she said: “So it didn’t work out. I look at it like this, I sat next to Simon Cowell. I judged a few people, it was great.

“I had a fantastic time and, yes, I would have loved to be on it more. But where one door closes, another one opens. After Britain’s Got Talent, I went on holiday to LA and got approached outside a restaurant to act in [Piranha 3D].

“If I’d still been doing Britain’s Got Talent, I wouldn’t be doing the film. You have to be positive about life.”

She added: “After Britain’s Got Talent, I wrote a letter – all my feelings about the whole thing – and then threw it away. You have to get it out and I find it really helps. It helps your brain process it.”

Piers Morgan has claimed that Kelly Brook didn’t deserve all the bitchy comments levelled at her when she was sacked from the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel.

On his official blog, Morgan wrote: “Next week you will see Kelly Brook make her much discussed appearance at the Manchester auditions.

“Kelly was a nice girl, and a good laugh, and doesn’t deserve the bitchy comments she has been getting. But as you’ll see, having a fourth judge just all seemed a bit weird.”

Amanda Holden has spoken out about the recent sacking of Kelly Brook from Britain’s Got Talent, saying that four judges was just too confusing.

“Kelly’s a lovely girl, but it doesn’t work with four people, it doesn’t,” she told GMTV. “Because when you get two buzzes, and then two non-buzzes, Ant and Dec and everyone was going, ‘What does that mean?’…and it was so ridiculously confusing.

“It was a shame for her because she was thrown completely in at the deep end.”

Kelly Brook is said to be seriously concerned about her TV presenting career after being recently dropped from Britain’s Got Talent.

Kelly was hired as a judge last month and then sensationally dropped after only six days on the panel.

A show insider told Now magazine: “Kelly feels she’s been made a fool of.

“She’s worried she won’t get any more high-profile TV gigs because people will feel she can’t cut it.

“She hates her bimbo image and is desperate to be taken seriously. She’s terribly upset.”

Another source claimed that Kelly’s role as a BGT judge was a “disaster waiting to happen” as TV presenting has never been one of the former model’s strong points.

“It’s led some to wonder if Simon and ITV bosses used her to drum up publicity, although they’ve emphatically denied that,” the source added.
