The 2013 season of American Idol only wrapped up a week ago and already rumours are spreading thick and fast about who will be in the hot seats when the show returns next year.
It has been widely reported that the current judges will be dropped – except for Randy Jackson who has already stepped down of his own accord – and if Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are axed, bosses will have to start again from scratch with their panel.

Kelly Clarkson has confirmed the UK release date for her newest single.
The American Idol winner will be releasing her new track this summer in Britain and has revealed that ‘People Like Us’ will hit the shelves on June 23.
Fans will most likely be familiar with the song already, as it was released in America on 8th April and the stunning star has already performed it on the Idol stage.

It seems that American Idol may as well be called The Reunion lately considering how many of its previous stars are returning to perform this series, and this week is no exception as reports claim that the show’s first ever winner, Kelly Clarkson, is set to make an appearance during this Thursday’s results show!
Kelly Clarkson found fame as she impressed judges during the first ever American Idol back in 2002, and since winning the show has gone on to find worldwide fame.

It has been revealed that Jahmene Douglas was consistently the most out of tune contestant on last night’s X Factor final. The 21 year old hit a whopping 20 wrong notes in his first performance of ‘Move on up’ and a further 17 in his duet of ‘The Greatest Love Of All’ with Nicole Scherzinger.
The former shelf stacker has been criticised for over singing on a number of occasions and it seems as though nerves may have had a part to play last night, as he hit more flat notes than even eliminated contestant Christopher Maloney.

Kelly Clarkson made her big X Factor return this evening.
The American Idol star has performed on previous series of the ITV show, however tonight’s show was an extravaganza held in Manchester’s Central Arena and she performed not only for millions of viewers at home, but also for a live audience of more than 10,000 people.

The lineup for this weekend’s X Factor final is beginning to take shape.
We’ve already reported that One Direction and Emeli Sande would be performing, as will Australian pop star Kylie Minogue and US songstress Rihanna.
This morning it has been confirmed that joining them on the grand finale over Saturday and Sunday night will be none other than American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson and Britain’s Got Talent stars Only Boys Aloud.

Former American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert, is planning to make the leap across the pond and once again make a crack at the UK music market.
Lambert, who came second to Kris Allen in the 2009 series of the competition, is well-known in the States for flamboyant style and wide-ranging vocals, and hopes that by bringing his talent over here he will become as successful with the British public.

Sources say producers approached singers such as American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson, acclaimed singer songwriter Adele, along with Justin Bieber, Flo Rida and David Guetta and asked them to collaborate with the finalists. However it is claimed that all the A listers said no.
