This weeks Dancing On Ice show saw each pair of skaters forced to use a prop, and unfortunately Kelly Homes was given a chair!

Kelly was unhappy with their prop from the start stating “When we were given the props and I had the chair, I was quite negative from the start,� she says, clearly not chuffed about the chair.

“I just instantly said, ‘That’s it, we’re going to go out this week.’�

Well she was right! Kelly and her partner Todd found themselves in the Skate Off for the second time in a row and although the judges saved her from being kicked out last week, this week they unanimously voted to keep Bonnie Langford and ditch kelly Holmes.

The Olympic Athlete was not a bit surprised at the result!

“I pretty much expected it to be honest,� Kelly said.

“Obviously Bonnie’s been doing very well.

“She’s been very popular with the judges, so when it’s down to the judges you pretty much know what’s going to happen.

“But I did my best. I’ve done a lot in my life and this is another thing to add to it.

“It’s given me an opportunity to learn something I never thought I’d ever do, and it adds to my life experience.�

The competiton is definately starting to hot up and we even saw Bonnie Langford begin to skate alone this week. Who knows what will be next! Maybe David Seaman will manage to get through the week WITHOUT injuring his partner!

Bonnie Langford has spoken out against the tabloids who have reported major rivalry between her and fellow Dancing On Ice Contestant Dame Kelly Holmes.

She told the Daily Record that “We are all beginners, struggling with our own demons and hurdles that we can’t get through. We are all as petrified as each other and support each other,”

“I can assure you there is no competition between Kelly and I. We were watching the television together when Kelly said to her partner Todd that she wanted to do a lift because I couldn’t do it. But we laughed about it.”

I’d say that Kelly has more to worry from judges like Jason Gardiner than she does from Bonnie!

Bonnie can’t skate anyway, all she does is hold on to her partner and let him lift her once in a while! Not much to compete with really!

Ice Skating is a beautiful sport and a joy to watch but it doesn’t come without its dangers and thats what the celebrity contestants on ITV’s Dancing On Ice have come to realise.

It seems as though every one has been injured in some way

• Kelly Holmes has suffered from groin strain
• John Barrowman put his back out and injured his ankle. He also sliced partner Olga ’s hand open with his blades
• Stefan Booth has dislocated his shoulder and is suffering from tendonitis in both knees
• Bonnie Langford has taken to wearing a safety helmet after bashing her head and she slashed her partner Matt Evers’ face with her boot blade during a spin
• Andi Peters dislocated his left wrist
• Andrea McLean broke a rib, knocked herself out and pulled a muscle in her bum!
• David Seaman has so far avoided injury but managed to fall on his partner and cause injury to her shoulder leaving her unable to skate this week.

  This lot would make a fortune in personal injury claims once the show ends….the unofficial sponsor of the show could be Claims Direct or some other seedy legal firm!

‘Dancing on Ice’ star Kelly Holmes has slated one of the show’s judges, Jason Gardiner, over comments he made about her during last weekend’s live show.

After Holmes skated with her professional dance partner, Gardiner compared her to a drag queen, saying that her muscular body made her look like a man.

Later Holmes said: “Jason’s vile for saying something personal about me, my figure got me two gold medals and I’m not going to change it for an ice skating show.”

“I am not on the show to be slagged off and I’m not happy about it,” Holmes said. “If you want to criticise my skating, that’s fine, but don’t criticise me as a person, that’s not nice.”

Dame Kelly Homes is furoous with Judge jason from ITVs Dancing On Ice after he told her that she looked like a man in drag while performing her routine.

Kelly was furious and all the other contestants seemed to back her up, with Andy Peters on the This Morning show saying that Jason should not be maing such personal comments to the dancers.

I honestly don’t know what all the fuss is about, Kelly looked more manly than her partner Todd Sand and to my eye it should be her lifting him. She has no grace and very little finesse and I think Jason (while obviously trying to be the Ice Skating equivalent of Simon Cowell) hit the nail on the head on Saturday. The truth is always hard to hear!
