The Girls Aloud star admits that she enjoys watching the N-Dubz singer on the ITV series, and thinks the brunette beauty is a ‘great’ mentor for groups The Risk and Rhythmix,
Speaking about Tulisa’s replacing her best pal on the ITV show, Walsh told STV:
Cheryl Cole is a good friend and she demonstrated that last night, as she took time out of her busy schedule, to support her pal Kimberley Walsh.
The former Girls Aloud star enjoyed her opening night in London’s West End show ‘Shrek The Musical’ yesterday, replacing Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden who recently announced she is pregnant with her second child.
Cheryl joined her former bandmate on the red carpet for the opening of the show, in which Kim takes on the role of Princess Fiona, and as the performance got underway, Cole watched Walsh shine from a VIP box at the side of the stage.

Tulisa Contostavlos may have taken over Cheryl Cole’s judging role for the X Factor but the two showed last night that there was no hard feelings at the Pride of Britain Awards. The blonde beauty – who recently starred in the new Horrid Henry movie – dismissed rumours that the band will never be reuniting due to in fighting and bickering and insisted that they will find some way to celebrate their tenth anniversary in 2012.

Kimberley Walsh has revealed that she won’t be taking part in the X Factor this year, because her pal Cheryl Cole isn’t judging on it.
Cole left the ITV show earlier this year to join the panel of the American version, only to be sacked a few weeks later by Simon Cowell.
Speaking to The Sun’s Buzz magazine, Kimberley admitted that Cheryl’s departure means the end of her helping out at judges houses too.

The former Girls Aloud bandmates recently enjoyed a girly holiday in Hollywood, but Walsh admits that she was shocked by the level of interest in her best pal in The States, confessing that at times the ‘madness’ made her ‘scared’ for Cole.
She explained to the Daily Star: “It made me realise what it is like for her. I get scared for her in the madness.
We just reported that Kimberley Walsh has refused to judge Cheryl Cole and will stand by her whether or not she decides to reunite with Ashley Cole, however it seems the other Girls Aloud members are not so supportive.

The ‘Promise This’ hitmaker sported a wide smile and a pair of huge sunglasses as she made her return to America, where she is thought to have been summoned to record her final X Factor USA scenes.
It has been reported that Cole had no desire to go back, but was ordered by Fox bosses to film some commentary which would explain her departure from the TV talent show, to viewers who will be tuning in this September.
