Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips has blamed professional dancer, Kristina Rihanoff for Joe Calzaghe’s departure this weekend.
Arlene thinks the pair’s performances were lacking, because their romance was so heavily publicised outside the show.
Arlene told The Sun: “The thing about Strictly romances like Matt and Flavia’s is nobody knew. That’s what made it so unbelievably powerful.
Despite being kicked off Strictly Come Dancing this Saturday, dancer Kristina Rihanoff has insisted that it won’t be the end of her relationship with Joe Calzaghe.
Kristina told The Sun:
“He’s a very, very good-looking guy. He’s in top shape. Yes, I do think he’s sexy.”
“He’s the nicest and kindest person I’ve ever met. He’s a really, really nice guy.
Joe Calzaghe has finally admitted that he IS dating his Strictly Come Dancing partner, Kristina Rihanof.
The Mail On Sunday snapped Kristina leaving Joe’s apartment early yesterday morning and claims that she has slept there every night this week.
Kristina Rihanoff addressed the ex girlfriend of Joe Calzaghe’s, saying that she had “better get used” to photographs of them together.
Jo-Emma Larvin recently expressed her sadness at seeing the pair getting cosy after dance rehearsals.
However, Rihanoff told the Daily Mail: “No offence to her, but if she is going to get upset about some pictures with me holding his hand, well, she’d better get used to it.
Strictly Come Dancing competitor Joe Calzaghe is said to have fallen head over heels for his professional partner Kristina Rihanoff. However, true love never runs smoothly and the BBC are said to have banned the pair from dating until the series is over.
This hasn’t stopped the pair from getting close and a pal of Kristina told The Mirror:
“The chemistry is extraordinary between the two of them. It’s totally electric. It’s all Joe can do to somehow keep himself in check.

A source said: “From an outsider’s perspective it certainly looks like they could be more than just friends. They were hugging, holding hands, whispering and laughing.
