Kylie Minogue will not be judging on The Voice it has been reported, because the fee she demanded was too high.
The new series will launch on BBC in January, with Jessie J as the only confirmed judge to date.
It had been reported yesterday that the publicly funded TV channel offered Australian star Kylie £1 million to join the English star, however she is said to have turned it down unless they could up the sum to £2.5 million.

Yesterday we reported that Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am is reportedly in talks about joining new BBC series The Voice as a celebrity mentor, it has already been revealed that Jessie J will hold one of the four seats and today, it has been claimed that Kylei Minogue is also in discussions to join the panel.

Dannii Minogue is said to be planning a pop comeback and who better to help her than her ridiculously successful sister, Kylie.
The Australian star has a lot more free time on her hands now that she’s left The X Factor and Kylie told The Sun that she’d love to work with her younger sibling when she returns to her musical roots.

Speaking about how the show has changed over the years, Kylie told The Daily Star:

The singer-and-TV talent show judge gave birth to Ethan – her first child with partner Chris Smith – July and her sister Kylie Minogue is astonished by how much her sibling has changed with parenthood.
Kylie said: “Having a baby has changed her. She’s mellowed and gone into a zone that’s very deep and I’ve never seen her like that before.
“She’s still hard-nosed and determined, but there’s something that’s changed in her that’s really beautiful to see.”
Kylie Minogue has admitted that her little sister Dannii is so honest, that she even criticises her at times.
The ‘Better Than Today’ singer wasn’t surprised when her sibling Dannii Minogue was asked to be a judge on UK TV pop star search show ‘The X Factor’ in 2007 because she has always been willing to give people an honest opinion.
She said: “Dannii is so honest, she’s perfect for ‘X Factor’. Before she was a judge on the show, she would come to my concerts and I always knew I was going to get a real opinion. Like she’d say, ‘Dancers two and five were off.’ She’d give me a list of things.”
