Sintta relived her glory days last night in London, as she took to the stage to perform at the Hit Factory reunion.
The 44 year old singer, who is best known for her eighties chart topping hit ‘So Macho’, performed at the Christmas Cracker concert at London’s O2 yesterday and she made sure her performance was memorable as she stripped to a very skimpy white bikini during her song.
The public got the X Factor 2012 result right it would seem, as they voted James Arthur their winner last night, correctly realising that the 23 year old has sung the least wrong notes across the final weekend.
James in fact even out performed most of the professionals hitting just 8 bums notes on the first night – less than Kelly Clarkson, Kylie Minogue and Rita Ora on their own. On Sunday night his performance of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Let’s Get it on’ also had less flat notes than performances from One Direction, Emeli Sandé and Rihanna.
Christopher Maloney is a bundle of nerves before tonight’s X Factor final.
The 34 year old was shaking like a leaf the last time he performed in a venue as big as Manchester Central Arena and he’s not any more composed before taking to the stage this evening.
The Liverpudlian will soon sing for a crowd of 10,000 people in what could be his last night on the ITV show and is fully aware that as well as the audience in the venue, he also has to impress the millions of people watching at home.
Kylie Minogue was last seen gracing the Strictly Come Dancing stage but it seems she could be about to switch side.
Traditionally the ITV and BBC shows try to avoid having the same guest stars on their series’ but it seems Simon Cowell is less worried about things like that this year as it has been confirmed that the pint size pop singer will be performing on The X Factor final this weekend.
Former X Factor winners Little Mix were allegedly banned from talking to Rihanna when she performed on the X Factor.
The girl group, who were formed on the TV talent contest last year, were apparently told to avoid the singer before she took to the stage on their series of the show.
Band member Jesy Nelson told We Love Pop: “We were on The X Factor with Rihanna and Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga was amazing, but we didn’t get to speak to Rihanna.”
Fellow Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: “Her management wouldn’t let anyone meet her, but she walked past me and said, ‘Your hair is awesome!’ This was when I had my head half-shaved, which I hated, so it cheered me up. ”
And while Umbrella singer Rihanna wasn’t the chattiest of stars on the night, the girls did get the chance to talk to pop princess Kylie Minogue earlier this year.
Jesy added: “We met Kylie at the BRITs. I kept looking at her bum because she’s got a really nice bottom.”
However, the girls could be inundated with meeting requests from their fellow stars in the future – they hope to soon become the biggest girlband on the planet.
Leigh-Anne said: “I want us to be the biggest girlband in the world. You’ve got to aim high. I’d like to achieve that within three years.”
Fellow band member and girlfriend of One Direction’s Zayn Malik, Perrie Edwards added: “One Direction have kind of opened up the gates for everyone else, hopefully. We’ll see.”

Kylie Minogue graced the stage of Wembley Arena last night and put on a special performance for the 6,000 strong crowd that had shown up to watch the Strictly Come Dancing contestants.
The Australian singer performed her classic hit ‘The Locomotion’ on the live Children In Need special yesterday and her appearance was recorded and featured on tonight’s results show, before the judges chose which celebrity would be leaving the series after the danceoff.
We would have expected Kylie Minogue to be boycotting the X Factor, since her sister was treated so badly on her departure from the show, but it seems that the pint sized pop star just can’t stay away.
The ‘Spinning Around’ hitmaker hit out at show boss Simon Cowell recently, for doing a kiss and tell on her younger sibling Dannii Minogue and for effectively pushing her off the ITV series last year.
However, annoyed as she was with the music mogul, she’s still watching as the contestants take to the stage each weekend and admitted that it’s controversial Rylan Clark that’s catching her eye.
BBC bosses are reportedly getting their pick of acts to perform on their shows this year and it’s been reported that both Kylie Minogue and pop group Girls Aloud will be taking to the Strictly Come Dancing stage later this year.
The dance competition is already trouncing the X Factor in the ratings battle each Saturday night and things are set to move up a notch when they air a huge charity special in Wembley Arena next month.
